Database Info

cannot view recorded videos nor can i see them in the folder

hi ppl,
i dont know if this issue has been talked about, but recently i was recording a video and it recorded for 10 second (even though its set on NO LIMIT for length) and after it records, when i use the HTC Album, it says no videos found. so then i go to my storage card where they actually are saved, but when i play them thru WM Player..it just plays the sound, i dont see the video
...is there a fix for this...
sorrry if this topic has been covered...but i truly did search ..but couldnt get anything...
plz help thank you ...btw im running the april 29th of duttys roms...
but this issue also happened when i was using L26's 3.15 based rom

yea man i looked into that too, but thats for the camera not working, and a green pixel in the video..
my problem is that it works, it records, but when i try to play in WM6 ,it will play but there is no picture, just the sound is presesnt...
nd help with this one?
and flashing a new radio wont get me anywhere, cuz i been stuck with 1.64.08.21 radio for a long time. ...

Streaming media help needed!!

Hello everyone,
From many days i have been tring to get a soft so that i can watch live tv on my htc touch viva. I got many softs the problem is no streaming media plays well on my device i mean it stucks a lot and there is not a smooth playback let it be any streaming video it dont plays. Plz help also when i use youtube app when switched to high quality the video loads fully but it stucks and play. Can anyone tell me why this happens may be beacuse of low processor? I have tried spb tv other streaming videos etc plz help

Install libtest and put your stream url and then Connect. When it works the other sofware have a problem. If it isnt work your device have a problem!

Getting a custom rom on your phone might speed things up a bit as well.

Hi All
Is there or is there not a Vlc player for the WM. I have read various forums and followed dead links and would like to know oce and for all does this exist or not and if so does anyone have a working link to the download the app.

A.F.A.K there is no VLC the best freebee you will find is TCPMP or if you wish for the up to date version CorePlayer but costs money.

I had a look at the portable apps but this is actually for windows 2000 and above, so I think stylez you are correct in saying that as yet the answer is no, but it would be nice if they did make a version, oh well maybe one day.

To bad I found the wrong stuff , thought it looked very promising.
I must say I agree with stylez , Coreplayer and tcpmp is without a doubt the best players for WinMo..
Anyway keep on searching , and maybe you'll find something about the vlc someday, but until then I suggest you use coreplayer

hi ... i want to know tht nokia n900 have vlc player.in n900 we can install vlc media player. N900 is running on linux and Android is also running on linux. so wy android dnt have vlc yet ?

the problem is ,, everytime i play videos on my tcpmp player it "LAGS" on some parts, specially on hd videos ,,even if the video resolution is in the resolution of htc viva (240x320) ,, i've tried many versions of tcpmp player but the la
gging issue is always there ,,what is the problem here? is it the rom? is it not compatible on tcpmp players? can you suggest me the best things to do?

oh! ,,and lately i discovered that the volume affects the video ,, the lower the volume the lesser the lags too ,, and when i play videos on mute mode ,,the lags are gone for good ,,can someone explain or solve this problem? PLSSSSS !,,,plsssssss help me

Sound Problem again !!

on my first device i noticed that when i watch movies the sound was gone after a few minutes ... then i brought the phone back and get a new one ...
but now with my second sensation its the same... after 2 or three minutes the sound is gone ... i have to close player with taskmanager couse sometimes it crashes then !!!!
does anyone has the same problem or a solution ???

I have never had any problem like that but I would recommend you to try out some other player for your movie. May be its a codec issue...

i tried another player ... same thing !!!!!
i also noticed it when i played with talking tom cat ... after a few seconds or so sound was gone also !!!!!!!!!

i did try other players ... but it was the same !!!!
do you think it is different with mobo ??
edit: from now it seems that mobo does a good job .. but i had to set it to software decoding ... hardware cousing sound off again ... further testing !!!

What are your videos encoded as? The ones I load onto the phone are .mp4's and I have no issues using the stock player.

i have the same problem with some video.
Try dice player or Vplayer Pro. These two players have solved the problem for me

I have heard Talking Tom Cat can cause this issue. Try deleting the app and do a reboot by pulling the battery.
