Appointment - Event - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

when the phone is locked and an appointment flash on the screen, you can only have ignore or postpone. but if i want to delete that? bacause if i'm going to someone (thanks to reminder) i don't need to ignore but delete.. or not? thank you for answer

That snooze system of WM is probably the most stupid part of the OS, in my opinion...
I've really would like to see someone improve that, specially the gap between snooze 1 hour or 1 day.
But I think that in your case you can just Dismiss the alarm. It will not delete the appointment itself. You would have to tap "View item" and then delete.
I really miss the "check appointment" also, since sometimes the apt is displayed even hours before it has gone...

yes you right... but i would have delete instead of ignore... because you probably have to postpone.. not ignore..

[Q] Question about Alarms on the Fuze

When I have an alarm set up, for example I have a M-F alarm to wake up for work, and the alarm goes off, it never displays any option for "Snooze" or "Disable". In fact, nothing comes on the screen at all. I have it set to repeat if I miss it, so to disable it I end up having to go into the alarms config, and turn off the alarm manually by unchecking it.
There has to be an easier way.... every other phone I've had (including my Blackjack II) has a "snooze" and "disable" option when the alarm goes off.
I know this must be obvious but I can't find it. Please help!
i havent confirmed this, but i saw this info on another forum:
http://forums.wireless.att.com/cng/board/message?board.id=cingular&thread.id=108907
alarm
i just did the alarm this morning and saw the same thing. what i did was touch the top screen with all the symbols to bring up the system menu. there was an alarm symbol. i clicked it then the soft keys changed to disable on left and menu on right. tapped menu and the options for snooze came up. clicked snooze for ten min and it went away. ten min later the alarm went off again. hope this helps.
Yup that's it exactly. I do this every weekday morning!
I can only offer that I have the same problem. I have a feeling it is similar to my problems with the phoen application and how it now works.
I feel it is touchflo 3d fault.
Correct me if I am wrong but the overlay of TouchFlo has made my device more troublesome than my 8125 on wm5.

Wow, that totally defeats the purpose of snooze, by the time i figure out how to do all that it when i'm half asleep i'll be wide awake already!
Guess the 3rd party will have to fix this.
This is another example of where basic functionality of a phone has been superseded by glitzy features.
Another thing I noticed is that the alarm will repeat a few times and then just disable itself and never go off again. There is an option buried somewhere for alarms and how many times to repeat but I think it was grayed out for no apparent reason.
I had that problem too. I ended up getting gAlarm and I'm happy with it. There is nice big snooze button as well as a stop button. I think if you turn the phone over, it will snooze too. But I'll have to verify that.
omg..i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!
i thought i was the only one that was completely lost on this...
There has to be something were missing...because going thru all those steps is alot of hassle, when ur half asleep
I'm willing to bet a dollar that most of use that rely on the Fuze alarm clock are now getting up roughly 10 minutes earlier...

True That.
I Hate it.
lmao
The built in alarms just don't cut it. If you're going to use it for getting you up so you can go to work it's worth getting a good dedicated alarm.
On my TyTn I liked pTravelAlarm:
http://www.burroak.on.ca/pta.html
On the Fuze I'm testing Klaxon:
http://www.koushikdutta.com/search/label/Klaxon
I think I slightly prefer pTravelAlarm but it's not free; when I fumble with the phone it shakes enough to shut off the alarm when I just want to snooze.
But both have nice big snooze buttons you can jab at when you're half-asleep/hungover.
Thanks guys, i'll check out some of the suggested solutions!
The popup is occurring but it is happening BEHIND TF3D. I highly recommend Klaxon. The program is a little slow and setting the time is annoying as you cant type numbers, you have to press up/down to find your numbers but it goes off and it is a nice big screen.

I need some simple reminder/alarm

I find some alatm/clock but it is so complicate with many options or they dont have option that I need.
Alarm/reminder need to be simple and have options to repeat alarm (yearly,month,weekly...), and auto repeat alert when is not see and off alarm.
And need to have list of all appointments.
thanks.
ptravelalarm is the one i've been using for a few years now
Moved as not software release.
I just want a reminder thing that actually reminds me. Any suggestions? The installed calendar fails miserably in this respect. I added Calendar Event to the phone, and that doesn't fit the bill either. I downloaded COL reminder, but it seems I need to load them all into the program, instead of it reading my calendar reminders. My WM6.1 phone did just fine with this; add an appointment or reminder, even make it repeat every other day, and it actually reminded me! At the selected time! Even Palm had this figured out.
I have tried setting different ring tones, setting it to vibrate all the time, setting test reminders between 2-30 minutes from when I type in the reminder. No consistent success. I have a cyclic reminder set for 0755 every morning to show me a Bible verse. I get pretty task saturated by then, so it's a good opportunity to stop and breathe. However, I don't see the reminder until hours later, usually when a second reminder for the day has popped up. What gives? Has anyone tried Nudnik?
Annoying isn't it? It's another one of those things that any Nokia brick from ten years ago did better. Makes you wonder if we're going forward or backwards.
isn't android already have an alarm in the clock application??

[Q] I wanna snooze the reminder for a certain time, but how?

Hi, I'm using Energy Cookie Rom, I'd like to postpone the reminder for a time period which I choose when its popped up, but I can't see any option at the reminder window, just "snooze" and "dissmiss" . Before TD2 I used to use Jam with WM 6.1 and when I press to snooze button, it used to give me a time table to snooze so that I could pick one of them. I couldnt find anything about it in calendar settings too. Any idea to help me to do it ?

Thank you very much Fighter, thats exactly was what I've been looking for.

[Q] Need app to make Google Now reminders repeat

Good morning all,
I dont know if I am an idiot or what, but I just cannot find this.
I say "Ok Google", then "Remind me to buy flowers my wife in one hour". Google Now accepts the request and schedules the reminder. About 59 minutes later, I step away from my phone to grab a soda (or am on the phone, or the phone is in my pocket and I am outside where it it noisy), and the reminder goes off *one time* and I miss that one, single, solitary reminder. Yep, I do see the reminder in my notification bar with the hand with the string on its finger.
Question: Where can I find an application that will force a repeating reminder? I've looked through a LOT of apps, and not one seems to do it. They do SMS, Phone, etc. Many even will set reminders for any "Application". But neither "Google Now" nor "Voice Search" are ever listed. This lapse makes the reminder system completely useless. Miss that one single reminder to buy flowers, and the reminder might as well say "no nookie tonight".
I would appreciate any assistance

Dismiss Upcoming Alarms

I know that the "Dismiss Now" feature exists and comes up 2 hours before an alarm, but does anyone know how I can do something like this at any time?
Specifically, I want to be able to dismiss either the next occurrence of the alarm the day before or (even better) be able to turn off/ignore alarms during specific dates or holidays or something that I specify.
Otherwise I'm stuck with having to turn off the alarm and then having to remember to turn it back on when I need it next.

You can skip next occurence or any number of future occurences.
Though its a paid app. There is a free version as well - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobitronix.gauravchauhan.alarmplus.free
