Case Quality Comparison - Nexus One Accessories

I just recieved my Innocase II Surface from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/...9?redirect=true&ref_=oss_product&a=B0036DDDCA
Though nice, at $26, pricy(please no $600 Mega phone rants) in comparison to other options, quality options, available. One such available option is the DCMUGEN casefound here: http://cgi.ebay.com/WHITE-Soft-TPU-...item45f0973454&autoredirect=off#ht_3647wt_557
Now, at 5 bucks including shipping, for a case that I have seen on other sites for quadruple the price, that sounds nice. When I am basically looking at the same quality, just a slightly different design.
Can I ask others opinions about these two cases? They seem to be the best in our lot. If anyone has both? Comparisons. If only the Dcmugen, any pros or cons on that case. And if only t innocase, any pros or cons as well.
I am thinking of returning this one and with the price difference buying two or three of the other.
Thanks in advance guys

+1 A review would be awesome.
The only place that stocks them online is eBay. This makes me suspicious straight away.
Had bad experiences with cheap batteries. We ordered one for a customers camera once, it arrived, we left it on the counter, it caught fire before we'd even taken it out of the packaging.
My advice? Steer clear. I'd certainly not put it anywhere near my phone.
I have battery from ebay for my nokia n95, psp, samsung omnia, xbox 360 controll. never had any problem with them. batterylife is not as good as orginal but they cost 10 times less.
ah too bad they only ship within UK...
why do most UK sellers do that? can't be because of the shipping costs, because those are passed on to the customer
They have sold 42 so far off that page, what I do sometimes is go into their feedback and see if someone has bought that battery from them. Then I send them a message and ask them directly if the battery is any good and if they noticed any difference in how long the phone lasts.

Monster Turbine High Performance In-Ear Speakers

Get it while it lasts, for $40 it can't be beat.

Just got mine on Amazon and very impressed, you can't go wrong for the price. Oh and buying from Monster to reduce the risk of getting fake ones like on Ebay.
I don't need to to go on and praise this IEM since there's already a thread on head-fi forum.

WOW thank you! Just ordered my own! That's amazing!
I just ordered these as well.
I'll report back later on the quality. Thanks for the heads up.
I just got mine today! They sound pretty good! I'm using a variety of different sources to determine their sound quality. They sound great on the G2 though!
damn i missed it off to ebay with the fake ones

Keyboard case with hard plastic keys UK?

I am looking for a case with built in keyboard but they must be hard plastic keys! Not the silly silicon ones.
I can't seem to find one that is compatible with the touchpad/iPad 1 for sub 40 pounds. If anyone finds one please tell me otherwise I will find myself forking out for a Zaggmate!
Thanks again
Check ebay for a used zaggmate. I got one for 40 USD in good condition..
I have emailed manufacturers like zagg, logitech, NewTrent, someone else emailed clamshell, nobody seems interested in making one for the TP especially since they aren't making anymore.
Only other option is one of those cheap-looking leather ones.. OR I was also considering just a nice case/stand around 20 dollars and the OEM keyboard been around 30 dollars.

Thanks for that mate! Yeh that's where I've been looking and I can only find one for 60gbp minimum! Whereas the one for the iPad 2 is going for 20gbp!! In multiple places too :-( so really wondering why the iPad 1 zagg mate is so expensive. I don't think it will fit a zaggmate2 will it?
http://www.zagg.com/accessories/logitech-ipad-2-keyboard-case
couldn't be sure.. have to check the dimensions of the ipad 1 vs. ipad2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275443
This thread (above) says ipad 2 is not only thinner which we knew but the length and width are slightly different. Also the keyboard on the zaggmate for ipad2 uses a logitech keyboard which looks identical to zaggkeys solo so the TP may fit better in the stand but I can't say exactly for the case because of the difference in measurements. Someone may have to just get one to try it out and let the rest of us know but with the measurement differences I would say it won't fit in the case.

hmmm wonder where might sell them near me so I can check!
EDIT saying that I have just found it going on the site I recently bought my headphones from for only £40 because the box is missing.... Am seriously considering it! Most other folio keyboard cases go for about that price on ebay....

Lack of accessories!

When I first saw the nexus 4 I was excited for the accessory possibilities. Since it is built in a similar manner as the Iphone 4/4s with glass on both sides and it was selling out everywhere I was sure the accessory manufacturers would jump on it. All I wanted since I first saw it for the iphone 4 was this bumper...

They even had one for last years arguably less popular gnex.. why aren't we seeing very many accessories for our phones?
There plenty just gotta search, if you want a high end pouch go on etsy, if you want a $10 mybat tuff hybrid case go on eBay,
Nexus 4 tandem
Also, do not forget that the iPhone 4/4s has been there for a while already (it is from June 2010), while the N4 has released just some months ago.
Yet, there are plenty of accesories, just google for them (or look here).

I live in Paris. You can get plenty of accessories from ebay, DX.com, etc in Europe.
I thought it was a question thread asking for accessories, now I see it was just to complain at Google. I really do not see the point for a thread like that.
Go ahead, buy an iPhone.

So you bought a phone that is basically a developers phone, for half of the price of any phone out there with buying and your pissed because said phone isn't selling accessories at stores that don't have the phone in the first place? The beauty of this device is the fact that it's the cutting edge of Google's software development. Google is making very little from the hardware and is not a accessory developer. Apple on the other hand is all of the above, hence 3 million different accessories for their super popular phone. Companies make accessories for popular phones, see galaxy s3, iPhone, and that's about it. Is the phone is sold by t mobile or three or who ever is selling it in the bricks and mortar stores, you should check there, but the swear off any Google products...I think they will be okay, but they will be wanting their free everything you are using back, and good luck with BlackBerry iPhone and Windows. I hope you see the humor in my comment and don't take it personally

There are a decent # of accessories but if you're expecting iPhone numbers then get an iPhone. They make millions of one phone, android is considerably more diverse.

The official bumper is in stock on the Play Store. We don't have the charging orb yet though.
There is no shortage of third party accessories on Amazon, eBay and other sites.

I haven't found one anywhere and doubt we'll see one for a while... I'm thinking about designing my own, buying a block of aluminum and taking it to the nearest maker club and milling it myself. If I do I will definitely post it here.

I tend to agree a little, to get the SlimPort cable to connect from N4 to TV is $50 minimum, if you want to charge your device while watching a movie then it's another $50 because Amazon don't ship to Australia for certain items - mainly electrical.
It sucks. I've honestly been turned off by Google since I've purchased my Nexus 4, from the debacle that was shipping times, to hardware problems with the phones and the support staff lying to me twice I was fed up with this experience.
Google didn't bother to pour millions into marketing the N4. (compare it to the iPhones and Galaxy Series) And, I'm ok with that. :good:
pissed me off really Speck declined the vote with over 1k3 votes but about to release a case for Galaxy S4. WTF?!? Incase has cases for galaxy s3, Incipio is making cases for HTC One and Nokia and the galaxy s3, Belkin is also on their way for Galaxy s4 cases. I MEAN WTF? sorry for my languages, but i've been looking for a good case so long.. even otterbox, decided not to make cases for our Nexus 4. SUPER PISSED!!!
sorry for my language guys..
Again, look how Samsung markets their Galaxy series opposed to the Nexus lineup; Basic supply and demand. :fingers-crossed:

There are plenty of other cases to choose from. If a company doesn't want to take your money that's fine, give it to a more deserving company.

Seems a bit of a trolling post, this.
Can't exactly see much of a shortage myself, what with the innovation of international shipping.
Since goods are generally cheaper in the States, you add a bit on for postage, and take a bit off due to the advantageous exchange rate, all in all it's a pretty good deal.
So I just ordered the (In my opinion.) three best accessories: official bumper, dbrand skin, and skinomi screen protector. I do love this phone and think that it will be protected well enough. I didn't start this thread to troll or imply that the iPhone is better. But damn those cheap Chinese aluminum bumpers are classy. I intended to start a conversation which accessory manufacturers might see, or somebody could point out some cool accessories that actually exist. (Which they did.) I think the arguments that the N4 is a development device and so manufacturers don't want to make accessories for it are invalid since the gnex had plenty of support from those awesome/cheap Chinese manufacturers, and more importantly, dbrand is making a killing on N4 skins. There is obviously a profitable market for N4 accessories.

I understand. But it'll come eventually. I remember there was almost nothing for the Nexus 7 mostly "Universal" fit items, generic looking TPU cases and crappy folios when it came out but now there's lots of options. Now that the supply issues are fixed for the N4 there are more items starting to come out. I think by the time I/O happens there'll be a variety of more options for the N4.

Where to buy the original flip case for Redmi note 3

I have been using this amazing device for almost 1.5 years. I bought a case alongwith the device from Mi.com, it was awesome, but after serving for all this time, it gave out and broke. I wanted to re-buy it. Couldn't find it on Mi.com (they've discontinued it) or any other selling website (all have a collection of cheap rip-offs).
Where can I buy it? Any suggestions will be welcome.
To be honest I usually look on aliexpress, but I've bought 2 completely different cases so far and they never seem to fit my phone. Always too small. Hope you can find something official though because the copies are generally terrible in my experience.
You want to search on aliexpress, but way less is available then some months ago. If you have kate device, add "152" or "pro se" to the keywords and triple check that you choose the right product. I just ordered some and hope that a part of them will fit to my device because I want to use it for a year more at least and with a right case.
The process is the same with tempered glass screen protector.
+1 for the flip cover. Xiaomi does not care for it's old customers. A new model every couple of months and as soon as it releases, it discontinues it's old products and accessories.
