the version in the dutty rom is garbage and the installer is totally screwed up
please link me to or upload jbed! the client they had in they upgrade forums did not work at all, it just said unkown and did NOTHING. please upload a mobile 6.1 compatible jbed.
I have this running on Dutty's 6.1 with Opera, no problems.

someone should make a comprehensive MUST HAVE list for dutthroy's 6.1 plug in. just because their are so many add-ons and it would be nice to see someone who is experienced compile a list

Hi, I just followed Karhoe's step by step guide to install WM6 on my Qtek 8310.
Everything seems fine, but I can't seem to find the midlet manager? Is java included in the rom usedin his guide?

I'm not sure which ROM he's promoting in his guide (which is superb by the way!)... but I'm using GnatGoSplats WM6.1 Clean edition and that has Java installed as standard. Very stable and fast ROM too.
Windows Mobile does not have any Java support by default, so you either have to get a rom that has Java or you need to find some cab with that.
Where to install java?
I see... can someone point me in the right direction where to install java on my device? I'd like to run opera mini.....

Which one? Your Smartphone/PDA probably has CF .NET 1.1 or 2.0 already in the ROM.
Run \WINDOWS\CGACUTIL.EXE , it will pop up a windows with the installed version(s) in it.
Others must be downloaded and installed from Microsoft
