java midlet manager - Jeodek - General Topics

Hello!
in my previous phone,
there are a java midlet manager call "Jeodek" preinstalled.
I can use it to run all the games and apps i used.
However, after i buy another phone, which don't have jeodek preinstalled,
can't run some of the apps....
I have tried to use other midlet manager according to the "midlet bible",
include jbed, jbled, etc. but there are still some apps i can't run ,eg having out of memory error in JBed.
So I have tried to find the JEODEK on the internet.
But all the version that i found, do not support touch screens, or do not support network...
So, I wonder if anyone can suggest some ways for me to get a JEODEK which with touch screen supported + network supported??
Really need help.... thx...

MIDlet Manager news; anyone from Esmertec, Aplix or IBM?

With the recent release of Opera Mini 4 beta 2 (see the review, which has even been frontpaged by SmartphoneThoughts, HERE), which, in many respects, even better than Opera Mobile, the, so far, best Windows Mobile browser, Opera Mobile got a really serious contender.
Now, some really bright people have found out how individual MIDlets under the latest-and-greatest MIDlet Manager (the environment that runs MIDlets, including Opera Mini), Jbed by Esmertec, can be made run directly, via a direct link in, say, your Programs folder. This vastly reduces the time needed to start Opera Mini, and might also offer (I haven’t tested this as yet - it certainly works with IBM J9, another MIDlet manager) some other goodies - for example, making Opera Mini for the default, system-wide browser. That is, when you for example click a link in a HTML mail (or, click a file in the file system), Opera Mini will be automatically invoked and the link target (or, the file) rendered. Please see THIS page for more information.
Speaking of other MIDlet Managers, a lot has happened to TAO Intent MIDlet Manager as well. Well-known XDA-Developers hacker “Risidoro” has managed to 1, fix the “one shot” security problem of the, so far, only .1034 version of TAO Intent; 2, create a CAB file of an even more up-to-date (.1036) version of this MIDlet Manager. The latter works flawlessly and also has the ability to be installed to a storage card (which, so far, only the Russian hacked .1023 versions were capable of). Upgrading to it is highly recommended if you want to stay with TAO Intent (because, for example, of its M3G (3D) capabilities, which not even the latest Esmertec Jbed offers.) Please see THIS thread for more information.
Hopefully, Risidoro also manages to create a decent installer of another MIDlet manager, Jblend by Aplix, which comes with devices like the Sharp Zero, the Samsung BlackJack and sports pretty unique capabilities; for example, M3G (3D) support. See the THIS thread for more info.
Second, a request. Does anyone work for Esmertec, Aplix or IBM? Please tell the folks to read their mail - I won’t publish my long-promised MIDlet Bible before I am able to discuss all the related questions (most importantly the OEM-only issue of Jbed‘s / Jblend‘s, the two best and most standards-compliant MIDlet manaers today). If my mails (I’ve sent them last Sunday) are lost, I’m ready to re-send them. Feel free to mail me at werner_AT_remove_th1s_pocketpcmag_d0t_com.
My 503g comes with Esmertec and I like it. It has been very stable with everything I run especially the new Opera Mini Beta.
Now you are saying I can install the newest version of JBed on top of Esmertec and it will work better, or am I misunderstanding you?
Thanks.

Yup. see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326951
Cool, thanks. This does work better.
The Esmertec folks have answered my mail - that is, I only need Aplix and IBM to do the same.

New Version of Google Maps a Java add-on?

I needed to reinstall it so I found the link online and downloaded it and it installed through Esmertec JBed. This version doesn't have GPS compatibility. Thankfully, I was able to find the old CAB version and install that, which does.
Why would they do that?
As is mentioned in my MIDlet Bible, there's a native WM version of GM, which you should always prefer to the Java one

WM6.1 + Manilla 2D for HTC Wizard (mine is QTEK 9100, like Wizard)

I know how customize and basic programing, but I can't know how use the OPERATOR and the FAVERS.
1- Where i found one "Manilla 2D how to"?
2- How I can use home plug-ins like batery monitor, or touch shell? I use the Touch Flow Detacher, but i can't config plug-ins! (M2DC and M2D Dev is instaled too)
3- No one jar or jad files run under MIDlet Manager, have one best java running enviroment to run java under wm6.1 I create one appz in java mobile and run into java device emulator, but don't run into real device with MIDlet Manager? (SUPERWABA VM is instaled too)
4- CAUTION ALL have one trojan running into devices with WinMobile, I was invaded when I reinstal my antivirus today, the S.M.F. (seek m... f...) delet all my storage card, but my W.M.D.C. (Windows Mobile Device Center) restore all files, but i needed reinstall all appz.
LONG LIVE A FREE WORLD, DAMNED ALL TROJANS AND MALWARES PLAGES, AND ITS CREATORS.

new java midlet manager

Hi All!
I have tried a lot of midlet manager,
include JBed, JBlend, Jeodek, etc,
and I found that some java applications which consume a lot of memory,
makes the midlet manager fail to run (throws OutOfMemory error)
Only Jeodek, don't have this problem!
I found that it can run other java applications which other midlet manager can't!
However, after i buy another phone,
the new phone don't have the jeodek preinstalled >.<
I have tried many links on the internet, but all the version i found, are those issued before 2008, which do not support touch screens...
So I wonder, did anyone have a Jeodek which have network and touch screens support, or anyone can suggest a better midlet manager or jre, instead of JBed and Jbled? (I have read through the midlet bible...but can't find a good one...)...please help>.<
