I am a IT developer and recently been having some free time at my workplace. I would really like o desing some themes for WM 6.5.X but I donot know how to . I f some can point me to some guides or tools , would be much appreciated. I tried googling it but couldnt find anything really useful.

im new to this forum and i like to read some threads here from timt 2 time.
And since i got my own pocket pc, i wondered if anybody could help me with a question.
The Windows Mobile Version of mine is a spanish one. And i would lik to have an english version of it. Is it somehow possible to install a language packet or to get another version of WM?
I hope you guys can help me with this. I know this isnt exactly a pocket-pc-forum, but maybe you know something.
Ill tried to search the web, but i got no result

Just like Windows desktop OS's, you must reinstall the OS to change the language.
It's not an easy process if you are not familiar with your device. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a forum devoted to your device. You should find a lot of information there.

I can read as much as possible and i dont fear the work
And because im not very familiar with my pda, i think it will be some work to me....

i studied years ago turbo pascal but i figured that programing languages basically have similar flows?
i will like to seek advise from pros on how do i get started?
can i
1) know what programing language or tools do i need?
2) know what are the usual errors or problems so that my climb will be easier?
i am really sincere and i hope the pros can take some time to advise me...

I would say, the easiest way to do some application pgrogramming, is to use the Visual Studio 2008(Tool) and C#(language). The platform is .Net framework 3.5.
You can download the latest Windows Mobile emulators, and use it along with Visual studio to test and debug your programs. Once you are satisfied with the program, you can build the cab using Visual Studio(which you can install on the real windows mobile device).
Please post specifics if you need more info. I am sure most of the poeple here are willing to help!

Nope. Solely WYSIWYG won't get you anywhere.
But you can use it. For example the CompactFramework.Net (CF.Net) has a WYSIWYG interface, but the underlying functionality you'll have to write yourself.

i have a question...i searched with google and at all sites i know about ppcs....but there ate no themes for wimo 6.5 ??? and i thought thats wired? is there no way of creating a theme for that? or does anyone here know a site?

is there any customizer for the home screen? like for touch flo?
because i saw one ROM which had weather and the other one im using has none? and now i would lik to have this weather thing but i dont need the musik or pictures thing...?...
anyone can help my with that?

Try searching for CHome. I assume it is the home screen you are hoping to modify. It would help you a lot if you searched on the program's name, rather than something as generic as windows mobile 6.5 themes. "Windows mobile 6.5 themes" would probably mean .tsk files, anyway, so you were WAY off, man...

...are there any for this device? I've downloaded a number that operate but are no good due to the Touch 2 being touchscreen only. There must be some - its windows 6.5!

¿Whats wrong? maybe your answer... There isn´t any professional on this forum, only people willing to learn and help others with their experience, if none of them knows how to help you it is normal if they do not post here.
next time try to give more info about our problem, which rom version are you using, radio, language of your rom,... that will help others who want to help you.
