I got my hands on the Greek firmware from qtek.gr with a friend's IMEI and installed as is desribed in the forum with the use of MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe. (from French to Greek)
After the upgrade was finished and I resetted the qtek I got a message saying something about Illigal ROM and this the property of ACE HELLAS....
Now everytime I turn on my pocket pc it just resets after a while. I don't even get in the main interface. It resets after it shows the little red numbers on the right corner. (WWE etc)
I would really appreciate some help in this matter. I was given the s100 as a gift from a French friend and haven't been using it for a few months now because I was trying to translate it to Greek. (the greek company could not help either )
Basically you're scr*wed. The Greek firmware has some extra checks in it & that's what you're experiencing now. You need to revert to another firmware to get your device functioning again. To do this download a shipped-rom, put your device in bootloader & flash. See the wiki for more complete instructions.

Sure explore the magician part, especially the howto on rom upgrading via exe-file via this link http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Magician on that page are links to several shipped-roms (exe-files) too, just pick a current one. WWE mean World Wide English & 1.13 is the most recent one.

Btw I couldn't find version 113 at the xda ftp.

And the whole menu has some strange pink and grey colours and stuff like that.
Can I revert it back to windows?

So it's alive again
Just change the today theme 'start -> settings -> today' to Windows default. You can delete the T-mobile theme *.tsk from \windows on your device to spare some RAM afterwards.

You wouldn't know how to get rid of all those T-Mobile logos from everywhere or bring the little icons (for contacts etc) that T-mobile put in my phone now would you...?
They came with the ext-rom. Did you notice the Customizing pop-up just after you finished the initialization? You can skip that part by soft-resetting your device just before the pop-up shows. So hard-reset again & after the message 'tap the screen to begin using your device' you soft-reset when the default blue Windows wallpaper shows.
Now you got a plain 2k3 device!
The T-Mobile today-plugin can be switched off via 'start -> settings -> today -> items' & uncheck what you don't like. Doesn't work for the intelli-dialer though.
So start resetting...

I have set up Greek in the localization option and the date appears in Greek.
This little button appears on the left side of the keyboard near Shift that looks like it should have Greek on it. When I press it all those wierd symbols appear.
And yes that is the Greek t9 I guess.
btw how do I soft-reset the phone? by just pressing the reset button underneath the phone?
And hard-reset by pressing the On/Off button and the reset button?
You're right about the way to soft-&hard-reset. The opt.symbol button is for special characters, not all necessarily Greek.
Probably the true Greek rom gives you proper Greek, but then we're back to the beginning :-(

I found a software from microsoft that translates and offers Greek keyboard. i might buy that.

How do you install the two files you have attached to the thread?
Just copy them to your S100 and browse with the file explorer to the cab files and click them.

Quastions:
1: Can i use HTC made WM 6.1 roms?
2: Can it take dmg if i use other roms then my own HP IpaQ 614 roms?
3: I need a swedish xt9 for my ipaq (tryed several, non working, i'll try anything you think might work)

You will brick your phone if you try and load a rom not made for your phone.
Try group sms for sending sms messages to mass groups of people.

also, try going to www.cootek.com and check their forum for a swedish language pack for TouchPal 3.5...

I don't know about the xt9 you'll just have to try some different programs, you'l just have to find something compatible. This is an htc forum and thats what i'm familiar with, i don't know to much about ipaq's (hp) (much less a swedish version )

Simply answer is to just reinstall the cab program. You 'll have to do some searching to find it if this is not in your library of cabs.
I think that this cab isn't on the phone? ;] It will be hard to find it. I need it in polish language.

Flash with 6.1 final version - after flash I can't start device. Start proces is still on screen with logo and version (iPAQ 500 Series Voice Messenger 2.05.00 0.76)

Yes, menu and somethings are in english. Some program are in Rusian, but no problem. Good work.
I had problem with PIN, I pressed some many buttons on device. After that i chose English and PIN and everything work corectly.

Hey Could Someone Upload the wm6.1 rom and the russian rom to a non Ftp Static Links, Reason is Internet Cost here in S.A are off the charts no jokes so iv manage to get free internet nomally no matter what i typed id get redirected to a url that tells me i must recharge my sim with credit i managed to bypass that by using the taget site ip as my proxy and typing in the url of the redirection and it takes me not to the recharge site but the target ip url now most sites bring up apache succes page so im left with web proxy sites thats how im able to browse could someone upload it to eg www.megaleecher.com www.megaftp.com www.hotlinkfiles.com thanks

Is it possible to find somewhere a original software (Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional) for HTC Touch Diamond... When I got this phone it was this software but on Dutch languange, and my friend installed me a WM 6.5 but it was too slow... I want that software where I can again choose different type of keyboards, and not be able to write messages only with my pen, I want to use my fingers to write text! I want again that keyboard on screen which you can choose from messages menu. Sorry if I made mistakes in text, my English is not so good!
