how do you edit themes

what program do you use to edit/create themes for wm6?

A .tsk is just a special type of .cab. Any program that can pull apart and put together a cab can do this. Inside you have stwater.bmp and maybe tdywater.bmp graphic images (possibly multiple versions for different screen resolutions) and registry entries for font color and stuff.
Search here and on google for stwater tdywater and you'll find more info.

can you point me in the right direction to change the image of the unlock screen?

First link it to original by MS, second is add on by SPB

I believe that is the BatteryStatus screen lock. Try asking Ikarus over in the BS thread and he could tell you how to edit that screen.

Guys...can I get HTC Home for VGA Screen ?

i think that htc home work well only with realvga (96dpi i think, correct me if i'm wrong)
but if you want to download it, you can download it here:http://www.4shared.com/file/28269629/d0d776da/HTC_Home_ExtraNewForce_QVGA.html <--QVGA version, (i think that vga version does not exist)
I can't find the link for realvga right now, but you can search on forum

It only works in 96dpi realvga, there is no 128 or 192 (vga) version

I'm using it in 128DPI and its working great.

try rlToday, its a fantastic program/today plugin.

The suggestions here do not seem to work.
So far I tried the settings in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color\[1-40]
In WM 6.5 only 4 and 9 seem to work as expected.

Maybe you could try opening startmenugridscene.cpr and edit the text colour manually.

Hi,
in my case I had to edit
StartMenu_GridScene_800x480.cpr and StartMenu_GridScene_480x800.cpr
instead of startmenugridscene.cpr but it was the right suggestion.
(Im using the NATALY 4.9 kitchen for topaz btw.)
