Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has done any mod to the calendar by adding a list of schedule of the day at the bottom a la iphone style. I find it quite annoying sometimes to have to click into the day to find out what's happening that day. Is there a mod like that exists? If not then can I suggest the experts here may want to give that a try?

Hi,
I've been searching for a call/sms/e-mail notification widget (currently i'm using MissedIt!) which will show also details about the contact who called or messaged me. I can't find any application this kind. MissedIt! is the best so far, but it missed one important feature for me.
Can anyone help me find such an application, i would be thankful
Go to applications and select widget cattegory in the market lol.
When using the calendar in sensation, when you say click on the day 20/10/11 and side swipe to the 21/10/11 and add an appointment it defaults to the 20/10/11 and not the day you are viewing.
This is incredibly annoying and was not present in previous editions of the calendar in sense ie Desire HD or Desire Z froyo or gingerbread.
HTC say this is a feature and not a bug. It does not make "sense" to go into a day make an appointment then come back out of that day and then go into the next day and so on. When previously you could just swipe left or right and add an appointment on the new day.
Also when selecting the date from the scroll wheels the day would be nice to show like in previous editions of sense. I am thrilled with my sensation but these niggles annoy me and its frustrating using the calender for work.
Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone have a fix? I have used the search feature and not found anyone else with the issue.
Hi,
I would have posted this in the Codename Android thread but since I'm a new user it seems I'm forced to clog up this forum. Sorry.
Anyway, I just upgraded from Codename Android 3.6.6 to 3.8.0. It's good but they seem to have removed one of the notification centre power widgets - there used to be two and now the one I was using isn't there any more. The other one does the job but isn't as customisable and the 2g/3g toggle doesn't seem to work.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me obtain an apk for the power widget, or alternatively recommend me one that is customisable and has a 2g/3g toggle that isn't just a settings shortcut.
Thanks in advance!
there are numerous applications that can be found in google play.
Did a 10 second search and found this, which seems really nice

Thanks, but I've actually tried that one before and it doesn't have a 3G toggle. I was kind of hoping someone would just whip out an apk from an older version...
Would it be possible for me to lift the feature from an older version of CNA, and install it on this? Or would I have to program something? I can't really do that...
Hi everyone.
i hope this is the right place..
i´m searching for an app that can add a video as a widget. the goal behind this is that i´m using launcher wp8 and want to add a widget tile to a single video and when clicking on it, the video should play directly in the widget (tile)
Not sure if I can be of any help, but I briefly installed MoboPlayer since somebody else posted about it and it looked nice. I promptly uninstalled it (didn't like it) but in the little intro/tutorial thing, it said that it could do this. I didn't look into it as the feature didn't interest me, but I do recall it saying that. Might be worth looking into. In any case, good luck.
Try super video floating popup

So I've been giving KitKat a go today and so far I'm not 100% convinced.
While some things have improved, others have changed for the worse.
Or I'm just too stupid to find the proper settings?
1. The Email app
It finally got some love - Google has been working on it.
BUT - I can't select all emails in one account at once? Seriously? The app just downloaded 54 emails after setting it up and now I have to tap every single one of them to mark them as read?
Somebody please tell me I'm missing something here.
2. The sidebar for the apps that was introduced in Jellybean has disappeared. It wasn't an overly useful feature, but I did like it.
3. Contacts
I have yet to find a way to remove or at least reduce the size of the contact pictures.
Also, to remove a contact, you have to open it first. There's no menu when you tap and hold a contact anymore.
What changes do you guys like/dislike?
Did anybody come acrossed the above mentioned and found solutions?

I know. It's a little annoying. But the smart RAM Management is good.
I am okay with all of these as long as I get 4GB of Internal Storage....
I haven't missed the sidebar, it's still there. Unless we're talking about a different sidebar

I'm talking about the one in the apps screen, the one you get when you swipe to the left. It allows to change the order and uninstall apps. I haven't seen it in the Kitkat builds from AOSP for XL.

You haven't seen it as this feature is in launcher not the rom itself.
Try installing Sony Launcher from 4.2.2 and you will have it.
Alright, I thought about that but haven't looked into it.
Thanks
Does anybody know how to get rid of the avatars in the contacts?
