[08-Mar-2010] Co0kie's Home Tab - NEW ALIGNMENT (Side By Side) for 1.6.1 [Outdated!]

WORKING WITH 1.6.1 ONLY!
NOT WORKING WITH 1.7!
Since the last new alignment-mod for c0okies home tab went unnoticed due the many pages of the thread, I'm opening a new thread.
This Mod is based on Co0kie's Home Tab 1.6.1. It has to be installed prior to one of the files attached to this post. -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=625483
I changed the alignment on the homescreen and did some minor changes to some lua scripts, rest is of course c0okiemonsters work as you all know and love it!
Four modifications:
a) Circle page indicators only
[DOWNLOAD]
b) Clock and weather side by side alignment
[DOWNLOAD]
c) Clock and weather side by side alignment oldschool
[DOWNLOAD]
d) Flat/no-flip clock, weather on top, oldschool, page indicator bottom
Note: This version still has the same bug as before. When manila starts, the clock will be in the middle of the page (in front of the appointments). Sliding up (show all quicklinks) and down again, will solve this with most manila versions. However, this seems to be dependent on which Sense version you're using. This means, some might encounter this bug, some might not and for others swiping up, will not solve the problem. Only possibility to know how it will work with your version, is trying out ...

Strange ... Might be depending on the Manila version. Removed the bugged version and will see if I can fix it.

maybe clock should be on the left and weather on the right in the same height--because these screenshots look little bit like beta..
I think it should look like Advanced Home Tab for Co0kie's Home Tab 1.5.4

Hulzer will upgrade his mod, based on this one. So check his thread for any updates.

You must re-install CoOkies 1.6 (at this stage the soft only uninstall itself), then, after the required reboot, install it again and, after the second reboot, everything will be back like before you install new alignment!

Where is the no Flip cab?

There is one bug with the No-flipclock version. When Manila is starting, the clock appears in the center of the homescreen. to solve that, you have to swipe up once and than swipe back down. Clock is now where it is supposed to be. Didn't want to track the bug down at this hour ... and since its only a problem directly after softreseting the device, I'm posting it anyways.
The problem is, that swiping up (to show all quicklinks) and down again, doesn't seem to solve the problem for everyone - so I deleted it.
However, I attached it to this post - if you want to try it. Couldn't solve the problem yesterday, so no fix for now.

Still fairly new to this so please report any bugs/problems so i can fix them, I'll happily take some requests to keep me busy
All my clocks a tested before hand on my device (Manila 2.5.2012).
How to Install
1. To use the analog clocks make sure you install Co0kie's Home Tab v1.7.1+ and CHTEditor.
2. Download the zip or CAB file containing the clock you would like to use. Install the CAB file on to your phone. If the zip file only contains _manila files like:
0ab9c3f4_manila (Hour Hand)
2a87d392_manila (Sec Hand)
4bdfba48_manila (Min Hand)
20f62884_manila (Clock Face)
7126e342_manila (Clock Dot)
Copy these files to your Windows directory on the device (Not the SD card) using a program like Resco Explorer, Total Commander or something similar.
Some clocks contain a modified 7c60907d_manila file to modify the position of the clock hands or enlarge it, after uninstalling a clock, using this file you should run Original_7c60907d_manila[1].cab to install the original version of it.
3. Restart your phone or sense, there are a few ways to do this but I find the easiest is to use this exe to restart manila. Then you should have a new clock.
4. To uninstall go start, settings, system, remove programs then find the clock to uninstall. Again either restart the phone or sense.
NOTE: The Clocks Stealth/2, Zenith, Master Home Time and Ebel, Remove AM/PM and all clocks with off centered hands or AM/PM won't work with Co0kies Home Tab 1.8

I can only test them on the HD2 so not much I can do sorry. You need Cookies Home Tab to use analog clocks, I don't even know if its available for the Tilt 2.

Requirements and Compatibility:
Must have MaxSense Installed
Instructions:
Download the cab and run it on your device.
If you have a problem installing it, try turning off Sense (All Settings -> Today), installing the cab and then turning Sense back on.

There a way to get your setup home page without doing everything manually? I want it to look exactly the way you have it in the pics but having a hard time getting it to look like that manually or without it taking forever

All credits for co0kie monster, i have just modified a bit to increase the area of the widget and add multiline property. Link to the Co0kie RSSReader Widget

UPDATE 10Nov2010: have been added 3 diferents layouts for the widget: 3-4-5 lines so it can be better addapted to your screens. I have tried with more lines but there is no more information loaded by RSSReaderService.dll so its not useful.
Also, i realize i did use an old RSSReader widget version (v.092) instead the released v.095 so i apologize for the inconveniences. This new updated cab is based on the 0.95, hope it works better
EDIT 14 Nov: Uploaded a new verssion of RSSReader_resizable including a new .dll hope it will be avoid and /or solve some problems:
Co0kie_Master> I've updated the setup.dll for addon widgets. You don't need to replace the dll in your existing widgets - it's not critical. And everything is still compatible with all version. Just use the new dll for your future projects or updates.
The new dll has an additional safeguard to make sure the same widget can't be installed twice - this will only happen if the install is interrupted half way. (So far this has only happened with the RSS widget.) Nothing critical, just remember to use this new dll in the future.

UPDATE 23DEC2010: Small update. By installing this cab the color of the text can be changed in the registry HKLU\Software\HTC\Manila\CHT.RSS.ColorText. By default is set white color (255,255,255) No need uninstall-reinstall the RSSReader Widget, just install Poyensa RSSReaderWidgetUpdateTextColor.cab, in fact this property is not included in the RSSReader widget cab. It should work with all versions of RSSReader Widget (co0kie's original & resizable)

UPDATE 15MAY: CHANGE FONTS!
I finally got working the function :SetFontPath() so now we can easily change font in CHTwidget RSS, and more will come I have also added a few more setting, mainly FontSize and RSS height for you to adapt this widget to your home screen. Download in post#1 and enjoy! feedback always appreciated.

Do you mean when you try to install poyensa's version you get an error? If so, try installing it again and this time when it gives you the error message tap "ok". It should then ask you if you want to reset. Tap cancel. Lastly it will ask you if you want to install. Tap "Yes". Lastly soft-reset and you're done.

But it's not working for me. It just shows "Launch RSSReader".
I uninstalled the old one, softreset, installed your reader, softreset.
It doesn't show the feeds.
What can I do ?

The changes i have done in the RSSReader are not in the core of the widget. If the original from co0kie do works this should also work as i dont modify at all the RSSReaderService.dll nor the regitry entrances. I do just minor changes in the outloooking of the widget.
Anyway i will have a look later when i get home.

ok need some troubleshooting here... been using cookies home tab and the editor since i got my hd2 and adore the tweak and won't live without it... but i seen that cookies home tab and the editor had a 2.0 beta so i upgraded. i also did the update for the ROM from tmobile. since I've done this my touchscreen randomly stops working and often I'm stuck on the lock screen (which BTW i love the modified version you provided) ok to get to the skinny of it....is the beta conflicting with the upgrade and of so what doi need to do (other than uninstalling it or going back to the old one? i really like the new version) i
have only these two and marketplace along with yalls WiFi router program on my phone. let me know what other info you need.

Based on Poyensa's Widgets and with the help of Poyensa I've made this CHT2.0 Barcode Clock Widget (the fifth one of many I hope to make) and I'd like to share it with you guys in this great family that still believing in WinMo.

The Barcode Clock Widget shows the Time and Date in barcode format. the Barcode Clock is a Standalone widget so it should be compatible with any other CHT widget and fully CHTS integration, it is resizable, pinnable, uninstalable, and includes a setting menu (Credit and BIG Thanks to "El Maestro" Poyensa), by pressing on it you get access to a pop-up menu, where you can make quick setting changes like horizontal/vertical position, text color, text size, text x/y position, etc.
Installation:
Install JMLMenuSense.v1.60.cab (or higher). If you have installed JMLMenuSense previously no need to install it again.
Install the attached CHT2.0 JdplaBarcode Clock Widget .cab in device and soft reset.
CHT Menu> edit mode> add widget > Barcode Clock Widget.
Maybe you wont see anything, dont worry...just click OK and then touch the upper-left side of the screen and the setting pop-up will open...then adjust as you taste...Very Important, the font are: for Time, \windows\JdplaTimeFont.ttf and for Date, \windows\JdplaDateFont.ttf
Enjoy!
Uninstall:
CHT Menu> edit mode> add Widget > Barcode Clock Widget > Unchek (Dissable the widget).
Setting > Application > Remove programs > select [email protected] JdplaBarcode Clock > click Remove > Soft reset device.
Disclaimer:
Manila/Sense on many (cooked and stock) ROMs with many versions is sometimes very fragile, So you install this on your own risk, bla, bla, bla ...Please, make a backup before installing!
I have tested the widget in my HTC HD2 and it works fine, I hope it works well on yours too.

Lol, yeah, I know but you have to play with element positions a little bit and one by one, just start with time (hour) posX=3 posY= -100, and move next element (minute) and next (AM/PM) etc............and when you got all elements in X's position then move all (one by one) to posY= 0 to get it on widget center
