Calender showing week numbers - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello,
I have been searching for a while now with no luck. Maby one of you knows,
I am looking for a calender, or actualy a calender mod, so that the manila calender on my hd2 in month view also show what week it is.
Example, right now it is week 8, or the end of it. so in month view I would like to have the number 8 infront of this weeks row, and a 9 infront (or actually to the left) of next week and so on. Do I make any sense?
Anyone knows how I can make this happen?
best regards Johan

I would be thakful for the same thing

if you do not insist of Manila calender to do so, you can try to use PortablePIM.
The software can be switched to English under options (the light blue icon)

Thanks for the help,
I will try it and see how it works. It would be nice to have it in manila though...

Please...
Can someone make a mod for Us all...
I have asked the same question to HTC support... last month and still no answer from them.... shame,

News anyone
Hello,
Just wanted to post the question again.
Anyone seen any progress in this area?
I think it would be really nice to have the week number in the calender.

I agree. It's a weekly pain in the ass when at workplace we're deciding the next occassion for a meeting and the suggestions are almost always in "How about the Tuesday morning in week XX" format. I always have to ask what date are you talking about as my Sense calendar isn't able to display the week number in any of the available views.

I also want one :-D
I would be much more thankful if there is also a little Moon icon which says half/full moon etc. and, that would be best, a possibility to import holidays.
All that i a way that it is not shown in the agenda but only in the calendar itself

A app for HTC sense showing week numbers would be very nice.
I now use a quick link to the Windows calendar to look up the week numbers

ThumbCal
I found an application called thumbcal that seem to work well. The only sad part is that you need to buy it...

I prefer Aganda One - but you also have to pay for it...

I would like week nrs. in hTC Calendar as well, meanwhile i look into WM Calendar:

I'm searching for a voice-notetaking program ??

Hello together
I try to explain what I'm looking for:
During the day there is often the need to make a short voicenotice of an idea or an task. For that there a several progs on the market.
But I want to use the left and right softkey for two diff. additional things:
one Softkey in a way to bring up the voicenotice in 5 or 15 or whatever minutes or in an hourback as a reminder with alarm.
the second softkey to bring the voicenotice as a task or date in my calander for the next day or next week. Selection on the softkeys by dropdowns.
I think these efforts are useful in the daily work of my Treo and perhaps also for some other people here in the forum.
Who knows a proggy or better a person to create such a proggy.
Thx in advance.
I think BugMe might do something similar to this.

Thx for response
Yes, it's a little bit on the way, but the calenderinput isn't effective.
Is there nobody than me how's really interrested in such a proggy. I'm the only one, who needs this fuction ??
I'm still hoping ;-)

Palm OS:s Calendar on Windows Mobile?

Since i started using Windows Mobile phone i have been realising how simple a fast Palm OS is. Especially the Calendar in Palm.
Is there a way to use Palm OS:s Calendar on Windows Mobile?

(big sigh...)
I wish there was a way! I miss the Palm Calendar, and even more: I miss DTBK5!!!
Unfortunately I believe the answer is no.
Y.
ive tried so many different calendar applications for ppc but none of them really can take Palms place...
wonder if someone can make a rip of Calendar from Palm Os. Im already enjoying Treos great threaded sms.
I've noticed that the PalmOS Agendus calendar program is now available on PocketPC, so perhaps that brings a bit of the PalmOS style calendar to the Windows world?
Peter, thank for the tip.
Checked it out. It doesnt look as Palm Calendar at all. Its just...too much.
The simple yet smart Palm Calendar...fast and few clicks.
i guess ive become one of those nostalgic ex Palm users nagging about WM.
Yet theres still hope. Im sure someone can make a copy someday.

Nik, yes - I understand. My wife uses a Palm Treo 680 and really likes the calendar app. It does look good, and fast. I've never cared for the WM calendar app much myself. The calendar entry form is OK, it is the views that I don't like much. I tried Pocket Informant but (IMhO) it is way too complex for my needs.
I use SBSH's PocketBreeze now. It is not a calendar but rather a Today screen plug in for the Calendar. So you still use the default Calendar to add appts, but you can use PB to view everything. It is quite powerful yet simple.

couldn't agree more.
I installed the trial version of Agendus and I find it too busy and cluttered. Almost unusable on the 750's screen. I think I will give it another day and then uninstall it.
Happy to join you club of ex Palmers winging about WM...

Thumbcal problem

Hi
At first time sorry for my bad english. Im from spain and i have to improve it.
OK, I've installed thumbcal 1.2.5, with manila2d.
My problem is that I want manila's home shows me when I have an appointment. For example, If i have to do an exam on wednesday, I want manila shows me that appointment on sunday, for example, and NOT the previus day, tuesday.
Thumbcal dont notify me with enought time... only notify me the previus day...
I dont know if you have understand this, well... i hope yes, or i will have to use a translator hahaha
Thanxs
uuuuuuuuuuuup
reeeeeeeeeeuuuuup
I'll try to help but I only use Thumbcal and not Manilla2D.
What it looks like is happening is that the Manilla 2d calendar/appointments screen is only showing the current day's appointments. I use S2U2, and it has an option to show events for 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, and more. I would think M2D would have the same setting but, not knowing the program, I have no idea where you would look for that option.
One easy workaround is to set a reminder for 3 days early on each appointment. It won't be a constant visual reminder that your looking for but it will at least popup and bring it to your attention.
Ok Gramon.
I've understand you.
Thanks!

Need better freeware calendar application

Sorry if this was posted already in any form somewhere else.
If so, please point me to the right thread and then lock this one...
I'm sooo pissed at default calendar application in WM 6.1 Pro.
This is what I get (attached screenshot, Screen03.jpg):
What I SHOULD see there are 2 birthdays on 2009-03-06, one on 2009-03-10, one on 2009-03-12... you get the picture?
I want to see lunch on 2009-02-28 AND multi-day event 2009-02-28/2009-03-01...
Not to mention that if I have 2 or more meetings on the same day, I want to see how many meetings I have... Not that just see meeting...
Is there such freeware calendar application?
You can try the free version of ThumbCal. You can find it in the forum of the website.
http://thumbapps.com/
This is the wrong place for questions.
Please refer to the Q&A section.
Thank you
Que?
Ups! Double post!
Que?
I think this is the Q&A section
Try the TodayAgenda as well. It's totally freeware.
Tried ThumbCal, and that's not what I need/seek.
TodayAgenda is nice, but also not what I need/seek.
Thanks for pointing to that software, anyway...
Currently S2U2 shows much needed info on locked screen, but S2U2 is no calendar application...
I can only think of a few calendar applications.. none will fit the EXACT description.. and some will show other things...
Thumbcal can be used for weekview where you can show all appointments on the same week
HgToday/HgAgenda are today plugins and stand alone appointment/task viewers
Calendar+... also a today plugin, and you can choose how many rows/appointments to show

[REQ]More days in Agenda view...

Hi happy HD2 users,
In Calendar, we can choose different view : Day, Week, Month, Year... and Agenda.
In Agenda view, there is only the next 7 days!!!
Is there a way to have more days (say 30)?
i would be very interested in having this too!!
If anyone can help with this, i would be very interested too !!!!
I'd quite like this too.
is this what the hotfix is about on the htc site?
+1
Would be great to have more than 7 days displayed.
30 days are great.
I agree ! Plus it would be great to see more than 1 appointment on the home screen... cheers ,Happy Christmas all.
Yeah !!! I NEED more days in Agenda view !!! I'm (was, sigh) a great fan of SPB Diary but it doesn't work on HD2 ....
Please !!!! Any suggestion/trick ??
Regards from Italy !
Happy new year folks
what I done is to set instead of SenseAGENDA.
I used SSMaho to do that.
So, when I click on CALENDAR in the HomeToday of Sense, it's open PocketInformant AGENDA with 35 days (or 10, or 50, what I choose in settings).
And, wahooo, it's great and presentation is very useful.
could u post some screens?
hi,
and a click on SenseCalendar open PocketInformant AGENDA, with 30 days in the slide
