I'm creating a separate thread for the morph version because we'll be updating independently. Brandenk has kindly provided me with all the resources he uses for his theme, so there will be times where I'll be able to get the morph done before he's had a chance to do the full theme update.

Kspec v1.1 restores the black background to the "apply/cancel" buttons in several apps (vending, browser, etc) and fixes several bugs. v1.1 also adds theming for text entry boxes, and other small details. Kspec 1.0 slims everything down considerably. A lot of extraneous, unchanged resources have been removed from the morph. I strongly recommend flashing stock CyanogenMOD before you flash v1.0 if this isn't your first time flashing Kspec.

My favorite part of this theme is the battery icon, so I've gone ahead and made a morph for that piece only! This should work with ANY theme, ANY mod, so long as the resource names for the battery haven't been changed (and I can't imagine anyone would do that). This will DEFINITELY work on any minor revision of CM5. Enjoy!

Looks like we accidentally included a bunch of images from Launcher2 that didn't actually change. I'll get in touch with brandenk and see exactly which files I can bounce.
EDIT: The reason it was coming in at 20mb was because it included ALL of the wallpapers in Launcher2.apk. Some of them were changed for this theme, so I'm going to do the following:
I'm updating the morph to contain ONLY the wallpapers that have changed (this will knock about 10mb off the size of the zip).
I'm also posting a morph which does not contain the alternative wallpapers. This morph will be much smaller.

I should be able to do that. I'm not an actual themer, just repackaged this theme for metamorph, but I'll look into what I need to do to re-save the images required in the proper format. Look for a blue battery icon with the next release.

These will work with .1, yes Generally speaking, you can usually assume that's the case with this morph. I get @cyanogen updates on my phone, so I'll make a point to edit the thread immediately if for some reason I think it won't work on a bug-fix release
Awesome thanks for sharing the kspec goodies. Glad you made the battery icon a seperate metamorph as well. I'm sure a lot of people want the theme just for that. Great job overall.

Not at this time. Someone would need to make a stock framework-res.apk modified with only the battery icon changes and upload that. You could then push that framework-res.apk to /system/framework

I've checked out the Buuf theme for iPhone lately and I find it very catchy. I'm sorry because I'm not an iPhone fan and I've only come to know of such theme lately. Can anyone here try to make a complete skin out of Buuf icons and buttons? As if overhauling the Sense UI and replacing all the buttons (ie Sense audio buttons, video buttons, camera etc), sliders (main slider, audio slider, messaging slider etc), clock even miscellaneous tabs (ie settings and everthing within). So... what do you think? *sorry... for being kinda nervous. This is my first request post in Themes and Apps for HD2*

Yeah... I've checked it out. I love these cartoon-ish themes like Buuf and Fallout by StarView. I wish there are more like Super Mario, Zelda and stuff like that. Can anyone tell me which software you need to create a theme for Sense UI? Because I really want to learn to create a theme and pack it into a CAB and share it with everyone.

You can actually make your theme with any graphics software which can save in png format (mainly because of the transparency capability).
Once you´ve done your creative work, you can convert your pictures with m9editor, or CFC GUI, and then use cab maker software to create the installer (there are some free apps).
To make things easier for a start, to learn about manila file namings, resolutions etc., I suggest you take any cab of any theme you like, unpack it (with a program like MSCEInf - CAB Analyzer) and see through all the files with CFC GUI - with all this data, you can jump quickly into theme making.
PPC Geeks have the icons
Popdog54 posted all of Paul Davey's art on PPC Geeks (see link).
All of icons are there. I downloaded them and put them on my HTC HD2 storage card and then used an icon changer to change most of the icons.

A: At the moment there is no such cab. The reasons are first, we have made several versions for the same parts (like analogue/digital clocks, sliders), so people can choose the one they like and second, since we are still working on the theme, it is easier for us to deal with any bugs/problems having seperate cabs.
Q: Will there be an all-in-one cab?
A: Yes, once we comlete customising all parts.

yeah, I checked those slider icons, but there are not fitting that well. those sliders were made using old Buuf icons

Hi... I remember requesting a Buuf theme couple weeks back and I'm thankful that some people out here shares the same idea with me. I'm hoping that you'll be able to make a complete theme like the GTX or Fallout theme out here with the slider bar as well. However, is it possible to change the stock icons to the Buuf icons by overwriting the stock ones in the windows folder or something? Because I hesitate to change it with the icon changer software and it's kinda like a waste of space by having an additional software just for the icons? Secondly, I believe by using such app I need the new icon files to be kept in the phone or the SD card. But still I'm happy enough that you're developing a theme based on Buuf. Thank you so much and can't wait for the full release.

Yeah, I saw the thread you started, even posted some links there
Frankly saying I have no idea whether you can overwrite the stock icons. Personally, I installed JWMD Icon Changer, which is very easy to use.
As regards the free space, yeah the new icons will take some space on the internal memory or storage card, depends where you keep them. I keep them in the storage card and they take around 5-7 mb not more. Even if it was like 100-200 mb, I would still change them, since I couldn't stand the stock icons
But I guess it is a personal decision

The cab will replace the cht icons (toggle switches, notification and miscellaneous . Some I left as I think they look ok like the change wallpaper icons.

Rotate screen and motweets I can do using the standard or closes icon to start with, send me a sample of qik and chts links icons and I will do them.
BTW if you send me any icon I will use it in the template for use were ever you like. We can change the current icons if a better made Icon is available, If possible bigger than 90x90 .png file. Using a jpg is a bit more work to get it ussable.

INSTRUCTIONS:

0. ALL DOWNLOAD LINK CAN BE FOUND ON ATTACHMENT SECTION PER THEME POST, read filename for latest release
1. Make sure you are on default theme first
2.Open Themestore and keep it running on the background (do not clear it on recent menu)
3. Download and install apk (can take time to install)
go again to Theme Store by the SETTINGS APP (WALLPAPER AND THEMES option)
and apply trial (its a fully working theme so don't worry about the trial)
4. RESTART phone once to make the theme fully appied
*Theme center FC can occur thus preventing you to go back to default theme so thats normal.

(ISSUE MAY OCCUR)THEME NOT SHOWING ON THEMESTORE AFTER INSTALL:
- Open theme store FIRST and keep it running on the background (do not clear on recent menu) before installing a theme apk
- After install press "done" and home button, open Theme Store from Settings APP not from Recent panel or Home shortcut.
- OR try to Install other theme from the store BEFORE or AFTER installing mine, if still now showing..
- Forget about this theme and move on.

install the v4 theme then restart after apply the theme of stock and finally apply the theme v4 and I do not get notifications like v3. I'm in 7.0

What u doing wrong? Let's see, this is for S9 and s9 is only oreo, how are u on nougat.. U use S8, go to S8 thread.

Im still not fond of releasing my themes without frames so i hope a kanger will fill that void of a hassle
-Overlays Overlays, idk why im still the one whos doing it were on OREO era now, it works (atleast for me) but its really a hassle to uninstall so i better not release it this early, but we can wait for that it meeds alot of testing.

Its a common issue on nougat, and a curse that you have to re apply the default theme then my theme again to display icons properly, every after you reboot your phone. (theres an unconfirmed fix for it for nougat but ill have to edit manifest and change signature of every Asset apk inside the theme, and theres like 500+ of them so i didn't bother to do it)

I made it really like that, coz V3 light notif is somewhat not good looking with those rounded light notification and a black background behind it.

A minor issue that got me burn my ass, i really dont know the resolution sizes of those buttons, and when i try to make it big or hires it will mess up the single button call setup so i decided to leave it like that.

From this point of view, I was referring to the v3 notifications much better. Is there a possibility that you modify the same as v3? @envy~
