Emulators - Nexus One Themes and Apps

Whats the range of emulators like for the N1?

Assuming you mean console game emulators, there's quite a few in the market. I see NES, SNES, GBA, Genesis, Game Gear and quite a few others. Unfortunately the lack of physical buttons makes it a frustrating experience.

nes or snes emulator

does anyone know of a nes or snes emulator that works on the fuze. I have tried pocketnesterplus but it failed to load a game, this worked on my 8525. I dont know if it is the difference between qvga and vga screens. any ideas would be helpful.
For SNES, look up Nop's SNES. It's the only one that works well, but still it's only half speed at best.
For NES - I use Smartgear, but you have to pay $10 to play unlimited. It also happens to be the best Turbografx emulator - which is why I pay for it.

Any MSX Emulators?

Are there any MSX emulators for the Touch\Fuze? I know there is a NES, SNES, GBA and Sega emulators but I havent seen any MSX. Its similar to NES so I assume there would be one. I want to play the original metal gear games and I know they should run flawlessly on the phone.
looked here?

I cant get the emulator to work, I got the FMSX emulator and it runs I can see the Run, Cartridge, Restart menus etc. But when I try to run Metal Gear 2 rom nothing happens.
Bump .

[Q] Amiga emulators for the TF...

would really like to revisit some of the old SSI gold box rpg adventures on the tablet....all the amiga emulators i've tried have been a bit hit or miss, mostly miss....i've only had limited success with a c64 emulator and zero success with the uaedroid one (used all the kickstar versions and even the .key file and still can't get any games to load up)...is there an amiga emulator on the horizon that will work with the TF?

[Q] any multiplayer N64 Emulators out?

I know that most emulators have been removed from the Android market (and are available on slideME) but is there any N64 emulators that support local (sharing one screen) or wifi multiplayer schemes? I am only curious about N64, I already know that there is an SNES and NES emulator that can do multiplayer. Thanks in advance
I believe I saw multiplayer support in one of the last updates of N64oid. Haven't tried the multiplayer functionallity yet, but there were options to setup multiple controllers, so it should work
latest n64oid has support for screen sharing and multiple controllers as well as cheats

[POLL]Who uses game system emulators on their phone?

I use GameBoid (GBA) and FPse (PS1) emulators. GameBoid is not on the market anyone (no clue why) but I still like it the best. FPse is $4USD. When you use these, you need to get a hold of the BIOS files (obviously) and the actual game files. Anyone know of any good sites to get roms for either PS1 or GBA? Thanks.
Only time I used an emulator was when I jailbroke my iPhone for the very first time back in 2008. It was great for about a month, but I noticed that my phone was running slower and not performing as good as it used to.
Haven't had an emulator ever since.
I'm using SuperGNES on my skyrocket. All the game ROMs i found have played flawlessly. The only thing is getting the controls layed out so that my mitts actually hit the correct buttons lol

Try CoolRom.com They had a ton of ROMS for games I thought I would have no chance in hell in finding.
Thanks for the replies guys

I use GBCoid (Gameboy/Gameboy Color), turn based RPGs like Pokemon work rather well with it. Anything more complex becomes an exercise in frustration though, so I dont bother with other genres.
only gameboid and fpse tried n64 one way too many buttons
I use vNESlight and Blue Tomato (Sega emulator) on my WP7 device...
I use anDosBox to play old DOS games on my Android phone.
I use gameboid for gameboy advance games and FPse for playstation 1 games.
I tried the NES Emulator
For PS1 games I use Xperia Play, umad? jk. I'd like to use mupen64plus Xperia Play version but I can't afford it from my country so I count on N64oid for N64 games. For GameBoy, Gameboid. If you don't have the Xperia Play you can use FPSe.

I use Droidemulite and you can actually use different system roms on it. I have my wiimote connected to it and its really good. I play it on my HP touch pad so I have a nice big screen to play on. Oh the emulator app is free by the way.
I can (and do) play almost every game on my HTC Vision.
Only games I can't faithfully recreate is 2D fighters
snes........
SuperGNES Lite
my Nokia n9 has an emulator that has nes, snes, gba, psx, amiga, and pico all in one. Its the best mobile emulator I've ever seen.
Gameboid to play RPGs like Mother 3 which is free in the SlideME Market http://slideme.org/application/gameboid
FPSE for some random gaming here and there. Playing Monster Rancher Card Battle II currently
$3.99 in Android Market https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emulator.fpse&hl=en
MAME4droid Reloaded (0.139) to play random arcade games
Free in Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zZWxldWNvLm1hbWU0ZHJvaWQiXQ..
I love playing pokemon red on my Evo 3D. Sometimes I wish I had a keyboard so I could play faster-paced games.. Sometimes you lose where the joypad is on a touchscreen.
I tried out a few emulators back when I was using my Milestone.
I had Gameboid and the other *oid ones for nes and snes I think.
I used them with a wiimote for that authentic dpad and buttons feeling even though my phone had a keyboard.
It was a little bit awkward though, with the controller and the phone not being physically connected. It made me nervous balancing my phone on my knee while holding the wiimote with both hands, so I ended up going back to my DS and PSP for most of those kind of games and only playing actual android games on my phone.
