I was thinking if someone could make a small app so we could use the ledlight as a flashlight. Like the bluetooth switch.
In this way we could apoint a button on the quickmenu and we have a flashlight at hand.
I could not find anything like this and I believe it could be usefull.
Any ideas?
P.S.: I do not have the skill to program this...

That's a really good idea. A better idea would be to search the forum and find the one that already exists!

ive searched all over the internet looking for a solution im looking to see if theres a program out there like throttle lock for the HD2 but one that is more intergrated with WM and locks when you hit the power button etc.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance.
I would like to know too.
there is app on omarket. But i think poeple need to tweak this lockscreen. but you have a basic there with this app
For the How-to guide please refer to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=962189
It's nothing like a honeycomb. It still is only possible to unlock by sliding finger down.
U can unlock in any directions

Not true my friend. I can unlock the screen in any directions.
See this other video:
I guess you haven't tried it. This is not like the other work in progress Honeycomb lockscreen project(s) on XDA forum.
This is using Lockbot Pro.
If you are going to do something like this, you might as well use ripple lock.
Also, the Themes and Apps section is just around the corner, and is a much more suitable place for this. This is not android development.
Thanks for the info fella

LOL...do u know how buggy ripple lock is compared to this lockbot pro solution?
The reason for my post is "Information sharing" bcs not everybody is aware of this and not everyone visits the Themes and Apps section.

I am glad you found my post informational.
There is one problem on your video - the clock is moving too when you unlock screen. Nice try, but it's just a very simple mock.
Source code ??? anyone ?

Like I said, there are many other honeycomb unlock screen solution and i've tried some and they all end up making my phone lag or only work sometime or some which u must flash via OR caused my phone to boot loop.
So far this solution works pretty well for me.
I don't mind the clock moving along because after u unlock the screen, the clock from the lock screen disappear. So it does not matter to me.
Ripple lock works very well, on my SGSII atleast and looks better too.
I was wondering about that, on the iphone there is an application that u can get off of Cydia and will enable the "touch to unlock" I don't like to "slide" and specially now that fkn mapple was given this retarded patent I believe every single android should move away from "slide to unlock".
In any case, does anybody know if there is an alternative?
If you're running Cyanogenmod you can just disable the slider and just unlock with the menu button.
Thanks but I'm running MIUI, that's a good option but I want something on the screen.
Don't you think it would be too easy to unlock it be accident?

well , i don't think it would be easy to touch and push power button or volume button by accident , any way , before you wanna unlock , you must first touch these physical button...

MIUI's default unlock , just slide it all the way down , that's closest solution i can think of ...
MIUI has lots lots of unlock screen online , i think you could find one you like
There's a ton of lockscreens for miui that do exactly what your looking for, check the themes section for the miui lockscreen threads. Or google miui lockscreens.

i use the lockscreen gestures feature in cyanogenmod. you can draw a gesture to unlock it, and to open any app from the lockscreen.
action "push" can be draw as gesture?

Feedback is greatly appreciated
Really, anything at all...
Any device list on what needs root and what doesn't?
@AndTheBoys Not specifically since there are way to many devices. But the app will work on Android 4.0+, all rooted devices and for the not rooted devices the only way to find out is to try. However, if you managed to get another screenshot app working this app will probably also work.
Did you try it out? Let me know what you think of it.
More feedback is welcome!
I saw your nice app here now,
and I have to make a lot of screenshots bcs I make themes for my G-Note
so I just downloaded the app and tested it,
so far very cool,
but at once I miss a option (important for me),
the ability that the service stops itself after a time (maybe 10-20-30 sec or a minute)
would be cool if you could implement that
and I saw at playstore another screenshot app from you,
what's the difference
greetings
hara

@hara74 Thanks for the feedback! Good idea to put a timer in it that will stop the service automatically. We'll add it probably in the next update! Till then, you can use Tasker or Locale to do it since Screenshot Easy has a plugin for those automation apps. Let me know whether that works till the update?
About our other screenshot app, that app has way more features and is way more complex. While Screenshot Easy was designed to have a nice interface and be really simple. So if you need more functionality have a look at the other one
More feedback is welcome! Thanks!
nice to hear that u will implement the timer :good:
no problem to close the service manually till you release ur update
I already tried Screenshot Ultimate yesterday, but the Easy Version has a nicer interface and has enough functions for me
only thing I miss also in Easy Version (Ultimate has it, I beleave), is to draw directly instead of using the roms drawer,
because I have to cross out a few numbers and names when I post screenshots of the themed contact or phone app
@hara74 Do you have Tasker or Locale by any change? That would make it even easier till the update
About your request for drawing inside the app, we specifically made the choice not to implement it since everyone already has an image editor in their roms and can install a custom other one if they want. And we want to keep it all really easy
More feedback is welcome! And if you downloaded and liked the app I would appreciate it if you could leave a review on Play. Or post it here
no,
no Tasker or Locale, but is OK till update
and also with standard drawer I can live
I will leave a feedback here and also at Playstore,
when I have worked more with ur app,
and have taken more screenshots
sent from my G-Note
@hara74 That great to hear, hopefully you'll still like the app if you use it a bit more
And if someone else tried it, please let me know your thought here. Thanks!
Does anyone have problems with installing and/or using the app? We're looking at improving it for the next update release, so requests are welcome!
Is it possible to add a palm swipe as an action to take screenshot? Basically like Samsung TW..
Thanks!
@acedik That's actually a good idea, we'll look into it! In the mean time, does the app work ok?
Let me know!
Screenshot Easy is growing really fast! Let me know what you think of it so we can even improve it further
thanks
@mamaliii You're welcome
But more feedback is definitely appreciated
Hi mate,
I made a new theme and a few screenshots,
so far ur app works great

@hara74 Great to hear!
If anyone has feedback on the app let me know! Also, let me know how use the app (gaming screenshots, documents, etc).
We just released a new version on Play and I decided it would be good to post it here as well. Haven't posted much here.
Anything you would like to see inside the app? Or if you are using it let me know what you think of it! Thanks!
