I have read quite a few posts now that enable you to have more quick links.
I have not however been able to find a quick links mod that keeps 3 columns but makes the lengths longer so like 3 across and 7 down. Only reason being I like the larger buttons. Easier to press
Anyone seen this or am I being awkward?

The Co0kie Home Tab Mod will soon have the 3x3 option, as well as the ability to set the amount of pages of links.
With three pages of 3x3, you would have a total of 27 original sized links.
Thanks for the fast reply
And Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I think it is on this thread.
The 4 row is called "Touch X Hexagon 4 row.cab" -makes the startmenu display 4 icons/hexagon.
This is the BEST ever forum thread for tweaks and adjustments.
I hope this helps.
3 horizontal and 6 (or more) vertical - is it possible?
There are already CABS available for 16 or 20 quick links available. I think 20 is the maximum so far as all the buttons have to fit on one screen and still look good.
Yes, but they change the row to 4 or 5 links.
You can't go any further than the 2nd page when you scroll down, so no, you can't have more if you only want 3 horizontally.

What I dont get is why the Home Tab needs to be "paged" like that. The internet tab is not paged and you can add 20+ favourites shortcuts in there. Why can the home tab not be made to function like that?
I was using a theme on CM 5.0.4.1 and it allowed me to place shortcuts on the home screen in the lower left and lower right of the screen.
The shortcuts would appear in the location where the dots for navigating instead of swiping appear normally.
I wish I could add more detail, but that's all I remember. This feature was very convenient for me.
TIA for any help provided.
apologies if this is in the wrong forum

This what you looking for?
Also...
nexTheme has Dialer and Browser at the bottom.
Ideally I'd like to be able to choose what fills the 2 slots, but I'm good with the updated launcher of nexTheme
McFroger3 - Not exactly, but that would definitely work.
JJackson9995 - I think that's the one. And I think I was able to long press on the dialer and launcher and replace them, or maybe I just filled the spots they were occupying on the bottom row with other shortcuts that I needed.
Either way, both of you have provided assistance that is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!

Sounds more like a home replacement? Home++ or something maybe? Don't think it was a launcher mod as I've yet to see one where you can customize the buttons down there without modifying code.
I use the cookie Home Tab Mod and I am wondering if there was any way to get 2 rows of shortcuts kinda like you can use on Sense for Android below the clock. I think this would be a nice feature and possibly even an option to display the extra row only when there is not appointments or all the time.I know you can scroll up to reveal all 4 - Rows but I think it would be really nice to have 2 Roms on the home screen all the time and have any where from 6-10 short cuts easily accessible at all times.

Actually this will be an option in Co0kie's Home Tab 1.7.
So patiently look forward to the next release.
Thanks santod040 that is what I was trying to figure out. I knew that there was other mods out there but I lie to stick with Cookies because it still mantaines a stock look to an extent. Is there a ball Park E.T.A. for 1.7?
Some folks have mentioned looking for ways of locking screen and other functions without using the hardware buttons. Several new feature options have accomplished this for me and maybe others can profit from this combination. In the Themes section there is a mod to bring back the 2 button nav bar. Here is the link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-4-xl/themes/magisk-module-bring-android-pie-2-t4002831
Combine that with the recently added option in -Accesibility- to add the nav bar button by enabling the Accessibility Menu and it created a clean looking setup that is rapidly growing on me. Clearly it's not for everyone but that's why XDA is here... Fun and options. Lol. This is what it looks like.
can we have this as a floating icon on the screen?

Doesn't seem so. Looks like it functions like a bottom version of the top quick links and with bigger buttons.
