I am kind of having some issues with my Windows Media Player 6.1 and was wondering if anyone has the cab for WMP6.1 and it's codecs to download. I really need it please and thank you.
bump please
I really ask for the cab and such please.
Search for a program called TCPMP (be sure to get the updated one that gets rid of the crash.txt error).
depends on what issue do you have?
i would like to help,
the rom i have does not have it. Also i dont really want to use tcpmp.
i guess i am out of luck? What about WMP default codec files?
Thats nearly impossible,. WMP and its codec is a base codec for a "sound",. so if a ROM dont include it, then the ROM will be very difficult to play such a music,.
Here is to check, this is full WMP that relocated already (so you cant make an OEM from this),.
If this .cab cant be installed, means that the ccodec is already in your ROM,.
For further advise, please contact your ROM cooker,.
That wont happen in original ROM,.

Alright I get wmp now but it won't let me play 3gp files, which is what format my phone takes video in. TCPMP gives an error saying there is like an audio error and only plays the video without the sound.
as above really, fed up of trying to find a decent app to play flac files, so i'm wondering if anyones cooked flac in to work with media player?
I know it isnt a ROM but it is a program that can play FLAC files. VLC was ported to the mobile platform a few years back though it never got out of Alpha. Here is the last build that was performed for the application. Hope that helps!

Can you guide me a simple way to play FLV on my HD2
OS: WM 6.5
I tried TCPMP and link. doesn't work may be wrong version or wrong way
Give me the links if it works
TCPMP 0.72RC1 works pretty well (even reads Ogg Vorbis).
Look for a package containing all the necessary codecs for this version.
Some FLV can sometimes cause problems, though (not opening - though may works when retrying, freezing when trying to skip tracks, or run slowly or jerky), bout you'll prpbably have problem with those as well on you desktop PC.
There's also a free PPC version for Real One Player available.
On the other hand, I got rid of CorePlayer (always crashing and not free).
Does anyone know if you can add codecs to the default media player on widows 10 build 10166 mobile. Currently it cant even play avi files far less for mkv. Also is anyone here a dev, I would really like to make a request for an app, willing to pay...
Hi all, I posted this in the Android Help thread but got no answer so figured I'd try here instead.
like the title says I'm having trouble figuring out how (or if it's even possible) to make the browser prompt me to choose "Play Online" or "Download" after clicking a video link like it used to on Marshmallow... Assuming I want to play browser videos using MX Player instead of ****ty in-browser HTML5 players, is there anyway I can make this happen on Nougat without having to copy paste the link to MX Player manually?
I use Tugapower Nougat (coming from RR Marshmallow), UC and Dolphin Browser (Flash On-Demand + JavaScript On). For MX Player I'm using latest version with the setting to Play Media Links checked. All the same apps+settings I had on marshmallow.
Is this an android nougat issue, a Rom or app issue?? If anyone knows how to disable the built-in dolphin video player that'd be useful info too. Just don't understand why it doesn't work on Nougat but worked on marshmallow. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
