I got Guitar hero 5 for my phone, but it's hogging up my phone's memory cause of the songs it downloads. If I install the game on my storage card, will it then download the songs to my storage card?
I've been looking everywhere for this game and yet it isn't even mentioned on the Glu website?
Where did you got it and what version (mobile platform) have you downloaded?
I'm beginning to think this game doesn't even exist!
Features:
Supports ROM (.rom, .mx1, .mx2) and Disk (.dsk) programs, optionally in zip files
SCC and FM sound support
Internal SRAM and save state support, auto-save and ten manual slots for save states.
Configurable on-screen multi-touch controls & keyboard support (needs Android 2.1+ for multi-touch)
Multiplayer-capable Wiimote + Classic Controller and iControlPad support (iOS & Android)
Portrait/Landscape orientation support (auto-orientation on iOS & Android)
Getting Started:
One or more MSX machine profiles and corresponding system roms are required for use. Download and extract this basic set from BlueMSX and place the MSX.emu directory into the following (make sure it has write access):
Android: root of the SD card (/sdcard)
iOS: /User/Media
WebOS: root of USB storage (/media/internal)
About Save Games:
Any data written to floppy disks is saved if the disk isn't zipped.
Internal SRAM for supported machine types is saved in the platform-dependent MSX.emu directory listed above.
Save states are named .0A.sta for the auto-save slot, and .0X.sta where X is the slot number for manual saves. The machine type and current IO devices are saved and must all be present when the state is loaded.
IMPORTENT: You Need to Download Basic Set (MSX.emu.zip) And Extract it Then Put it in Your External Card
Enjoy
Franchises established on the MSX
The most popular and famous MSX games were written by Japanese software-houses such as Konami and Hudson Soft. Several popular video game franchises were initially established on the MSX:
Aleste and Zanac (the latter developed and released alongside the original FDS version)
Bomberman
Penguin Adventure
Eggerland
Metal Gear
Parodius
Puyo Puyo
Others got various installments on the MSX, including some titles unique to the system or largely reworked versions of games on other formats:
Castlevania (as Vampire Killer)
Contra
Dragon Quest
Dragon Slayer
Final Fantasy
Gradius (Nemesis)
R-Type
Wizardry
Xak
Ys
[Mod Availability] How to use the whole 8GB as Phone Memory&SD Card as true SD Card
I was in the belief that in LG Optimus 3D has 8gb dedicated to phone memory, so bought a 32GB class 10 MicroSD card with the device and now I have found out that the MicroSD Card cannot be used to install apps. I have installed Batman: The dark knight Rises (1.8 GB), Asphalt 7 (1.3 GB), Real Racing 2 (0.7 GB), Virtual tennis (0.3 GB) and some more small games. The Result is that I have only 70MB left, So I'm in a Dilema as to How to Install further Games.

Thanks, but the phone restarts during moving.
You should be able to go to settings > applications > manage applications > app you want to move > move to SD card. It should move the app to the SD card. This option is available in CyanogenMod, not sure if it's available on stock rom though.

I prefer this one, it doesn't require me to launch the transfer/bind software to launch the game. Once it's bound, it's bound until you unbind it. This way I can keep playing these games with the 3D converter.
Directory Bind
Any Mod Availability, Yet?
Any permanent solution other than above?
i use Auto_Patch_APK_for_LG_by_Duero__include_Java to patch my gameloft apk's to external card. after the apk is patched you just install it normally in your phone and the games will always read the files from external memory. don't need to install any software in your phone or mess with settings. it's a good solution, but only for gameloft games.
It is applicable to older Gameloft games which has folders in sdcard/gameloft/games. Newer games are installed in Android/obb folder.
Directory Bind seems to still be the best option. It works with all gameloft games no matter where they install, and you can still play those games in 3D.
can i move games which hv apk only (like temple run, subway surfer, etc) to ext card using gl to sd ? i hv previously tried moving games to ext card which hv apk only (vector, extreme skater, pop snf) with gl2sd but it detects those as 0 bytes (i hv tried moving those games to internal storage from device memory).i think gl to sd can only move data/obb files.foldermount also failed.
GL to SD
GL to SD can do the same for temple run too. Just move data.
Later, you will have two different saved profiles; one on ext card and other in internal or phone.
Play with gl to sd and you will access saved profile on ext card. Play with direct app and you will access saved profile on internal or phone.
It's really cool.
I have a Archos gamepad 2 and have a 64Gb sd card installed. My problem us games only seem to install on the tiny 8Gb built in memory so I cant make use of the SD card for game installs............. Is there any way round this?
Thanks!
