[Q] Dictaphone / Dictation app

Ahoy!
I just started a job that requires me to dictate reports to be typed up.
I have searched the market, but can't really find anything suitable.
There are 2 essential features I am looking for;
1) the ability to rewind your recording
2) the ability to edit, (for example if i make a mistake dictating, rewind, then continue recording from the middle again.
I can't believ there is no app I can find that does this? Any help guys?
(Or is this a problem with digital recording in general??)
Thanks in advance.....
Hello.
Do you looking for just audio recording app or speech-to-text translator/editor?
Na, I don't need any voice to text functions. Just a straight audio recorder with the abilty to rewind a mistake and continue recording over it, you know like a 'tape' dictaphone?
............
I'm amazed there is no such thing as a Dictaphone app.

Hi mentio,
I've spent a lot of time looking myself, I searched "airplay site:forum.xda-developers.com" and everyone gives an answer but not the one you and I are looking for. There's also nothing in the wiki for airplay.
In the forums, all answers are, use an media player app that sends that apps audio to airplay. What I'm after and what I think you're after is the ability to root the whole devices audio through Airplay. The sames as when you use Bluetooth.
I really can not find a solution to this problem, if it exists yet, does anyone know anything more comprehensive about airplay?
I'm an android stuck in an apple family
Thanks for any help in advanced guys and gals!

There are hndreds of apps in the Playstore, most of them free. Go to playstore and search for Sound Recorder. Download 3 or 4 with high ratings and keep the one you like best.
no u didnt got it, i dont want to rec from the mic but direct from the tablet "audio out"
to put it simple,i wanna rec the audio the tablet makes' but not from the microphone through speakers, just direct from "inside" to avoid ambient sounds.
i didnt found any app capable of doing that (about 4-5 i tried)

+1 for the vote
Would recording from the head phone socket solve it?
If not I am sure I saw on youtube someone demonstrating a audio/video out kit.

Sound/Audio studio software
There are a few apps on the play store . That are meant for recording and mixing sounds. These are what you want.. Maybe search for Audio Audio mixer... The term to what you looking for is Internal Mixer . Sound Blaster made up the term What you Hear as being easier for people to understand.. One of the ring tone creation apps could do this as well...
Good Luck .. Sound/Audio Mixer app is what you need

Your Walkman Music Setting

Hello,
What are the settings you are using (Equlizer etc) in your Walkman app to get the best possible music experience?
Thanks a lot !
who's still using m.players while there are great streaming apps like spotify and google music, even sony has one
People with mobile data limit like me maybe ?
I go to settings/sound effects and change the headphones to STH-30 makes the biggest difference. Also set surround sound to club with a custom eq. That sounds the best to me.
I only stream from spotify or Pandora when I want to hear something new. I keep a huge library of songs on my phone. Saves battery not streaming all the time.

Hehe Me There are many reasons for that. Some of them below:
1) Mobile data limit
2) Streaming apps has not a lot of Indian/Pakistani old songs.
3) Battery drain
4) Traveling in underground metro and mobile data keeps changing from 4g to 3g, 3g to 2g etc and it causes buffering and stop which is irritating.
5) Keeping a music library in my mobile give me a "sense of security" if you understand what i mean

I am planning to buy a mobile that supports new Google Audio recorder as it'll be helpful in recoding lectures and later dealing with them. If anyone could confirm that it supports that app.
Thanks in advance
