no to both, it's a different build of windows. there are a few roms with that build.
just flash a rom coocked with wm6.5.3

Hope that someone can help me with this. I am looking for the "original" crossbow theme / Windows Default (the blue-ish one). My current ROM has a change to it, which I don't like and upgrading is too much of a problem now.
Can anyone provide me with the original TSK or tell me which (good, stable, fast) ROM has the original theme in it?

Is there anyway to extract the rom from the official htc-update and can that be incorporated in e.g. Dr. Gonzos 6.1 rom?

Im not sure if i understand what your gettin at. Do you want a scandinavian language on Gonzo's ROM? or just the keymap? or maybe just the theme ?
i guess you want the wm6.1 rom with the scandinavian keypad layout.
read the wm6.1 kitchen thread.

Im a new user to Vox (S710) got it from my work and now want to upgrade it to WM 6.1.
I need a clean but stable ROM, can one of you guys point me to the best ROM there is.
Also, do i have to change the SPL thingie etc?

i reccomend firburned's wm6.1 clean rom v.1-3

Yes, for 6.1 you will have to do USPL! Look in the Wiki for detailed instructions!
You can also go for fh's Rose 0.4 ROM which is also very stable and lightning fast. I used both fb's ROM adn fh's Rose 0.4 with loads of apps and both of them are rock solid. Its your pick. The fonts are different in the ROM and Rose ROM is prettier.

No because it's in a rom.

in dutty's rom its manila 2.1 + weather, so maybe it is possible to add/replace some files but alot of skills required for that...
easiest is to flash ready rom...
udk's new rom or dutty's both have weather on main screen, udk's rom is too buggy & slow to use but dutty's rom is perfect.

I've flashed my Mega and now have Fatherjack360's Windows Mobile 6.5.5 Clean Base Rom (Build 23541), which is very nice, but it doesn't have TouchFlo 2D included like my old 6.5 ROM had, and I'd rather like to be able to have the choice. Any clues as to how I go about adding it? I can find themes for it, but not the actual application itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Pff, my first reaction would be to flash another Rom with TF2D included.......you can install seperately....see here....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541750 but you run the risk of issues.....
