custom taskbars?

are there any custom taskbars out there i can put on my hero running modoco 2.0?

can we use it on other roms? or do i have to flash that one?

I did a quick google search about this, and what i concludeed was that you could probably swap the /system/framework/framework-res.apk from your current rom with the one from fresh. i haven't tested it out, but i think it should work.

Check the stickies in this very section.
I'm running the black one its pretty nice.

It doesn't seem he's interested in Godzson's taskbars, but the one in Fresh. And I agree, his taskbars are really nice.

yeah ive got godsons installed now, its nice but i love that other one and must have it.

I would build it but I'm in the middle of a few projects right now.

[Morph] Smooth Black Bar [Enomther's Official ROM v1.7.1/Cyanogen 5.0.4.1]

This is a very simple METAMORPH THEME. It puts in a black status bar with Hero-style icons.
Also added:
Green highlights
Blacked out search bar (Made by Manup456)
Transparent notification shade
Green lights on power control widget
Changelog:
Added green highlights to GenieWidget
Lowered transparency on notification shade

Repaired GenieWidget so it no longer malfunctions on touch when only displaying news feed.
Added green highlights to the power control widget.
Changed the shade of green on widgets to match better.
This is NOT a regular theme. It is a Metamorph.
To use: download and install AndExplorer and Metamorph from the market. Both are available for free.
**PLEASE NOTE** After applying morphs, you will need to reapply your widgets. Metamorph has always been this way. They are not broken, they just need to be trashed and reapplied.

No this will NOT run with CyanogenMod. I tried it once yesterday as well and got some funky startup errors. I have all I need to port it over to CM, but that will have to wait until later this evening after work.

Very, nice, did not know that Meta morph had support for Metamorph.
Makes themeing much more rapid.

OK everyone, new link added to bottom of OP for CyanogenMod Morph.

Just installed the H icon looks a bit awkward to me but other than that it looks good.
Edit: Oh the H icon looks weird because it has a border around it. In the Modaco version I don't think it had that border around the 3G icon.

Theme looks classy. I also love the look of the stock N1 but this black bar looks so much nicer. I'm on CM5.0 beta-2.

Are you using your launcher's search bar or the Google Search bar? Cause the Google one is black

This theme looks great on my phone. Good color integration. CyanogenMods panel wont change my clock color though, weird.
Has anybody noticed the market occasionally downloading but sticking at 100% download from this google ****s pack?

Why dont you just take the icons from galaxy s theme?
I did them deliberately different..

What do u mean? I like how u made the lockscreen slider icons that cyan color but im using a galaxy s type theme that someone made for me an the icons in the sliders are blue but it wont change the messaging icon in the slider blue for some reason but itll change the phone. Thats why i asked if u could make a blue version as well

Edit: can you point me to your blue gala s theme?..I found gala s, but the icons are very much cyan too....

Its the one pendo made its called manup blue. Its in his supercircle thread. He posted a file that u can flash for cm 6.1 rc1 but he made me a morph thatll work with nightlies that looks the same as the one u flash

Ok, found it..but: I can only come close to his colors and cannot make exactly pendo´s style as he got his color settings saved...
If you want exactly pendo´s style, you got to ask him, I ´m sure he will do you the icon.

Hes already done alot for me an he seems busy on some other stuff as along as u can come close thats cool with me.

Am using this theme and really loving it especially the lock/unlock sounds
However, after applying the XML i'm getting an issue as shown in the screencap where the "Menu" option labels can't be seen(they are there just that black text on black BG)

your answer is in the first post, the text will be black until I get a stable cm7 Rom, the patch to make the letters white breaks the battery animation. it has nothing to do with the theme xml.
I'm not so sure how bob or Mexico represents this theme lol
