COMPLETE ECLAIR
My first ROM release ever!Ive been studying a lot of ROMS lately,especially 2.1 so I decided to release my own.Every things working properly except a few minor issues that Im working on fixing for the next version.Ive been tweaking it and running it on my G1 for a couple of days now and its extremely fast for a first release,so I hope you guys enjoy!
GOAL
*My goal for this ROM is to import everything from the actual AOSP 2.1 into G1 and MT3G and keep things running nice and smooth.I take my ROMS very seriously and Im working step by step and day by day to bring you the best.So be patient!It will get better with every update!*

Right now I say speed is the biggest factor.I removed some of the unwanted apps aswell

Why do people keep asking this question when it specifically says under bugs that video isn't working......?!?!?!?!?
Few graphics questions:
Highlights for selecting icons on screens and app drawer are they stock orange?
Power widget and Analog clock, do they have green or cyan blue details?
I assume the notification bar is white?

video don't work in any eclair release but in xrom 1.0 video player and youtube works well!!!when i read "bugs:video" i think at camcoder,can't know if ALL video apps aren't working!!

Yeah but if you're on the 2.1 scene it's kinda common knowledge. It's a problem with drivers. Although I can appreciate the misconception of the name "complete eclair". I clicked on it thinking that video was fixed.

I wouldn't even really call this a port, maybe a bastardization is appropriate ... but, with a little help from the kitchen, I was able to put together a workable version of CR's MyTouch Slide BETA rom.
This port does have working Browser and Gmail which was missing from Binary's version.
- Give it some time (10-15mins) to load
Full wipe ... then flash this port ... that's it
I'm not held liable if you don't know what you're doing and muck up your phone

hmm weird, I did that and it didnt work. maybe I didn't wait long enough? or I just had to flash again. Thanks. And sorry for the stupid question. A lot of people post things that you need to flash something else first and never make it clear of what it is that needs to be flashed.
Does that include the sd wipe?
If you're already partitioned then yes, do a SD wipe
It's like a 76' Ford Fairmont ... You have to give it a while to load.
Run logcat while loading and you'll see that everything is working just fine

I really enjoyed what T-Mobile put together here, but the rom was not good on battery and my phone was running way too hot . Going to patiently wait for some updates then flash back. Can't wait!!

I've been running it a couple days now and haven't really noticed any major battery drains.
It also comes stocked with SetCPU, you can set your profiles and throttle down the processor once your battery surpasses a certain temperature.
Sweet looking build, but It keeps freezing on me while syncing. I also got the reboot issue when selecting theme.

I've noticed the frequent freezes especially after installing apps and the reboot issue reoccurring is also prevalent in the original build. CR should address it in the next update.
What I did was went ahead and partitioned with ext4 & swap and it seems to run a lot more smoother than before.
Yea I wiped and flashed again. This time I selected the advertised theme and just went slower than before. No random reboots and everything is now working fine. It is a little too slow for me right now but I love how it looks. I also like to remove contact photos in my address book view and cannot in this build.
On a side note, does anyone have issues with Nandroid restores? I can perform a backup and restore but when I boot up after a restore it never gets past the splash screen... kind of annoying and defeats the purpose of the backup.

This ROM isn't anything super spectacular is turning out to be quite nice, but keep in mind it's been tuned for what I like.
It's got Ziggy's latest [CFS][HAVS] kernel built-in, which is still in beta, and a number of other tweaks from myself and other developers.

Try Winamp if you want music on ASOP, it doesn't integrate per say, but it works and Winamp is nice.

I am running this now and its great. No issues. Though this is just stock sense with your extras right? Any tweaks at all like to the framework or anything? Just curious... It would look nicer with black sliders instead of the clear white ones.. since your status bar is black... You could easily grab the gingerbread sliders and it would look badass... only a suggestion.

I love this rom. I'm always looking for the stripped down versions. This is stripped more than I've ever seen released. Still I did have to remove Facebook and Friendstream. But that was much easier than stripping everything.

If you like minimalism, Aamikam posted a stripped down or "Reengineered" 3.70 sense rom for Devs to use as a base. It's easily the fastest stock sense I've ever used even with all the Sprint bloat included!

i kinda figured it wouldnt cause netflix only supports 2.2 at the momment. but a small chance it did i would be on it like a fat kid after a cupcake

This rom looks very promising but it will not boot. I get an infinite boot loop and the rom will not boot. This happens with this rom and virus's rom only any help or insight. I have read superwipe works I dont know how to get it and I have also heard double flashing the rom helps but I have had not luck with it.
This rom looks good, going to give it a test drive

I had Netflix running on Decks 1.2d AOSP ROM which is based on 2.3.4.. so if it doesn't work on this ROM, it is most likely due to Sense + GB combo..

Great Rom, silky smooth with Lords latest 6.9, and liking Swype and additional Wallpapers (Shuttle one is just incredible).
I would personally change the battery indicator to break away from Hydrogenmods appearance, but totally understand that that great Rom is an inspiration.
The Modified Launcher upon booting looks awesome and very refreshing.
Great start, and will be using this for a while.

Thanks buzz, glad you're liking the rom and I appreciate the feedback. I'm really happy with the way the Launcher came out, I think it's my favourite part of the rom right now. You might have a point about the battery icon, if I can find something else that I like as much I might change it for the next release.

Wipe data/cache
Wipe Dalvik cache
Install zip from sd card
(and probably back up first just in case you want to go back ;p)

I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

Be prepared to know what adb does and have a dropbox account ready This is not an "early accesss" program, but a way to improve the ROM by having people actively test early builds and reporting back on issues.

Aw snaps! What's up NRG, I missed you from my touch pro 2 days. Glad to see your doing your thang still. I will be downloading this when I get a chance and I hope you continue your work on this Rom and other works. I recently decided to dive into sense 3.5 and like it. I just wish the Rom was a little more stable and complete. In time, hopefully it'll get better.
