[REQ]SMS Send Animation & Snap Photo With Volume Rocker

Hi, can someone create a cab file to make a loading animation when sending
SMS like the iphone or anything, cause more likely it seems like the text window dialog box which you type in, flickers when SMS were send out. Another thing
is to enable the side volume rocker to snap photos with HD2 camera.

Yeah there is no Sent notification which is really annoying so a BIG +1 from me!

This is missing in HD2, could someone work it out here, thanks in advance....

Dude that threat is more to text animation smileys, I want a SMS send animation something like iphone. Cause in HD2 after sending SMS the text box
which you typed only flickers to indicate SMS were send. Perhaps someone
can create an mini loader above the text counter "0/160"

Message sent notification is only available if you disable HTC messaging and go back to the standard WM messaging instead. You can then activate sent notifications using the Advanced Config 3.3 app
HTC messaging bypasses the Windows system and is tied to all the other apps like contacts. Do a google of this and you will find the answer instantly.
I use WM messaging instead and find that it is MUCH faster, has ZERO issues with stuff like proper capilaization and works with ALL keyboards. The HTC messaging is still completely buggy....
This has been mentioned in many other posts before...

thats not right!
on my HTC HD1 run Tf3d with HTC manila and it is possible 2 make a sms notification after send a sms compatble with HTC nofication manager.
But not on HD2/Leo idk why but nothing....
Animatied or not I need a SMS notification !

Yeah, hope someone can make a cab, on the top curtain like a loader or something
when you send the sms just beside the Start.

Some people just want a cab that makes it possible, but I personally like HDWall.

I don't know what to say mate. It's always worked for me. Perhaps ask on the HDWall thread and see if they can help there.
I've used this on the last 2 devices I've had, so there's obviously some reason why it's not working for you.

I know what I did wrong, I forgot to install Co0kiemonsters patch. Working great now, just the music tab got bit weird but I can live with that.

Want the picture to fill the whole screen, so i dont get a black line at the bottom and the top.

If u se my picture, I want to softkeybar and taskbar to "be a part" of the picture if u know what i mean?
Dont want the black bars at the bottom and the top, more like transparent bars.

That's something you do in HDWall I believe.
I uploaded them for you, put them in \Windows. Save the old ones somewhere so you can go back if something goes wrong.

The only thing (I think) you can do is to remove the thing so the GPS isn't tracking where your location is. I got one with my city manually added and a one called "my place" which is not showing weather at all, I love it.

MotoGP app

is there such an app for the MotoGP like the Formula1 app?

I do have an HDWall you may like though, it'll only work if you have no "Start" text at the top of your screen and obivously looks better with the clock/weather layout side by side, but if you want it, let me know?

There wont be an official one. Im already dying because of this lag as well... I sent a question to the guys from MotoGP.com who also made the App for the Iphone. They said, that development for WinMo would be too much work due to the wide variety of devices and that i should not expect a programm like that...

Instead they spent their work on stupid useless animations and mobile-wallpapers they got in their shop... what a shame

Here you go mate.
It's not a theme, just an HDWall wallpaper. If you haven't used one of these before you'll need "Cookies HQwallpaper Patch" too, a search on here will find it.
For that clock/weather layout you need "Cookies Home Tab" with the "Advanced Home Tab" mod (again these are easy to find on here) along with a selection of the transparency mods from the stickies at the top of this section and the "Remove Start text" mod too.
Any way, heres the HDWall.

Handcent Popup, why cant u theme ??

u can theme everything with handcent which i love except that boring grey popup. The popup on the chompsms application is so much nicer i wish the handcent one was more like that. I have tried chompsms but i keep getting a network error when people send me a mms saying that it couldnt be downloaded even though it was. Handcent u can customize a little more within the application. I just love the chompsms popup, need that for handcent.

how exactly do you want it to look..... i could maybe play with it, i just never themed an apk before. dont think its any different from theming anything else i guess.....

you can theme the pop up I have them themed on my handcent to black with a blue border. You need to change the pic inside the apk though. There is no option for it.

i am looking to make the background a semi transparent black ....
having trble resigning an apk .. so i didnt try messing with the pngs in this file ..

if you use 7zip, you don't need to resign it, you don't even need to extract the file. you moddify inside the zip. if you know wich png file to mod, let me know and i'll do it for you. or if you already pulled it out, send it to me, i'll mod it and insert it to the apk.

Change sense mail icon and have it display unread messages?

So im able to change the stock sense mail icon using desktop visualizer but then when i receive an email it does not display a 1 over the icon. I do not use email notifications as i get many emails through my exchange account throughout the day and dont need to be notified but i like having the unread number on my icon. Is there any way to have a custom icon and have it display then number of unread messages over top of it? Thanks!

sorry bro im pretty sure that it is possible but its going to take alot of time for one to find out how to do this and they require dev skills that i dont have im just a flasher/donator... not trying to be rude in anyway but i dont think someone will want to take the time to find out how to do this... who know someone might have already done this and shared it over the internet but you just need to look for it...

Kind of figured just wanted to see if anybody has done it.

dont know if this helps but there is a app in the market called GmailUnread count. It has different colored icons as well, and does the job. I am using it as we speak!

Thanks but i dont use the gmail app i use the stock mail app as i use exchange.

In the mail apk, I believe you just edit the png.

Unfortunately im in no way shape or form a developer. I have a good understanding of things but dont come up with my own mod's or tweaks. I would be more than willing to do this myself if i knew how.

i would be more than happy to assist you with that. give me the icon you would like me to replace the stock one with. and just so were clear, you are talking about the green bubble on the mail app right?

ok. do you want this as the app icon or as the bubble? just curious because that would cover most of the icon.

I would use the icon as a shortcut for the mail app. The unread count can be smaller if that is possible. I really appreciate this and will definitely donate when completed.

Luckily i did a nandroid backup before attempting to flash. The file would not flash as it gave an error in ra. I toggled sig verification and still got an error. Afterwards phone wouldnt boot past splash screen and had to restore nandroid.

That's horrible. 8/
