Silence icon on lock screen - Nexus One Themes and Apps

Is there a way to change the silence icon on the lock screen so it makes the phone go into vibrate mode rather than no noise at all?

I was thinking about this a while back.

download silent mode jammer from the market...

Oh thanks.

I did the silent jammer and it will not let the phone go back to the previous setting.

completely stop vibration

does anyone know how to stop the htc pro vibrating under all circumstances? The vibrate function really annoys me and it probably wastes battery Which on the pro isn't the best anyway. I want to be able to set it so that it only vibrates when I don't want it to make a noise.
if you mean when it rings then yes tap on START-> Settings -> then tap on the "phone" button then the top option "ring styles" should be changed from "ring and vibrate" to just "ring"
No, I mean stop all vibration

It vibrates for all sorts of other reasons too. Very draining on battery, really stupid in a poor battery life device.

tweak to go to voice mail when resting on screen?

I read somewhere that TP2 can automatically go to voice mail / not ring when you put it on a flat surface face down. Sorry if I missed this anywhere but is there a tweak or setting to do this in Raphael. Thx
bump, anyone?
Just spent 2 mins searching for you... It would apear that you can mute the phone by turning it face down when it starts ringing, but leaving it face down doesnt mute it (ie the act of turning it over silences it). To do this you need to change the registry, you can find the right key to change with a quick search.

Disable notifications while on phone call

When I am on a phone call my ear hits the notification bar and because I am holding the phone the way that I am the screen orients for landscape. When I finish the call I have to chase the "Close" button from the left edge to the bottom (because I have now moved the phone back to portrait position), or tap the bottom of the phone to get the screen to re-orienate so I can close "Notifications" before I hit "End" to end the call. I like having the ability to tap and get notifications but I hate that when on a call I initiate it. Is there a way to make the notifications bar inactive when I am on a call? Now that I think about it...I use Co0kies Home Tabs so I actually get my notifications there. Maybe there is a way to turn of notifications all together? I realize there is probably already another thread for that and since I would prefer to have both I'll stick with my original thought.

screen no longer turn off when bring it to my face?

Not sure when this occurred perhaps when I upgraded to jelly bean, but before when I brought my phone to my ear the screen would turn off as I brought it back in front the screen would pop back on again. Now it stays on and I can even press the buttons with my cheek. Any idea where this option is located? I have all my motion options turned on and I have smart stay turned on under display (I tried turning it off as well didn't make difference) thanks
go into your dialer press menu, call settings and make sure auto screen off during calls is checked.

I was able to find it, just go to your "log" screen and click on call settings then scroll till the "turn on screen during calls". I actually love this feature.

How to turn off lock screen buttons

Is there a way to turn off these lock screen short cuts or edit them?
this is not possible!
You can change the lockscreen with design app.
But unfortunately, other lock-secreens can not show notifications!
Only "magazin" is able to do.
