Yes, but it will erase current powerwidget. Remove it from screen before update.

Since it's not explicitly stated, is there any difference between the two asides from which rom they go with?
For instance, is the one for Cyanogen's colored to match the color he normally uses in that widget (cyan)?
Just curious.

No, both are stock nexus.

Adds another layer of darkness to my phone...not entirely sure about this quite yet with the black nexus live wallpaper. I'll leave it on for a while and see if it grows on me or not.
Thanks!!

If the only thing in the morph is the settings folder, you don't need a different version for the different roms. The only difference in a morph rom to rom is the services.jar and possibly the status_bar.xml in the layout folder. Good work tho
If its just the .thm file with the ROM version in it that causes you to make 2 versions, just change it to say Multi-ROM.

Still shouldn't need 2 versions tho I wouldn't think.

Any FC's or app conflicts yet?

I am a super noob when it comes to flashing android but i have flashed cyanogen's rom to my nexus one. i know how to flash back to stock with modaco's image, my question is i like the battery percentage in the battery icon at the top, how would i be on the stock image but install that option?
Are you asking how to get the battery % on Cyanogen or how to on the stock ROM?

If you can de-odex your stock ROM's /system/framework folder, then you might be able to take the necessary .smali files and rebuild the classes.dex of the stock services.jar, and it might work. There are a lot of mights involved with that though.

There is a morph to change the H icons to 3G icons. I don't see why people hate seeing that icon so much. It must be so much better than only getting to see the E. Also, there is a morph to make the power control icons green.
Edit:
Searched and didn't see the morph, thought I had saw one a few days ago.

So there is morph that will changes the blue images back to green.

MORPH THEMES FOR ENOMTHER TheOfficialNexus 1.8.1

Seems like all the themes are for CM.
Are there themes, good ones, that any of you use for Enom's 1.8.1???
If so, where and how can I install them?
Thanks guys!

If it is a morph, then unless it contains .xml or .dex files then it will work for Enomther's ROM as long as the .apk's are in the same location as specified in the .thm file of the morph.
To my knowledge, most of the major themes are available for Cyanogen's and Enomther's ROM.
The thread should say in the OP what ROMs it will work for and if is a flashable file, then the downloads should be separated by ROM, the same if it is morph that contains either .xml or .dex files.
You install morphs via MetaMorph. There is a sticky on morphs and discussions of them. There is a guide on how to install morphs via MetaMorph in one of them.
Flashable files are placed on the sdcard and flashed from recovery just like you flash a ROM, except, you do NOT wipe when flashing a theme UNLESS it is a full ROM, then there would be explicit warnings that the theme is actually a themed ROM with proper notices about wiping and such.
"good ones" is a relative term and can really only be determined by yourself. The screen shots are usually fairly low quality and don't truly give it justice to how it looks on the phone.
If you want to just test out a theme and don't know whether or not you will want to keep it on your phone for a period of time, then the best thing to do is make a nandroid in recovery before applying the morph of flashing the theme.

[request] Vanilla theme for Jerpelea's AOSP 2.1 ROM - White Theme - Advice Please!

Hey all,
while i love the latest ROM that jerpelea has released (007), i am actually still quite a fan of the white vanilla theme. I can perfectly understand J's reasons behind theming his release, however i personally love the white look.
im more after advice than someone to create a theme for me, if i replaced the framework-res.apk with the one from the b006 AOSP release would this work? Jerpelea has replaced a few icons and set the statusbar black, but other than that i am not sure. I thought all that was done via the framework-res file.
if i replace the file, but not any customised apk's (if any) will the phone boot and have a mixed theme or not boot at all?
any advise would be appreciated
Hi,
I'm agree .. build b007 is great, but personaly i don't like design of AOSP 2.1 last version
I already work on a new design for this ROM & i'll release that, soon
regards
SEMPITERNAL
cool cool, let me know if u want me to test anything.
any thoughts on what i said about replacing the framework file with the one from b006?
i might just backup and try it myself. gotta love the xrecovery menu!
Did the clock in the status bar get changed to white? from the sneak peak shots kat night I saw it was black on black, so if it's still black clock then you could swap the status bar and the icons from 006 and place them in the 007 framework and then push out to your phone. Of course back up the ron in recovery just in case of any mistakes and you only get the sony screen on reboot after making the changes.

yeah i bricked it with just changing the framework-res.apk file on its own.....restored with xrecovery so all good.
so you are saying that i should copy all files from within the framework folder from the b006 ROM? i can give that a crack soon.
last time i copied just the one file over (framework-res.apk) using root explorer.
btw, this is what it looks like in the latest rom. i like it, but i just like the white more (i think it is the novelty of having an almost stock rom on the x10 )
ok i have managed to rip the entire contents from the /system/framework folder on the b006 ROM now. can anyone tell me how many of these files i need to push back over, and in what order? i would imagine that i need to do the actual framework-res.apk file last as this one reboots the phone when i change it.
Oh he changed the time to white as well then kit should work just putting the items from the drawable-hdpi folder that'd in res on 006 over to the 007 although now that he changed the clock to white the click won't show up on the status bar. PM me both frameworks and I can see what I can do for ya. Might be able to use dx2000's sense theme to make it happen.

EDIT: Actually come to think of it, won't changing the services.jar file change J's fixes to radio right at startup in 007? I mean, it still worked in 006, but it takes a minute or two to actually kick in.

Have a screenshot?
If you are comfortable pulling your own framework-res.apk, you can use UOT Kitchen to make your own custom circle battery icon. If you are just using the stock framework, check to see if UOT already has it. If they do not, pull it out of the ROM's zip file.
If you have already modified your framework-res in some way (like flashed a theme) then pull it directly from your phone to use on UOT kitchen.
Make a nandroid backup, of course, but so far I've had 100% success using UOT Kitchen.

Here are some of the PNG files being used by g00gl3's attachment.
If you're ever curious, you can always explore an .apk file using a zip program. I opened g00gl3's attached zip, navigated to system/framework, then opened framework-res.apk
Inside of framework-res, look for the .png files that start with "stat_sys_battery"
In this case, they can be found under res/drawable-hdpi-v4

[Q] Will Themes from the International One X work for us?

Shouldn't the themes for the International One X work for us as well? Especially since there's a new way of theming that just replaces the graphical stuff and not the actual apk. They say it should work on most devices with same sense versions. We have the same sense version, same resolution same buttons etc. I've tried a few but the developers have a model check and they abort. The one that i found over there that did not do a model check worked fine. Could someone with experience with themes chime in please? thanks!
EDIT. I'm only talking about themes With the villain theming system. It does not replace the apks, only mods them.

As a user, you don't need to know much - just flash this zip like a regular zip, and you'll get your theme running. But you should be able to apply themes to any device, ROM, and version of the ROM, without it causing adverse effects. That means less time spent by themers making the original theme, and less time spent modifying it constantly for new versions of ROMs.
Features..
Will modify APKs in a ROM, without changing signatures, and can be used on any ROM where the filenames of themed files is the same.
Should not need updated between versions of a ROM
Zipaligns all APKs before installation
Stores a backup of all files being modified in /cache/vrtheme-backup/
Requires no coding abilities or editing of files - just drag and drop
Can copy "raw" files, though at risk of not working on other devices

What "new theming method" are you talking about?
The only type of themeing I've seen is replacing system files, like SystemUI.apk and stuff.
It that's the case, then no it won't work.

I installed this theme without issues. Was made using villain theme system for the International one X
Quote from changelog of this theme
UPDATE 21 May: After a lot of tweaking and tinkering, have managed to make the theme work with the VillainTheme system. This means that it should now work with any ROM, and shouldn't affect any of the ROM dev's individual tweaks.
The theme modifies the following system apks:
framework-res.apk
SystemUI.apk
com.htc.resources.apk
fusion.apk

Sense 4 is sense 4 as far as I know. I'm sure you can remove the model check form the update script. link one you'd like to install and I'll check it out
That's definitely not a good idea. Most Sense themes contain the SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk. So if the rom your using on your AT&T One X has any mods done to any of those apk's you will loose them and if the rom that the theme was built for has any mods done to those apk's you will more than likely have issues. If there is a specific theme you like, get me the link and I will try to port it over.
