I use a custom ROM so I don't have the original Copilot installed on my phone. I use the version I downloaded and installed. It's all great but the shortcut for it only has a low resolution icon that looks horrible on the HD2 main screen. Would somebody mind uploading their shortcut for the HTC originally included version of Copilot so I can use it? I can edit the shortcut path no problem.

Hi - I am in exactly the same position as you!
I'm a paid up Copilot user, I have d/l the custom HD2 v8.0.0.659 install from the ALK HTC mini-site, installed it and it works relatively fine on my Dutty ROM (slight issue with the rotation between landscape and portrait / vice versa not being as smooth - I suspect this is because the ROM might be enabled to rotate every app and therefore trying to do it twice.. perhaps there is a whitelist?). Only real 'issue' is the ugly icon as you state!

Hi Guys, I don't personally use CoPilot (I use TomTom), but recently I am on mission to design my own Glass effect transparent icons, and I have designed some for CoPilot as well.
I am attaching here with the preview files so you can see how would they look like.
(HINT: Just use the TRANSPARENT PNG ones, because the background ones are just for your preview)
Please let me know if they would be useful.
(btw I am using "Icon Changer" for the icon replacement on my HD2)

I installed your app... on the 96 dpi rom. It looks good and it works quite well. I don't really know what i did but I managed to make it look tha same on the portrait and landscape layouts. at first it would take off the background in landscape.
The X symbol is because you don't have the location ID for the city you are in.

tell more - location ID who? in the phone or what?
go to yahoo weather and search for location id. You'll find your city there.
i've got the right location number : GMXX4381
but by weather forecast there're the red X-Symbols again!
Hm I had this problem once, because there was no 10-day forecast! Yes, just what I thought. I tried your location ID and there is no 10 day forecast, that's why it's nt working.

(1) It does not get uninstalled. Reflashing OS only removes it cleanly.
(2) Sometimes the font is oversized in the current weather panel which cannot be fixed.
(3) The phone also hangs or becomes non responsive occassionally.
Any solution to these

3) set update the homescreen to No. Otherwise the phone locks up.

No, it only works with WM6.1 Chome: I asked the same in the thread in the Excalibur section, and that was the answer.
I suggest you to try Mini Weather (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392267); it works also with WM6, not as a plugin but redesigning the background (so using no system resources).
Choosing the right icons it can produce nice results: you can see here the theme I use on my Wings.
what about uninstall procedure? is there any fix for that?
Can someone post the beta VOX installer for NRG Weather 3.0? The link in the original post in the excalibur format is broken now and no one over there seems to have the file!

i know there are a bunch of threads out there already which deal with themes and tf3dconfig 0.6.7 and everything. but it seems like there's been quite a few issues with the original o2 ROM TF3D and the attempt to install the black htc theme.
I tried to use tf3dconfig 0.6.7 and use the diamond htc black theme here from the forum. The installation works quite alright, everything seems nice but the music player doesn't show the artist/genre/track/album horizontal menu and also is the list of applications black on black.
Maybe there are a few manila files missing or something?
I don't really want to flash my rom since there's only a beta out of the german romeos and i need a stable working phone - but the blue o2 theme is really ugly.
Are there any ideas out there what's going wrong and how to fix that problem? Or could you tell me which manila files have to be edited in order to see the custom menu bar in the music player and the black font color in the list of all applications?
I think this is also happening with the Vodafone Version of TF3D

Yes, I have the exact same problem as well with my Vodaphone Touch Pro, I've scouted through the forums for hours while at college and have not seen a solution for this, I'm guessing the only work around would be to flash the phone?
Same problem here. Have a MDA Vario IV (T-Mobile Version) and I have the same issue as you when installing the original theme.
I am searching for a solution for two days now and I haven't find anything yet.
I don't need the original HTC theme, I would be lucky with any "magentaless theme" that works.
I have found a working black theme, but it is on german.

I installed the theme. It's not that slow that I can't use it but with the original T-Mobile theme TF3D was much faster.
well i installed it just now and it isn't slower than the o2 tf3d version really.
but if you go to settings -> connections this page appears still in blue in tf3d but i don't really mind that (i don't open that page too often since i have secondtoday)
do you know how i can change the dropdown background when i click on start in the upper left corner? cause that's still blue too

go to start - settings - today and there are the themes for wm6.1.

with the t-mobile theme the first screen (the one with the clock) was there immediately when I switched to it on tf3d. now it needs half a second, but it is ok for me.

Hi just wondering if anyone knows how to or a guide to create and change the manilla 2.6 icons to hi res, most of the htc ones are fine anyway, its just the manilla launch icons are bigger than the windows mobile 6.5 ones and im not sure how to change the for example tomtom navigator one as it just uses the standard low res icon. I think when you choose the icons it resizes itself to needed size.
since i moved to windows mobile i use only english for contacts,
now i use free hebrew support so i dont have this option.
you say you had this option before so maybe you had full hebrew support like EYERON or something...

I have this version of Manila cooked in EnergyROM so I have this big White Clock with weather, Call History and Calendar beneath. When one slide a finger up on the clock it gets minimalized to much smaller one at the top of the screen and there is plenty room under Calendar for e.g. shortcut to camera, browser, notes... whatever!
Is this possible to put some icons there. It would be... fantastic! I'm using HTC Touch Pro with again: Manila 2.1.19202517 cooked in EnergyROM Phoenix 2 (WM6.5).

Thanks man, but I did so many changes to my present software (I have loaded tons of CAB files so far) and personalized TP on my own way that doing it all again with another ROM is a little bit scary
After all You have to HR the phone after installing a new ROM and all Your data and personalization is lost, right?
Maybe simply there is a CAB to do what I want without changing absolutely everything?
Or is there a way to back up all my data and presets... installing a brand new ROM... and then restore my programs, personalization and all?
im looking for the same thing, i couldnt get 2.5 to work with MMS picture mail so i went back to 2.1 and i want the program shortcuts on the home tab also.. is there such a thing for 2.1?

it doesn't change HDwallpaper. Only the default style of wallpaper.

I have over 100 hi rez images in a folder on my sd card and this app changes my home screen every 15 mins....love it !!!

I have already 500, downloading 7,000 now, hehehe.
I really like to see those beautiful images in my lock, home and menu screens.
This little program is probably the second I like the most for HD2, behing Cookies Home Tab.

can't be helped...HDwalls requires a reset after every change iirc (basically installs a cab everytime u change)...this one doesn't.
Works just fine on my HD2 with Miri V7.1 ... Cookie Home Mods and XDA HQ Wallpaper Patch. Great little App ... Thanks
