Ok I just got my Diamond. I installed the Manila Customizer. I have some questions!
I have been able to install some of the files to add more clocks and stuff, but not others. It's like they are missing a file. Like the Benrus clock, Blackfire clock, or the Metal clock2 for example.
Then there are the ones that are cabs. Do I have uninstall them when I want to use a different clock or does it install them in the Manila program?
I also see themes out there. How does those work? Where do I put them?
Sorry I know this probably seems like stupid questions, but I'm lost!
Thank you,
Susan

well i haven't used mailla3d customizer but i have a tilt and have used manilla 2d customizer to set different themese for m2d. Basically to install a theme (a whole theme clock, background, etc everything) you have to copy the theme to the theme folder under the manilla customizer program folder:
e.g.
Programs ---> M2DC (u will probably have M3DC or tf3dc as diamond has tf3d) --> themes (this is the folder where you put the themes in.
most themes come in .zip format or .m2dct (again in your case it most likely will be .m3dct).
Also if you check out the diamond forum there is a whole thread on the manilla tf3d customizer and also threads on themes for tf3d.
tf3d customizer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749
full themes for tf3d: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2784134&postcount=2
more tf3d customizing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2784134
manilla customizer (tf3d themes won't work with this): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437420
Hope this helps.
Hi, I want to get animated wallpapers from Windows 6.5
thanks in advance
It's not only one animated picture, it includes background picture and a few manila files which makes animation.

Is this true? They look like just png files to me. Which manila files control the animation. I may take a look to see if we can figure out how to create new ones
I want to crate one, but first I want to know the structure. Probably it is PNG file, then manila file controls layers with some scripts.
e.g. qtc files 0fe731fb_manila, 1f3e9503_manila, 4f9f64c9_manila, 286717a1_manila, 004e6c19_manila, 00729d1b_manila, and other. I saw there is mode9 file as well. These are from dutty's Leo R3. Use m9editor and manila 2.5 name list.
Had a little extra time on my hands and decided to make a couple of clocks for manila 2.5. First of all thanx to the creator of CFC GUI .60.35 - THE Manila/TF3D Image Editor and NRGZ28 for his carbon clock. I went ahead and made two variations of the carbon clock, a black carbon and blue carbon.
Here they are....
11/23/09 - Graffiti Clock
Really nice, but for what manila version are those clocks?
Since you see the shortcuts on the home page I guess it's the 2.5 brand.
That's looking real good!
I see that's winmo 6.5.1 that you are running, but what about the rest of the UI? that's a theme? It seems that the fonts and shortcuts down there are different.
What did you use to that effect?
Thanks!
Thanks! iam using the jw black theme for windows. the task bar i found while searching through the forums. And the shortcuts are from the manila 2.5. I just went ahead and edited the slider, icons, and clock. Still got some work to do before I completely customized my device!
[edit] nevermind! a search on jw black theme gave me a good result but! the wallpaper is real nice, any chance you could give more info on it? Thanks!
Looks real good, especially the 3rd one.
I am using the clock, but would like to get all the rest (at least the wallpaper and font).
Any chance you can be more specific about files names or maybe you could share what you created? That would be really great
THANKs .
not a problem, iam using the kabel system font, found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532633
and ive attached the wallpaper iam using.
as for the slider ill post that one as soon as iam done editing it. iam compiling icons that coincide with windows mobile (i.e. opera for the internet tab, zune for the music player, outlook express for email tab and so forth) it should be done soon, just editing the taskbar and softkey skins to match the slider.
Thank you for all the info
And for your hard work!
Cheers
any chance in making the "AM~PM" on the clock white also?
yeah new clock for my sense 2.5
Thanks a lot have been looking for a new clock for my sense 2.5 long time and yeah yours works.
Nice look these clocks!
here are the manila files for a white am and pm on the clock. just unzip and copy to windows directory.
any tutorial
Hi bruc410,
could you provide me a short tutorial how to make a clock skin for Manila 2.5?
or is there any tutorial in this forum?
Thanks!
You need photoshop, a manila editor (preferably cfc-gui-only-0.60.35), and finally the original manila 2.5 file, found here http://code.google.com/p/manilavga/...ManilaOriginalWVGA-2_5_19211619_0.7z&can=2&q=. All you have to do is unzip the manila files and then open up manila editor and select the core folder from your manila 2.5 file. From there just save the original clock files to your computer as a png then edit them to your liking and replace them with the manila editor. Finally copy the edited manila files to your windows directory. Thats about it. Sorry if my directions are a little thrown together but i pretty much figured this out on my own. The good thing is once you get the hang of it you can customize the entire manila 2.5. Hope this answers your question.

how can i make i cab with my own icons to use it as a slider bar?
any program?
format file? png?
and size 48x48?
and the same questions about the icons in the today screen...
any help
manila graphics saved as manila files like *_manila you need app to convert manila to png (m9editor and such) then edit png then convert back to manila and replace in windows folder.
to know file names easiest way is to find ready icons someone maid extract cab and see file names.
and how can i rename the icons in my languange??
Howdy there,

Have fun,
Senax
As the titles says i need to find sense/manila weather icons so i can use them with my WAD theme.
Look all over but no luck. So if you have them or know where to get them that would be great.
I would try grabbing them from M2D. Sense uses layers, so it's not something you can just export.
Moved as not software release.
There available in M2D theme's as .png's or you can grab a TF3D theme and extract the images.
can you please think me to the threads?
Thinking about it the Sense ones will be animated in TF3D but you could use M2D "which are same just not animated" here is a link to the .cab to which could be extracted.
Also here is a thread with lots of M2D themes in the later will be the ones you want there also a nice set by beyond invisible in the thread.
