Can anybody help to remove some of programs. The memory for programs remained only 1.4 to 4.9 MB. The total memory is 49.21 MB but memory in use is about 46 MB.
It is too much memory used for programs. I need to to be removed:
Remote Desktop; Total commander; facebook; calculator.;
For doing this, it can be donated.

Tomal 6.5 v12 for 64MB devices.[ROM] Windows Mobile 6.5 biuld: 5.2.23089 [ROM] The RAM memory should not less than 18 MB
Please test for working on Exec. It'd better to be shown earlier than 13/02.

Have you tried clearing you IE/Opera cache? That may have built up (and anything else that caches to main memory).
NB. This is really off-topic, you should have started a new thread.

No sir, event I have just upgrade, it is about 10 MB remain. Ofcourse I have other information need to restore including contacts, messages, calendar.. then When I finished my restoring work, the memory came to 1.xxx MB

O2 exec ---- buddy , you must have a nice 128 MB ram Exec to run 6.5 without worrying about the RAM.I have one and it's worth it.

Hello, I use the same rom that you with memmaid configured to have maximum mem available. I use also advanced config and save everything in my 16 gb class6 SD. No big memory problem yet. I can work with all except surf the web (i use net front but shows out of memmory...no problem, with my uni I only need to read my emails)

Thanks to this site I was able to update my Himalaya to this rom: "Helmi Himalaya AKU3.5 ROM SP2". And actually I quite love it!
There is only one thing that's still open for me...
Storage...it's divided up like this:
Storage: 14,54 MB total
Program: 61,29 MB total
Ramdisk: 47,96 MB total
the problem I have is that the Storage is so low :/ All programs that I wanna install, I try to install to the RAMDISK....and sofar so good. But there are some that don't ask where they should go...like ".net cf2 runtimes" and so on....no I'm down to 2,66 MB....that's very low :/
Is there a way to extend the storage?
Or am I missing something?

You need Hima DOCTool to extsnd storage to 30 MB.

Finally, downloaded, first impresion : Yep thats what tigers likes most
Fast, clean, +-30MB after sr.
On real vga 128dpi works excelent very fast.
Thats what i heave to say after hour uising.

with all due respect m3oulla,
1st: currently, there are only two available roms flashable to enable 128Mb RAM on Uni; mamaich's & Lt.Cmdr.Ivan. so, if KOR is right then nncuong's ROM is the third!
2nd: currently, there are only three rom cooks who had managed to enable flash disk in their roms; mamaich & nncuong (nncuong claims that his flash disk was initially based on @anonymous rom. so, @anonymous must be the the 1st).
why the fuzz about flash disk?
1. in KOR's case, he can install the10Mb arabizer in a faster storage than SD Card. in mine, i install and access fast all the commonly big programs in it!
2. try to remove the SD Card in the slot & check how much program memory you gain - at least 1Mb! insignificant if you have 128Mb upgraded uni but so much for a standard 64Mb uni.
in all cases and in my opinion its TITANIC!!!
cheers bro, hope to see Flash Disk (specially since your ROM is vanilla) & 128Mb RAM support in your next ROM.

compliments to you & the beast for your latest ROM release. it's damn good, 'beautiful' & stable. one thing missing though - the flash disk!
i hope you can incorporate the flash disk & 128Mb RAM support in your next release.

Why does everybody wants the flashdisk?
Today, we can have 8GB SDHC-Cards and then are 20 MB needed!?!?
It also doesn't works on G4 and the data doesn't stay after hard-reset!

is it really stable? the beta has wpa-psk/tkip problem too & freezes a lot!
i wonder why nncuong never releases his newer rom's here. imho, his roms are the snappiest around although, not the most stable one! and don't flame me, i tried them all!

not everybody Max, only us G3 owners! it's a waste & unused anyway if not activated.
i also dare to challenge you that i can run my programs faster in it than your biggest & fastest sdhc cards!

but I hate when someone take already working build on its base he built mod ... then its posting in this tread ... then its new rom transforming our branch here in a piece of crap ...

What kind of your UNI? 64M or 128M
'Cause with 64 Mega ram, i don't recommend a 6.5 rom. 6.1 roms are much faster...

There is several ROM´s like that but all will depend on the soft/apps you load to it, the best way is to keep as clean as possible so faster will be.
Try Tomal 8.5
And please have a deep read in the Wiki

after trying all roms, rdosti v11 is the best because the most free ram. tomal 's roms are good also and stick with 6.1 with 64 meg devices.
Try luca15thebig WM6.5 WWE v2.0.5 vanilla, after boot up about 29,5 free RAMs, if it is clean. I have installed the same programs as it was when i had tomal v8.9, and i have about 28 free rams, in tomal i had only 25. I have also installed wm6.5 home screen and now my uni has 25,81 mb of free rams after reboot.
I just flashed my 64Mb device with Thingonaspring WM6.1_21040_21051 V1.1 , it's incredibly fast, 33Mb ram available!

I recommend Tomal 8.5
See in settings-system-memory how much RAM you have to determine if it´s 128 or 64Mb (the normal Universal comes with 64Mb)

Try ROM WM 6.1 - Tomal 8.5 Standard 64MB.
If U have read wiki, and U have courage and dare to take the risk, U can also update your Radio to 1.15. (this radio version is ok with Tomal 8.5) If not, Ur previous version of radio is fine.
After upgrade, For MMS - U can install Dutty Arcsoft MMS 5.0.27.43.VGA.146
For Java - U can install Cloudyfa EsmertecJbed Midlet
For Voice command - U can install Cyberon Voice Speed Dial 1.2

Try Total Commander Program (Disskette Icon with CE write on it)
After the program opened, choose :
Show --> Two Window Mode
and then choose Two window mode and vertical aligment.
Then there are 2 windows, up and below.
Then choose different directory in these 2 windows.
U can drag file between window, it then will pop up menu to choose : copy / move ...

I need fast WM6.5 ROM with around ~28/29mb of free RAM on 64mb Uni .
Good if it will be one of Beta builds but probalby it's impossible to get that amount on only 64mb RAM. So one choice is that with bars placed same like in WM6.1 and older. Must be WWE lang.

Your best option will be on 6.1 with thingonaspring lotsa RAM V1.1

Already I use goldrake WM6.1 because it have much free Ram too, battery life is good (on LotsaRAM battery drained much faster ) and is stable. Maybe I will be back to it but now I want some graphics oriented ROM :] WM6.5 is pretty for that

yes it has 30mb free after reset and then going to 28mb.
ROM that Win_XP posted is very nice and fast too. Battery life for me is even batter than on Goldrake's ROM but he's WM6.1 is nice too. I'm coming to try luca's ROM now

I think he meant how to remove apps that are default in cooked ROM included by cook not installed by him.
Ah, oh I see.
You can't remove apps from a ROM.
If you don't want to see them, just delete the shortcut from "\Windows\Start Menu\" folder.
The only way to remove apps from a ROM is to re-cook it yourself. If the cook supplies their kitchen, this is the easier way. Take a deep breath before you think about cooking

I tryed this ROM, but when I want to restore from SPB Backup created backup exe, then the NEXT button not displayed at the screen, When I can't press NEXT then I can't continue the restore :-(
I have a same issue with Tomal 9.0 ROM. (In Tomal 8.2, 8.9, 10, 12, 12.1 works the restore)
