i think aku 3.5 cant suggest more den 4 word
i try and the same result that will uncheck the word completion function.
Tried around a little bit. Everything seems to work perfect at top-speed.

Hi, I've updated from your AKU 3.2 version.
I've got an error each time I want to connect to via GPRS to Internet . Explorer says "the address is not valid. Check the address and try again".

What about zoom SMS? Is it included in this rom? Did you use crossbow as default skin? Or in short, what are the differences with tof's aku 3.5, PLEASE?

First impression: Great!
Some problems though:
1. Wireless manager: When putting in to Flightmode the function to reactivate phone doesn't work.
2. Tomtom 6.0 when installing it turns off the backlight and each time you restart Tomtom it turns the backlight of again but only when running TT6 after shutting down application the backlight turns on again.
But all in all great thanx

Very much happy to Flash this Rom In PHONE (currently I was Using XDA2 With older rom you had posted.Since i have flashed this rom,this rom is excelant but found some bug in this rom 1) dial pad lights doesnt switch off when back light off on screen 2) Sd card stopped reading automatically.
i am very much disappointed as i have tried my best to work on it but SD card doesnt show in filemanager(default ),require your help for the same if there is any registery Editing required for it.

On most XDA's you cannot use the flightmode. This is a known problem U need a third party program.
must I look for radio component first even If I don't want to upgrage radio version..? or I can upgrade directly with this ROM

Suggestions:
I would suggest unzipping the kitchen first, which you'll have a couple files and a folder called flashing and one called tools.
In this location, add the OS folders SYS and ROM.
Also in this location, add the folder called OEM.

Flash Player not working in PIE. No solution identified / not included
X-Button 1.5 causes theme / today screen issues. I don't recommend you install the X-Button 1.5 cab until a fix is found

In the OEM folder "Standard Reg Tweaks" are some of what he had. Here's the .rgu file from Faria's setup which has the registry settings. If you need the entire folder, you can download it from the sticky.

Easiest way is to just copy the entire folder 'x-faria settings' into your OEM folder. As long as there's no opxtions.xml file in it, it'll be included in the build.

i have it exactly like x-faria settings file (notepad can open it)
for example if i copy all the registries from mine and paste theme on the same x-faria settings file will it work??
for more clear (just example)

After I cooked and flashed a rom made with your great kitchen my phone won't boot correctly. It doesn't show me the configuration (align) screen. There's only the Taskbar and the welcomehead screen.
I had this problem everytime is used a RK.
Any suggestions?

Did You include teh FWUPDATE package?

does this base have the same free-mem specs as your 1.03 pandora base? might you be willing to include them on the 1st post?
also, outside of trial and error...is there an easy way to estimate how many OEM packages you can include without hitting the max rom space? it would be sweet if as one checked off the tick boxes in BuildOS that it automatically determined the amount of free rom space available...or if we knew exactly how much each OEM package used individually once installed ( not sure if it's the same number I see before the flash ).

Thanks I had already found it but thanks anyway...
My nk.nbf has gotten more than 120MB so I believe I did something what I should not have done with nb2nbf.exe.
Should I follow exactly Faria s guide ( filling out IPL Radio, Splash etc with those numbers even though the package contains no stuff like that )

User Customization is a config.txt file that's located on an SD card which can install cab & xml files located there too! Think about it: this gives anyone who loads your rom the ability to automatically install their preferred apps/settings as part of customization. Here's how to make your next ROM UC compliant:
Cook the attached SDAutoRun.exe into \windows
Replace the "RST: Reset" line in config.txt with "EXEC: \windows\SDAutoRun.exe"

Thank you for the tip Beastyleo, but the link is to a Hermes thread, and I want to post cabs tested in the Uni.
I don't know what cabs would work in Universal, but at least the QVGA themes and dialpads will look pixelized in our VGA Uni.

I use QuickMenu 2.7 - this replaces the StartMenu, displays running tasks, enables close button to become that and more. Only a 22k footprint.

I downloaded it from freewarepocketpc, or you can read translated homepage using Google
I don't know whether to cross-post this to Beasty & Laurentius.. ROM, but hope they see it here.
I find pBar and others don't handle the close button properly when it's [ok] rather than [x].

I've given this application a try on my Exec for one entire day, but I've experienced general freezes with it. Right after removing it and soft resetting, my device, everything is back to normal again. Just my 2 cents...

i have never really cooked a rom but i am somewhat familiar with the rom kitchen..i am looking to take a default sip from one rom (gullums throttle diamond rom) and cook it into another rom (currently using garmin dk1Final) replacing the default sip with gullums diamond sip which works in opera9 using the keyboard/keypad xt9 set. What files do i need to copy over? and what all is necesary to make this change...any help would be appreciated.

I don't use kitchen and work w/ "dump" directory directory (since kitchen has to put lots of junk files in the rom)
Basically, you need to extract the files and registry from gullums' diamond using WinCE Cab manager. Put the files under "dump" directory (which will under /Windows after the rom is cooked), and your registry setting to default.hv. I think this is what I use for my rom

have you tested the diamond keypad/keyboard with opera mobile 9.xxx (ive tested with all alphas and it works but not the announced beta which continuously reverts back to the htc standard keyboard)? Thats my main focus is to have it work because if it isnt set as the default sip from boot than i think opera has issues
oh and i cant extract it..i tried directly opening it in win ce cab mngr and no lock...tried changing extensions and no luck

You can switch today profiles with SK Today Commander. You have to pay for it (maybe 10 bucks), but it works really well.
can't beat free: esp when it works this well
