Hi everyone,
Just regged. onto the site after finding it on a websearch. I was looking to sim unlock my XdaIIi & quicky found the tool to do so. However when I try to download the file the screen keeps returning to 'User & Pword' screen! Do I have to be a member for a certain period of time before I can download any files?
Sorry for the total newbie question but how else will I learn if I dont ask.

go to "alpine" forum and check there
and you can download as much as you want as long as you are logged in...doesn't matter how long

How to restore original omnia rom?

Hallo there
Im not really familiar with pocket pc phones. I recently installed manila rom at my samsung omnia, but i really need to go back to the original rom from samsung but i dont the really know the....how to?

newbie here..

Hi all,
been searchin for a while and found alot of info
but i dont have the knowhow or the equip to flash my phone.
I have a dopod p800 (china mobile) windows mobile 5.
the phone was given to me.
my question is ...
Is there a way to get the factory setup just in english? (reflash?)
If so is there someone on here that does or would do it for donations to the board,etc, or?
just need it to be like a factory one with win5 or possibly win6.. i dont have the hardware and am not sure as im not up on this stuff...

[Q] ROM help

sup xda. im a complete noob here. before windows mobile i had a blackberry. i just switched to the omnia i920. its a good phone overall. but im completely confused with the ROM stuff. to start off, i found this pretty cool Ninja4hire NonSense i920 ROM. when i download it the file comes out as a 7z file. what do i need to do to put it on my phone? do i need to flash my phone? if so how? thanx in advance!

So for starters, you should visit this section where there are all the guides that walk you through how to flash android .
Also there are 2 ways to run android on the HD2 i.e
1) run it on your SD card - this allows you to run windows then boot android on top of windows (personally i'm not a fan of this, but there are reasons why one may like this approach)
2)Nand - This allows you to boot your HD2 as an android phone
There will be a lot of reading for you to do, and always search the forum and you will find tons of answers.
