I am trying to play videos on the youtube app, they say "Connecting..." for minutes before it plays. Once it starts it plays fine, but I don't know why it takes forever to connect... I have good signal and I was able to play it fine on my N97, so I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

Just got this awesome phone yesterday and I've been running it through my new phone tests. I wanted to try out the HDMI output to my TV and it is incredible! It output movies, maps, browser, etc just fine. When I went to play NOVA, it worked perfectly at first.
After a few minutes of playing, the audio on the TV stopped working. The game still played fine, but with no audio. I unplugged to HDMI cord from the phone and the sound on the phone no longer worked. I tried making phone calls, listening to voice mails on Google voice, playing movies/games and nothing would fix the lack of sound. (And yes, I did make sure media volume was all the way up.) I ended up having to reboot my phone and everything went back to working fine again.
I am able to duplicate this problem every time I have the HDMI cable plugged in for a few minutes (regardless of what app I am using). Has anyone else had this issue?
i had the same issue though it happened before connecting to an outgoing call and then later while playing some games via HDMI
I watched a Thor bootleg the day before the movie hit USA and it played just fine. Watched it again last night with a friend and again the whole movie played fine with us even watching some youtube vids on the big screen before hand.
I LOVE THIS PHONE!

What brand is your cable and how long is it?
I experienced the audio loss similar to the OP, but mine wasn't permanent. After about 15 minutes of playing some games via HDMI the sound would die for a few seconds, but then it would be normal. Sometimes the video signal would get lost as well, but would come back on in a few seconds.
However, I watched some youtube clips and didn't have any issues.
I bought mine from buy.com. It didn't even list the brand, but it was only $6.40 with free shipping. 6ft.
Come to think of it... I did notice when i played games all was fine. but playing videos the picture would cut out after a few seconds no matter what
mines have the same problems but when I play videos i recently captured or shot, the audio echoes really bad
Hi,
Ive installed the Nexus wireless charging pad, in my car. It charges and works fine, but when I play spotify the music stutters all the time. Might get 3-4 min of clean music, but then it goes back to stuttering. I tought at first it might be because of low signal to the 4g network. Ive checked with full signal strenght and it still stutters. Tomtom even stutters when I use it with voice directions, and that app is offline.
Anyone got similar problems, or know how to fix it?
Cheers!
I remember reading a while back that Google Music had added gapless playback support, but it's not working for me (either on my phone or computer, actually). All the digging I've done says if you enable the equalizer it will be fixed, but I can't figure out how to do that at all. Can anyone tell me?

It's also started playing music when it connects to my car stereo much less reliably. I used to get in and a few seconds later I was streaming music. Now, BT connects and a lot of the time it never plays a song at all, other times it will automatically take one but take as long as 5 minutes, and occasionally it will immediately start playing. What's going on here and how do I make it work the way it should?
Hello
i purchased CS918 last week, and i have a little but annoying problem
when i stream a video it stops after exactly 5 minutes, if i open the streaming link again it will resume but still for exactly 5 minutes and stops again.
The video is smooth, doesnt freeze or anything.
In XBMC\Youtube it works fine, no stopping,
i tried changing players still doesnt help, tried switching between Wifi and Ethernet still the same.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Looked at all the other posts couldn't find any answers that solved it. So have a OnePlus 7 Pro 12/256. Build 9.5.11GM21AA. Verizon SIM 1, AT&T SIM2. Car is a 2018 BMW X1 and I get a easy to pair with the car. However when I play Google Play Music, YouTube, Plex to test, I constant get 4-10 seconds of audio then a disconnect. Phone then takes 10 min to connect again plays audio for 4-10 seconds and repeat over and over and over. Have two profiles installed personal and encrypted for work. Cleared Bluetooth app (Both of them) with cache and data. Developer mode enabled and tried all Bluetooth Codec's with no change?
Any thoughts from the rest of you all?
I have the same issue with the same phone, build 9.5.11GM21BA and a Mini Countryman 2018 (quite possible same infotainment system as BMW), and it will disconnect about 10 sec after starting to play music, and reconnect "only" take about 30 seconds or so, then play music for about 10 second and disconnect again, going on like this forever.
BUT if I restart my phone after a disconnect, then I can play music without any further disconnect until I arrive at my destination. Next time I connnect to the car it will disconnect again when music starts, and I can again restart my phone to "fix" it, but it's REALLY annoying! Also tried all codec's in developer mode.
Anyone know if it's possible to fix this without those restarts?
I have a similar issue in my 2015 m235i, only difference for me is that when I start to play something on google play the Bluetooth disconnects in the infotainment and then comes back after about 10sec. It happens every time I choose a song in google play music. Mine does end up playing once it's started though
