Does anyone know a good alarm clock app. for the HD2? Thanks..
Please, as a new member, try looking around first (use the search function) and read the forum rules.
You are now creating a thread in the ROM Development section. As your question has nothing to do with ROM Development, you should at least ask it in the appropriate section.
However, using the search function, a lot of other threads about Alarm issues and applications can be found easily.
Nevertheless......Welcome

Just do a google search for galarm its a great WM alarm program which I personally use. The latest version is shareware but if you want the free version then galarm 1.5.1 is free and still very powerful.
Free version attached
I'll do so next time.!! Thank you for helping.

Ciao,
I'm a recent fan of facebook, didn't like the idea of it at first but now I ended up having lot's of contacts.
I took a look around searching for a WM6 app to use it (no web browser thanks) but I couldn't find (maybe it's my fault) any, on the other hand I heard that the iPhone has a very nice client (don't own one so I can't really tell how good it is).
After a quick search I found a good compact framework C# library HERE.
the question:
is there already a good WM6 ap for facebook ?
if not..would you guys be interessed in one (no point developping it just for myself)?
It would obvioussly be free for all of you, but I would be in need of every possible suggestion on features and look'n'feel
please post your comments....ciao
Marco

There has been a lot of question on how to program lately.
Before asking, please:
1) Do a search on the forums
2) Look at the sticky in the front of the forum (before it was moved). There is plenty of information on programming in the Wiki pages.
Good luck!
EDIT: app thread linked in following post
The thread is here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841646
(Not an android user so I can't answer your questions)
Thanks

I tried searching for 'XDA app,' but I guess thats too frequently used to find a thread dedicated to the app, so I thought I would start one in order to address certain issues with the XDA app.
Here are some complaints I have with the app:
1. It won't save my favorite threads. If I navigate to the thread, the menu tells me it is a favorite, yet the thread doesn't show up in my favorites tab.
2. Kind of minor, but I think adding a 'search this thread' option would be nice a well.
Can anyone else confirm these issues?

1. It will show in the favorite tab if you refresh the app. But I personnally prefer to mark it with the star so it is immediately displayed in my favorite threads.
2. I agree. The search function isn't very useful on the application as you get results from all the forum threads which makes it hard to find posts related to your question.
I found an application yesterday that has already proven useful. HERE IT IS It's an application organizer for the phone. I change phones frequently and I don't like having to set up the folder categories under apps each and every time. This does it for me. I thought I would pass it on for anyone else that might have similar situations.
Sorry but there is already a thread for sharing cool apps. Can you please repost your app share in the app discussion thread!
Thanks!
Recently the BBC app updated their UI with the stupid Material Design and buried everything in the navigation menu, the new design received very bad reviews from the users. Luckily I restored to the previous version via Titanium Backup, now is it a way to ignore the BBC app in Google Play, like hide it as you can do in Windows Update? I use manual update only.
Thanks.

i don't understand participants on this forum who give 1 star rating to a thread with a single post where a user is asking for some kind of help and answer. I find this a very legit question and would like to know the answer myself.
It is a legitimate question, maybe XDA members are just too dumb to come up with a solution, that's why they vote down my thread because the question is too difficult, they're too busy rooting their phone with new roms every day lol.
XDA members usually know to post questions in the Q&A sections.
And insulting members intelligence because they didn't see your question that's posted in the wrong section is a bit of a stretch? No?
Also.... Insulting members for not having the answers you need will surely make those that do know the answer keep it to themselves.
And so.... Thread closed.
