Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Android? - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps

Does anyone know if this is remotely possible to make an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard work with the Sprint Hero, or let alone any Android phone?
I know it's a matter of the bluetooth stack not supporting this in Android, but what's the update on that? Can it be hacked?

Tmobile G1 Bluetooth designed not to work

I have a Tmobile G1, I can use my bluetooth to connect with a bluetooth headset but cannot use the bluetooth to connect with another phone. I have contacted Tmobile and they said the phone was designed to only work with bluetooth headsets and NOT with othr phones.
Can anything be down-loaded or altered to allow bluetooth to work with other handsets?
Check the G1 Forum Section for a solution. Other users have probably had the same problem and someone should have come up with a solution by now

[Q] Anyone got Bluetooth HID working? I can pair and connect but no worky

With the latest Transformer firmware I have paired and connected an Apple Wireless keyboard. But typing doesn't do anything.
It's frustrating as it shows up as "Connected to input device".
Anyone else have any luck?

Have you installed a keyboard app?
I have a little mini bluetooth keyboard (no name chinese) which I usually use with my Galaxy Tab. Just tried it on my Transformer, and it works perfectly.
Regards,
Dave
I've got a think outside BT keyboard and it works perfectly with the Transformer...
Interesting it's working for you guys. Did you have to install anything? Or change any HC settings?
Maybe it's something to do with the Apple keyboard hardware.
I don't know why but I've always had trouble with Apple stuff that i've tried to connect to other non apple devices via bluetooth. Apple to apple bluetooth is always fine though which is strange. I don't know much about bluetooth but maybe apple products use a non-standard profile or something.
My Apple keyboard did not work either when pairing. I got another bluetooth keyboard out, and that worked correctly.
Looks like I need to get a new one.... Are there any Bluetooth keyboards with android keys like the search and menu keys?

Xoom Keyboard is only one I know available that is made with android keys. I think acer is coming out with one for Iconia and I foresee many 3rd party companies making one in near future.
I can confirm that the Apple Wireless key get paired, reckognized but...not working

I have this same problem, but I didn't know a keyboard app was required. Any suggestions on a good app?
i too am in a similar situation
Purchased the ZAGG bluetooth keyboard. It pairs fine and works with my iPad, and even my Galaxy Nexus. However on my Eee Pad Transformer, it pairs, but can't use it.

[Req] Live View type "Bridge" for Tablets

Hi All,
I posted this in the Sony Ericssion, dev tread as well, but wanted to address a larger audience, hope this is not considered spamming.
I was looking at the BlackBerry PlayBook adv. where they talk about the BB Bridge.
I was wondering if anyone knew of an app for HoneyComb and GingerBread where the tablet would act like the LiveView from SE.
Basically if both the devices are on the same WiFi network, or via BlueTooth (BT), the SMS / Call information can be sent over to the Tablet.
We can make it interesting by using the tablet as a BT headset for the phone. or even a host for SMS.
This is all possible through BT, which works when you sync the phone to a GPS or other "Speaker Phone" Devices i.e. car stereos

looking for a app that will let android act as a bluetooth headset?

Im not exactly sure if i am posting this in the right forum, but where can i find a app that will let my android device become a bluetooth handset/headset? i want to use my iphone to pair to my android and use my android tablet while i'm home as a bluetooth handset. I know there is a airplay receiver app that lets your iphone airplay music to android, but can't use phone calls through that. Another scenerio, i want those android watch to be used as a bluetooth headset if it doesn't have the feature built in for handsfree calling from iphone but has it for android. The only app i know that has this is the payqi app that connects to the payqi device. Anyone know any apps please let me know.
