Hi, guys.
I was using a cab from this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=584415 - or a manila file (5fa4d4b7_manila - it's the same thing) to disable the flip clock initial animation (turn of 1h 2min) on official ROMs 1.43 and 1.46 but unfortunately this doesn't work on the official 1.66 ROM. It even blocks the clock to display 0:00 until copying again the original manila file.
Does anybody have a solution for this?
I am not on the original 1.66 ROM but on kwbr's topix ROM which is also based on the 1.66 ROM and I have no problems using the attached manila file. Don't know if it is a different one.
But maybe it works for you also?
BTW: Which manila version are you using? Mine is: 2.5.19211619.0.

Manila version is exactly the same - 2.5.19211619.0. With your file you do not have the initial flip clock animation?
If so, I'll back up the original file and try yours. Thank you.
I do not have the initial flip clock animation with that file. It is working fine for me.
Make sure to disable manila before copying and overwriting the original file using resco explorer (or total commander).

Cheers for the manila file, that annimation has been annoying me for weeks!
I have an Italian ROM, 1.48.408.1 with manila 2.5.19211679.0
And I hate that awful animation as well.
What shuold I do?
Download the JayVee disable initial clock flip animation.cab and install it in my mobile? Is it simple like that?
Should I backup something?
And if that's the case, how do I do it?

Since no one answered me, and I was simply too curious, I downloaded and installed JayVee disable initial clock flip animation.cab and it worked smoothly, so that I finally got rid of the infamous animation.

Ultimately, if you are unhappy with this... somewhere down the line, you can simply uninstall this modification. However, if you don't mind me asking... others who may have installed this as well... DOES THIS PERMANENTLY SILENCE THE ANIMATION? Or does it only void the animation once the home tabs are refreshed?

zip this to the MaxTTM folder on your storage card where you installed the above

and downloaded components off this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011 to get tab icons and digital flip clocks which are called components.
Remember to back up your working original theme incase you mess up your TF3D before trying to customize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The icons are components on the MaxTF3D theme maker. Here is my Heroes wallpaper that you can use, right click and save as

Have u got NET Compact Framework 3.5 installed? If not install it and re install the theme maker.

Thanks, I give it a try.
I have been playing with this program a few days now on my diamond2 and have zipped a few files you will need. I have found using the home layout Dutty Tf3d Home is the best for our device. I have included a few clocks and tabs, but I reccomend you download more icons like sliders etc off the main thread on the top of this page. Install Maxx TF3D Theme Maker v3.5 first to your storage card, then unzip my touch diamond2 zip to the storage card overwriting the files. Let me know if this helps thanks. The start menu is modified and works on all layouts, just looks a bit smaller but I like it.

Install theme maker v3.5 first then copy contents of the above zip to the same location

2. install my battery cab
3. restart....

i think my battery cab is only made for wm 6.5.....because works good on mine and for other people in my rom thread...see signature...
edit: have you restart device after each cab...?? because have 48 downloads and it seems that there have no issues...because no report that this is not work

Sure I did restart the device after installing.I have more devices. And in a moment I am going to get a Touch HD So I will have every OS running. Oh shoot. My P3600 is already running WM6.5 too.I'll try later again.

It worked on my HTC P3600 (Trinity) with a WM6.5 ROM
Only I had to remove "sex1battenhancer.cab" because it showed a charge icon instead of "%" It also gave be a blank screen with a empty battery status bar, see the pics below.

try to rename phcanOverbmp.dll...to phcanOverbmp.old..and delete *.old...restart

On the Polaris it gives me problems.
Can't rename,I can't edit the attribute from "read only", can't delete so I can't uninstall completely.

Just wanted to tell you thank you for your contribution i installed it yesterday and still working great. I love the new look!
One comment I would like to add and this is for the other developers; i've noticed that it's much faster when you click on the taskbar at the top and SO much more responsive! Whatever you did besides the graphics I can see a real improvement on speed!
Can other people please confirm they are having the same improvements on speed & responsiveness? If yes, then the cooks need to know this so they can use this in their ROMs or at least know how to improve the slow speed.

I have installed the latest version of Brain's Taskbar WM6.5 but the text "Start" in the upper left corner is not removed. I am using official ROM 1.48 German.
Is there a registry hack to remove the string?
I have seen screenshots from people where it is removed and others where not.

We are seing some Landscape capable Roms. So I believe the following is a GREAT add-on to those Roms.
Landscape B4All Tabs + more 4 Manila 2.5.1922ONLY
This cab contains the following:
1.- B4All Tabs
2.- Select any Animation with any Wallpaper
3.- Day of the week as in "Mon, Tue, etc.."on Calendar Icon
4.- Red color Sundays, Blue color Saturdays on Calendar
5.- Last but not least select a different Portrait and Landscape Wallpaper, if no Landscape Wallpaper is selected the Portrait Wallpaper will show in Landscape

I have the same manila and it works like a charm. You should remove any manila mod you have installed prior installing this one. Give it a try, it is worth it
I have no mods on my manila.
The only thing I have is the meteo sun modified to be more ligth, cause I'm running manila 2.5 on my Topaz.

If you don't mind hard setting, just give a try after hard reset. I don't see any reason why it should not work since we have the same manila version

I cook my own roms, and I tryed it, after a fresh new rom, no mods at all, I try´ed to cook it, and try'ed to install it via .cab after I flashed a new rom, same thing happens.

He actually stated he had installed HDWalls<---with a 's' which you need for HDWall to take effect i believe...
Same here mate, tried to get it working with no joy, tried the patches, ect.. gave up in the end. Settled on the Dusk theme.
Have you read up on the HDwall thread?
HDWallS isn't actually needed if you don't need to preview a folder full of CAB wallpapers. If you know which one you want you can just run/install the CAB without the program.

I discovered that as well... The app is fantastic and the readme thread is comprehensive, but it really should just say in big letters: JUST RUN THE CAB!

Hello,
my problem is nearly the same. I´ve installed the HDWallpaper Patch, after this the HDWall Cab. Now i just see the hdwall on the top and on the buttom. Central there is just another wall.
The next idea was that my Manila is so up2date that i don´t need the HQ Patch and uninstalled it. The Result was the as with Patch.

Try installing the wallpaper cab one more time or 2. Sometimes it's a bit picky and doesn't overwrite a file it should, even if it's usually the opposite, wallpaper works but not the top/bottom bars. Note you need the correct HQWallpaper patch for your manila version.
So, i tried it 2 more times. It doesn´t work. Do you now where i can find a patch for my manila version?

Are you sure you set up HDWall properly for wm 6.5

yeah, i think i´m sure. when yu tel me where i can see it, then i can tell you if i set up with WM 6.5.

Agh Ok, this is not working for me and I installed everything, step by step (including the correct patch!) I just uninstalled everything. Will try to just load the .cabs on there without HDWallS.
