What is the C icon in the notification bar? - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps

Hello-
I've been searching for over an hour, and I just can't figure out what it is. On 1.6 there's a C with bars next to it in the notification bar...what is it for? It doesn't seem to change much from two bars...
Thanks.

It's your Cell or Call signal. This has been asked & answered before in the AOSP 1.6 thread.

changing order of icons in notification area

Since we can remove icons, I figure there has to be a way to reorder them.
Specifically I'm looking to move the wifi/3G icon to be after the Cell signal (but before the battery). Also I'd like for the vibrate icon to be to the left of all the icons.
anyone know if this is possible?
has anyone even looked into this?
If you haven't figured it out yet, try searching the Incredibly Re-Engineered thread. I know it's in there somewhere.

Numerical signal display?

Is there a way to replace the signal bars in the status bar with signal value in dbm?
Or is there an app that will display it in the notification area?
I found a few Widgets in the market but none of them work on gingerbread.
Sent from my HTC Inspire CM7
this existed in cyanogen 6.1, the signal bar is replaced with the -dBm reading. but it has not yet been ported to cyanogen 7.0 as of now. hopefully its coming soon, but nobody knows yet. this needs root, and no app will be able to change the framework as far as i know. it needs to be in a custom ROM.

wifi icon in notification bar on ICS

I've updated to the official HTC ICS release, using the flashable ROMs created on here from the OTA file.
All is great, loving ICS so far.
One thing I've noticed, the little icon on the top bar to show I am connected to a wifi point is grey, with just the little circle bit white , as though it was a low signal strength. This is with it next to the router. Apps like network signal info aren't showing any signal %age at all, not even a 0. It's working fine though, speedtest apps give excellent scores.
When I go into wifi settings and scan for access points, those are correct. My router is fully white, whilst ones around on the street are various levels of whiteness.
It's just that notification icon, and the signal strength in apps, that is not showing.
Any ideas?
Reboot, and then it's back to normal.

Are you kidding? As the phone is rebooting I'm thinking did they mean the phone or the router. When the phone comes back on and all my bars are there I'm like could it have been simpler? No I guess it couldn't have.

[Q] Codename - edit spacing of icons in the status bar

Noob here. I've done my best to find an answer on my own so my apologies if a straight-forward answer already exists elsewhere.
I'm running Codename 1.2 on my Galaxy Nexus (not interested in updating right now). I've successfully flashed my own custom icons for battery, signal meter, 3G/4G, and wi-fi in the status bar.
What I can't figure out how to do is space them out appropriately. Specifically, the Codename stock 3G/4G icon is a small superscript that overlaps the signal meter (it shows up in the upper-left area of the signal meter right above the first couple of bars). I want to "separate" these two icons so I can make the 3G/4G icon full size and place it to the left of the signal meter.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Signal Icons

Does anyone have this iOS.apk that moves the signal icons to the left? I used to have it but it was lost somehow. I searched my old post but I couldn't seem to find it but I might've overlooked it.
I don't think it was an xposed module but i could be wrong because it didn't change anything but the signal icons. Here is a screenshot from one of my old screens
+1 been looking for it too
From what I have gathered from this morning after posting is that it is this module

And you check style: standard position: left use status bar tinting: none
Guess I had a super old version that only had two options.
