I have a LG KU990 Viewty. The phone uses a Proprietary OS. But I want to know if there are any possibilities for the phone to be hacked so that it can run another OS? I've read somewhere that the Motorola Razr that uses Proprietary OS been hacked so maybe there is a chance?
Right now the only things that is costumized is the themes on the phone, because it uses flashlite in the themes and menus. But what I want to do is to be able to run another OS on the phone. So since im kinda new in this area, could anybody help?

to the best of my knowledge you wont have much luck (i have a viewty as well) but at least they have new themes to make it look like a Tocco or a diamond
yea, I know, I am a active member in the ku990 forum but I saw that somebody asked the same question about the Samsung TouchWiz but without any good answer on it... so I thought this is hacking in general...

Yes there is. Check out the custom themes and mods sticky at the top of our CDMA Hero Sub Forum (aka this forum) there are some guys already doing that there.

I am looking for alternate themes for eViL's desire port. Preferably something with his old-style launcher from the second version of his rom.
I have seen the ones that are currently available on these forums, and (no offense to the creators) I don't really like them.
Can I just go and get a desire theme and use metamorph to apply it, or do the themes have to be tailor made to his roms?
At this point, 110 people have read my post. That leads me to believe that other people want some more themes as well.
If that is the case... Please post in this thread, as some talented people will probably see that there is a demand and make us some themes!

I have no development experience so I'd like to make a request. I have a keyboard APK that's apparently designed to work with Froyo but I'd like to use it on my Nexus S. It's a WP7 style keyboard. I will attach it and request that anyone who knows how please try and make it work with 2.3.4 on the I9020T.

Thanks, but that's not quite what I was looking for. I want to use the default Android keyboard but I want it to look like the one from WP7.
Have you tried 'Perfect Keyboard' from the market?
