I'm not sure what rom version you are running, but in my experience the 1.66 roms have fixed it for me. (on a rare occasion though it still doesn't send through).
Hope this helps you.

i have 1.43.479.2 (70124) WWE ROM, when i tryed to download rom update from htc website, it wrote me, that my phone doesn't support it...

After several time, my TF3F give strange attitude.
Does any other people the same problem??
Rom 1.90.406.5 FRE
Rom date 08/20/08
Radio 1.02.25.19
Protocol : 52.33.25.17U
Yup, mine's doing the exact same thing. I'm on Vodafone UK with stock ROM. Usually once or twice a day it'll do that and I have to soft reset
I've send email to HTC yesterday and wait for one answer.
Does anyone a solution for this???
Have you tried turning off the ICI?

The link in my sig? That has nothing to do with this issue. I just wondered if the ICI is causing the problem
Sorry, What's "ICI".
I've tryed also to desactive the TF3D from Todays parameters and reactivate the TF3D after, the result remain the same.
Reset needed to solve temporarly the problem.
Same here. This is known by others as the 'broken glass' effect.
Only soft reset can fix.
People said turning TF3D on and off in Settings > Today would fix it.
Doesn't work for me though.
I emailed HTC as well, no response yet.
Same for me (email to Htc) yesterday, and still no answer (normal).
I'm sure it's a Rom problem.
Same here (Vodafone, The Netherlands).

I called with the dutch support line. They first sayd they don't know anything about this. Second time i called, i send them the pictures of the problem, they sayd "Hmmm.. we have had more incidents like this reported to us. Though we don't know a solution for this problem... most probably this will be fixed in the new ROM. When the new ROM will be avialiable they don't know."
So far for HTC support...
I've send pictures and talked with Htc Europe and :
- First of all, it's the first time that they see something like that (humhumhumhum)
- they tell me that sending this picture, that they will forward it to IT directly (humhumhumhuhum)
- Tey assure me that a new rom will arrive very soon.
- I've informed also that it's not only in the French version but also in other langages that the problem appers.
Question is When???
Hold you informed,
Found a solution.
Everyone with this problem was using the stock ROM right? Upgrade to ROMeOS
I did and haven't had the problem since
Thanks for the infomation, but I need the french version.
Does this rom solve other problems ???
Kind regards,

[HOTFIX][OFFICIAL] HTC SMS Hotfix

Just browsing the HTC site and they have just released what i'm guessing is the hotfix for the sms problems.
http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=297&cat=0&dl_id=812
just about to apply the fix and see what difference if any it makes.
Great news...going to try it on.
Although I hate their hotfix description:
"This update for HTC HD2 messaging lets you reach out to your friends and family with instant notifications. Keeping in touch has always been very important, and this update delivers just that: fast and reliable SMS messaging."
If it fixes a bug, let us know about it! No need to use nice sentences made up by the PR department.
messaging still takes a second or two to load up if there's a lot of messages, not sure about the issues sending texts or receiving them, not tested that yet, although i didn't really have that problem with my hd2

haha... totally agree......
I just installed the hotfix. I haven't had problems with sending and recieving sms. But it couldn't hurt to try it out.
But I have a big problem, with the sms list loading. It makes the sms-application very hard to use. and it is still very hard to use, after the hotfix.
first a rom update..that doesn't solve the problem....
then a sms-hotfix..that doesn't fix the problem...
what's next?
did you just say that the sms fix doesn't deal with the loading lag ?
definitely does not fix the loading lag. sigh
WHAT THE HELL !!!
What where we waiting for ???! Now that's really pissing me off...
First, the ROM doesn't fix the crackling and noises during the voice call despite bragging about that crystal sound clarity... And now.. the SMS fix...
What did they fix exactly ?

I think this fix was never intended to fix the lag while loading sms history. I is meant to fix the "sms stays in outbox" bug. Hopefully it does at least that .
Certainly didn't fix mine.
I'm on the newer ROM turkish 1.61.
Would it do any harm to install anyway?
To help you guys a little, is more of a walkaround, but i noticed in lock screen if a message has been recieved and i do the ,,slide to view,, there is no lag at all, other than that, this fix doesn.t fix anything...at least i don.t see any change on my device
I don't know about you, guys, but this fix created many problems in my GPRS data connection, connecting and disconnecting all the time, stopping Direct Push. Everything went back to normal after uninstalling it.
are you saying that this fix doesn't work?! are there still problem with sending sms?!
Didn't fix the lag for me either, what a joke. That garbage PR line is a spit in the face too.
this fix is not for the sms lag
Who's on first, What's on second?
Guys - when you say "it didn't fix it for me" can you be more specific about WHAT it didn't fix and what it DID fix - people are referring to multiple problems: SMS lag and SMS sitting in Outbox so it's not clear reading this thread which problem is still outstanding for people.
If SMS's are still sitting in your outbox then that's clearly a major problem with the "hotfix". If it's SMS lag, well I guess we'll need to wait for the next "hotfix"
Well I have to say, with this device just being able to send/receive sms properly seems to be a good step forward already.... Is it confirmed this fix deals with the outbox stuck issue?
I am getting pissed with HTC daily - i still think they didn't test the HD2 properly!. Just rushed the phone out the door

Exactly. People need to take a step back and stop posting incoherent babble about how annoyed they are. Clearly it doesn't fix the lag so the people who had the SMS outbox issue need to confirm it fixes that. Personally, I have never had the problem so can't say.
EDIT - just found this in another thread. It seems it doesn't fix that either.

Ok I have confirmation:
This fix does *nothing* to fix the sending problem.
It's easy for me to see this because unlike other people the sending problem happens for me 100% of the time.

[Q] cyanogen 6.0 MMS problem

Ok, so i just rooted my MyTouch3G (original) yesterday, and the rom is excellent. There has only been 1 major problem that i have encountered. Whenever someone sends me an MMS (picture message) the picture is really small and blurry when it gets to me. I've even tried sending myself a picture, to make sure that the problem isn't on the other person's phone, but it still comes small and blurry. Is there any way to fix this?
Help will be greatly appreciated! =)
any help from anyone?
I have the mytouch 1.2 running CM6. I'm having the same issue. i tried what you did with sending it to myself but i got the same results. i also tried a different messenger (Handcent) but it didn't change anything. Might not be a bad idea to head over to cyanogens forum and let them know. cm 6 is a release candidate so expect a few bugs / glitches.

[Q] HD2 ROM update and Radio issues -Plz help

Hi everyone
I got my HD2 an year ago. Its an awesome device and was working fine untill the time I thought of updating the original ROM of the phone. And as there are no official ROM updates in India, so I did this using HardSPL. I update my phone's ROM to "Elegencia GTX - V 2.0 Final WWE". The ROM update was successful. But there were a lot of issues with call reception and sms functionality. The phone use to freeze on receiving any call. On searching a little I found that the issue was the original Radio of my phone which was 2.05.51.05_2 . And so I installed a newer Radio which I downloaded from xda itself. Since then I am facing a lot of problems in the sms functionality of my phone. Now I have tried almost all the updated versions of Radios available in
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
but all in vain. Some radios does not allow me to send or receive sms to some of my friends and some of them freezes the phone on receiving a phone call. Now I am using Radio version 2.11.50.20, there is no problem in this Radio except for some of my friends says that they receive my single message three times and that too only the first part of the sms. And some times I receive a notification "Unable to send message".
I am not technically an expert, but would like to know the issue with my phone. I really dont want to rollback on the original ROM as I want to know the solution rather than always being in a doubt.
Please help me out in this situation. And also let me know in case you need any other info for your convenience to get a better understanding.
I really hope you will help me out.
Thanks

[Q] bad delay when sending recieving calls, DESIRE S

Hello people
Huge problem! I have tried all the 2.3.5 ROM's in here and still, after a few calls, there is a delay of 5-15 seconds from when the call starts to when the sides can talk to each other.
If I call, they answer but then they hear silense
I they call me, I hear nothing for 10 seconds and then sometimes I get an error (THE PROCESS COM.ANDROID.PHONE HAS STOPPED UNEXPECTEDLY)
tried different radios, current: 20.28I.30.085AU_3805.06.02.03_M
I have turned all the BACKGROUND DATA and AUTO SYNC off, I have run the FIX PERMITIONS in Rom Manager... same thing
The only roms it works on are the 2.2.3 barebone ones, with sense 2.1
I wouldn't mind that but the have no Middle East languages support so if I get an SMS with a number and HEBREW or ARABIC letters in them, the number is backwards.
PLEASE HELP!! there are some great ROMS in here but I can't use them!!!!! AAAAAAA
thanks.
come on people! a little help?
I didn't notice your post first time round, but am not sure what to suggest. A little more information might have been useful - such as hboot version, how you got root etc.
Try wiping absolutely everything, burn one of the good, recommended ROMs and try again before installing any additional programs or whatever. If you still get issues then please come back and let us know. It may be that you have a genuine problem with your phone.
i shall give all the info tomorrow ....
thanks a lot
CallDelayPatch works perfectly for me!
Test it and report if it solves your problems!
