Is there any way to intregate M3u playlist to window mobile, i have been doing my research and i feel this point has not been put foward or it has but has not seen the daylist of day in the eyes of rom cookers or other forum users fluent in programming. I just want to know is this would be possible to do this or i shouldnt even bother and just go with shuffle all the way on my music. I know there are other apps out there that can play m3u playlists but i want to play my music on my htc music player on my htc hd2.
Thanks you forum

I tried searching around but it seems searching for music apps is not very efficient as there are too many variables (different versions of android, sense vs. no sense, etc.) So, I just came from always having sense (and using the stock HTC music app) and I was pretty shocked to see that making a playlist using the vanilla android music player is ridiculous. Unless I'm missing something you can only add songs to a playlist one at a time?? What were they thinking? Anyway, can somebody suggest either an easy way to get playlists onto the phone or a good music app with widget that has the ability to easily create playlists and has basic functionality (Shuffle, repeat, etc.) I don't need anything fancy with lyrics and whatnot but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Mixzing is a great music app and nice widgets.
i use doubletwist, not sure about the playlist though...
i usually just sync playlists from the desktop app to the phone....
So I am using an HTC Evo running Android 2.2 with HTC Sense.
I am trying to set up some playlists in the stock music player.
Creating the playlists in the music player is pretty straight forward. The problem is some of the song titles are too long to read on the screen. It doesn't have a landscape mode either, so that doesn't help.
I have friends who are musicians, and I have a lot of their music on my phone. They will give me, for example, a 4 disk set with 20 songs per disk and each song will be named SquishFunkJamsWinter2010Song5Disk2.
If I put the whole folder for each disk in a playlist, it defaults to putting song 10 before song 1, and the order is all weird. And when I try to change the order of the playlist, I can't read the end of the name because it's too long.
Does anyone know of a good app that will let me create or edit playlists and will work in landscape, or at least let me scroll over to read the end of the longer file names?
Also, does anyone know where the stock HTC music player stores the playlists that it creates?
I am looking for a way to do this on the phone, not a computer...
The HTC Music player added IGO audio files to my Music library and this is very frustrating. I can make a playlist without them but everytime I add new songs to my phone I must update the playlist so this is not a solution. I want to exclude the IGO folder or something like this because now I have so many audio files that are not songs in the music player.
Please this is very frustrating. I can't listen to my music normally what a bull**** again. Could recommend me a player that I can solve this issue with if the dumb HTC player can't solve it.
Not sure if it'll work with HTC's player, but usually when you add a ".nomedia" file to the folder with stuff you don't want to show up, they won't be added. Could be worth a shot. If not, use Google Play Music when you're on ICS - it's only good with hardware acceleration.
Worst case scenario, buy Poweramp. It's decent.
Thanks a lot! Cool trick. But when you add a .nomedia file you must go to Settings-Apps-All Apps-Media Storage and Clear Data and restart the phone. That did the trick
Would anyone be able to customize the HTC Sense music player to sort folders or album artist? It's a pain that I'm forced to change music player, also its a shame that they didn't implement it originally. PowerAMP doesn't support Album Artist either but at least it displays compilations as an album.. Shame that there's no good android music players.

Is it really necessary to write in full caps? Anyway, I really like PlayerPro. I don't think editing the Sense music player is going to be easy, and I don't think any dev would do it.
