Hexagon Start Menu? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Has anyone got the Hexagon start menu icons on the HD2, I tried a couple of cabs. They do give 4 rows, but no hexagon shape? Or am I missing something?
Any help would appreciate, thanks.

try the cab from HERE. Havent tried it myself but it used to work on my diamond.

Thanks, i'll give it a go.

This is the real Hexagon Honey Comb for HD2

thanks justintx. it worked perfectly on my stock tmous hd2. is there any hexagon honeycomb with a 5 row?

Sorry man, I haven't it in 5 columns, I can make it but I need the exact hexagon measures, for example in 3 columns the hexagon measures is:
Width="192"
Height="166"
I don't know the measures in 5 columns, anyway it must be hard enough for the eyes, you do not believe?

personally, i use these cabs:

Official Crossbow theme(s) & sounds wanted
Hello,
I'm very interested in the new crossbow .tsk & .wav files, so for a few days I try to de-cook the AKU 3.5 ROMs (esp. provided by Helmi) to extract the file contents, but since now without much success. What I've extracted were some dll's & exe's, but the most interesting part for me wasn't there: The wav's from the event sounds (like Default.wav, Infbeg.wav, ...). I've found crossbow themes here, but the one that looks like the original has a width (landscape) of 1 pixel too less (319px). In another thread I've found the brilliant ringtone and a few system sounds zipped together (file 'other_crossbow_sounds.zip'), but it doesn't contain all event sounds, some wav's are missing. Please, please can anyone post here:
1. The official default .tsk (320x240 + 240x320)
2. The full collection (or the missing ones w.r.t. the existing ones) of event sounds
3. The media player skin (I really like the look derived from Vista)
4. Other goodies
Thanks in advance and I wish all of you a good new year 2007!

I have seen none of the originals camaro - but show us where the tsk is thats one pixel short and i will mod it if you like.
EDIT Did you try this one seems to be the right dimensions ftp://[email protected]/BlueAngel/BA_WM5/Shipped_Extracted_Updates/xplode/cabs/Crossbow.tsk
I have edited it so its stwater only (tdywater.gif not required) so its a smaller tsk file
I have analysed original images and before mentioned tsk colors are not correct. I have compared all other available mock crossbow tsk's and images and i believe the one i have produced is close to the original - thoughts?

Oh, now it's clear: There is a border of 1px in the background-image itself that let me think the today-background was 1px too less. In the portrait mode the top border is OK to distinct between taskbar and today-screen-contents, but in landscape mode the right (and left - hard too see on my ppc) is annoying. In the next days (I don't have experience in compiling a .tsk yet) I'm going to fix this and upload the corrected .tsk.
Thanks for your quick reply!
What about the sounds?

Wm5 uses base hue (centered gradient) and color keys for the top and bottom bars, 2003 uses just plain colors commonly in a gradient side to side pattern.
So totally different registry color keys - a 2003 tsk will work in a wm5 device to a fashion but not the other way round. If your interested read my tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=275907

It looks like crossbow mb.tsk is nearly right - just needs some tweaking of the color - at least its not grey lol.
I will tweak color if you tell me which way to go.
EDIT find a new one attached
If this not working i may need to do a cab to do the color change - but not the best solution - or i will install magic button myself and give it a go. - its all good fun hey guys
I appreciate the effort but.... it is still not like i would like it tot be..and a cab solution is not really an option. I'll think i will look for an alternative for Magic button ... can't believe this is the only/best solution for a task manager/closer.
Do you know if there is a matching dialer skin WITH smart dial for the P3300.

Unlocking the Wm6.1 sliding panel secrets

I did some digging and found out something about the sliding panels.
They are almost identical to Htc Juno Neo interface
They reside in HKLM/software/microsoft/CHome
The part that is responsible for the panels is this
<plugin clsid="{E9267CAB-02EE-4f37-8216-6BF6A8FF5A71}" name="Bronze" height="266">
<Plugins Order="CClock;CHome;CAppointments;CWelcomeCenter;CWindowsLive;Clinks;CMessage;Cmusic;CMyFaves;CMyphotos;CTestUIplugin;Settings" />
</plugin>
From top to down they are arranged in the order in the home.xml
From side to side they are arranged in the registry, at
HKLM/software/microsoft/CHome/<panel name>/Pages
They are arranged in a simillar format
eg(settings)rofile;Wireless;Ringtone;Background;Task.
There are a total of 12 panels but 3 of them doesn't do anything.
They are
CClock
CHome
CAppointments
CWelcomeCenter
CWindowsLive
CLinks - doesn't work
CMessage
CMusic
CMyFaves - doesn't work
CMyphotos
CTestUIplugin - doesn't work
Settings
Thats all i can dig up for now.
does wm6.1 homescreen work on wm6.0 ? maybe by copying some dll to wm6.0 . ?
Not just by copying and regist them... like any other plugin
i tried to build wm6.0 (based on RUU_Vox_HTC_GER_1.34.407.1) include CHome application/plugin and WelcomeCenter
i also added all needed Registry entry`s
the same problems as CHome version from s730 (tryied that 2 months ago)
i will not get it work
...(no time for that)
@Vener
nice finding...
/windows/bronzeres.dll
ther are the Icons for the slinding panel ... if someone wish to make a better looking homescreen, with other Icons
And I think to play on the RegConfig for the CWelcomeCenter, you can make it to a App-laucher bar ^^ ... I will test it tomorrow ... or soon
Some people are asking for the background pic i used so here it is.

Hi
Can you tell us how you reconfigured that "Getting Started" Slide for you own applications.
I think that others are very interested.
Thanks.

you don't need to put icons in a dll. a simple .png will do.
for exemple :
"TEXT1"="Internet"
"PICTURES"="\Windows\61.png"
much easier

I have no experience in creating a CAB file.

I am planning to write a sort of manual of how I created this application slide.

Changing Wallpaper on the HTC Pure?

Okay, I'm sure I'm just being dense, but I can't figure out how to change the wallpaper on my new HTC Pure. That is, I can't change it beyond the Home Screen.
I've tried selecting wallpaper from both the TouchFlo "Wallpaper" button in the "Settings" slider tab, as well as the "Today" setting in WM 6.5.
The end result is I can change the colors of the bars and the wallpaper on the home screen. But if I move the slider in TouchFlo to anything other than Home (say, "Calendar" or "Settings" or whatever) I still see the default AT&T logo.
What am I doing wrong?
Search for "Background for all tabs" cab.
I've tried 4 different "background for all tabs" programs I've found here and around the net. None of them work.
I tried the one found here, following different directions found at different sites: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511. The instructions there were too complicated, and did more than I wanted.
I also tried all of the ones listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951
NONE of them work on the AT&T version. I think they add in some encryption or something.
Finally found one that works:

Right - I see what you're asking now.
The wallpaper is actually "overlayed" with the taskbar and menu, so it is fullscreen, but behind those objects.
Search for HDWall (it's not in the Leo section - I believe it's in the Blackstone section, but could be wrong, so do a search of all forums).
That makes hi-quality wallpapers (better than the resized-by-htc wallpapers that you normally get) and it does it for all tabs. You also have the option to skin the taskbar and menu, and even change the slider if you want.
That will do what you ask anyway. Hope it helps

I told you already, MaxTTM
Try this Transparent softkey .tsk file, along with MaxTTM.
Then you can have clear bars and no softkey bubble buttons.
Although it does not line up perfectly. It looks best with textured or patterned wallpapers. In my opinion. It really depends on what B4all you are using as well.
