I am looking for a FM transmitter that can:
Recieve stereo music from my Mobile Phone and sends it to my car stereo Via FM transmitter.
(I would like to connect my HTC Phone to this Bluetooth Transmitter, send fm stereo music to it, and this transmitter would send it to my car stereo via FM Radio).
Any product out there on ebay etc???

Hi all.
If I have the FM Transmitter connected to the headphone jack on the phone and try to use a Bluetooth headset to make/recieve calls while driving, will this work?
I am concerned that the phone will try to output the sound to the car stereo and that the voice will be picked up by the phones built-in speaker.
Thanks for any help in advance.
If it's a standard headphone adapter, it should be fine, I was able to use my BT headset with a Himalaya connected to desktop speakers, but it might vary with devices.
Best bet is try if you already have a BT headset to connect a normal pair of headphones to it and see what happens, it certainly won't hurt it, and the fact it's speakers, headphones, or FM transmitter is irrelevant as it's just a jackplug audio output as far as the device is concerned.
I don't have the BT headset yet - Going to buy the two said items together, but hopefully it works on the XDA/K-Jam or whatever too.
Thanks for the help
Does the diamond have a FM Transmitter? If not is it possible to integrate a transmitter into it?
Thanks
It has an FM receiver
The Diamond does not have an FM Transmitter, only a FM Receiver. Eg it receives Radio stations.
Would be a good idea but im sure there isnt a way to get a FM Transmitter integrated into the diamond due to space restrictions.
Use Bluetooth for streaming music to car stereo
Use Bluetooth for streaming music to car stereo
Lots of devices that will communicate via bluetooth and then transmit via fm transmitter.
Robert315,

I stream shoutcast to my fm radio and moto will find the best fm station for you. If you get a call it will tell you what number is calling you and hit answer and the music stops, caller comes through the speak, done speaking hit talk to end call music resumes.

Wouldn't that drain the diamonds battery? since I assume the transmitter feeds on the diamonds battery..

Has anyone tried any of these? What is the quality like for music and for taking calls? Do you know the dimensions as I use a cradle? I PM'd Ambassador shortly after he posted but never got a reply. I don't want to buy one from an ebayer in a different country but have seen them here for UK: http://www.blueunplugged.com/p.aspx?p=135842
Is it possible to broadcast your own music over a distance of 10 cm with the TD2??
We have some problems with the radio.. so i want to broadcast my own station
Search the internet for "FM transmitter", one example: Belkin TuneCast
You also need a adapter from HTC miniUSB to 3,5mm audio jack.
Do you really need to buy something?
Is it not just possible with a program?
I do allready have the converter to 3.5mm jack
So is a seperate transmitter necassary?
Think the D2 has a FM-reciever not a FM-reciever/transmitter.
So Im afraid you need an external device like a FM transmitter.
Does anyone know if there will be a wireless fm transmitter app for the xoom or if there is can anyone send me a link
That would be alsome, one of my cars i don't have bluetooth so i would still be able to use the music player
The hardware to transmit on FM bands does not exist in the Xoom, cannot happen.
I wouldnt go that far, I've opened up my Uk3G Xoom and theres a blank miniPCI header in there, bit of soldering, get a card, device drivers and off you go surely?
just use the headphones out into a 3rd party fm transmitter. there are tons of modulators out there for ipods and other music players. I'm absolutely positive the xoom cant do it. Card or no card.
If your car has a AUX in then you can either simply plug in from the headphone jack or get an aftermarket bluetooth reciever. I know there are some from Belkin that get decent reviews.

If FM is your only option, there are some BT speakerphones that will also pass BT audio to an FM transmitter. I have an older Motorola T505 BT speaker phone that worked pretty good and it has a FM transmitter built in. My only issue is that the airwaves around Chicago are packed with so many small local stations that it is very hard to find any clean channels. The other option would be to just get an aftermarket FM transmitter, lots to choose from.
I have few wireless Bluetooth portable speakers.
Yesterday I paired those speakers with my RN7 Pro and they worked good for calls, music, youtube etc. except for FM Radio.
This is totally disappointing.
FM Radio doesn't transmit audio to wireless speakers.
What can be done in this regards?
My other phones like PocoF1, Sony etc. all work good with regards to Radio transmission on BT speakers.
