Not many votes so far... Thanks for the two voters that voted for me so far, though
I'd like to point out again: if you want WM6 upgrades / cooked ROM's from the "winner" of the poll, don't vote for me. What I promise is "only" model-specific for example ROM / compatibility infos and tricks.
bump!!!
Is there any chance that you could provide just a quick summary of the contestants? I know there was in the original post, so perhaps you could just edit the first post to include a link to the orignal 'want to donate a prophet" thread.
the end is near
it's not too late for the results to change

Thanks to everyone that voted for me

Please have the courtesy to read through the Wiki, and the Rom threads yourself.
Then make your own decision on what to do and how to do it.
At least then you will have a good understanding of what to do when things go wrong.
Beasty
Yep, Beasty is right. Before you even begin to think about flashing your Uni, spend some time reading the Xda Wiki on Universal. It's a very-very good guide for everyone.
But as a rule of thumb, you have the choice of either a Plain Vanilla (WM6.X without extra apps) or Tweaked/Full-flavor roms. In this case I recommend to start with a Vanilla because it will give you the feel and feature of a stock WM. But some Vanillas are quite lightweight with some components removed. So you may have to spend quite of time flashing and reflashing to find the ones that suits you
decide carefully .......

Click to collapse
Ya i agree with beasty and you should dicide yourself and the features you like may not be like by others and other thing is too much features can slow down your uni as well so you should decide that yourself and as i think you have 64 mb Ram as uni is sold with it ... so take it concederation before asking for too much features...

Dear Yawar,
All are saying well, you can learn from XDA Wiki.
But in my Opinion, ROMs from Tomal and Luca16thebest are really very nice.
I use most of these ROMs.

i i am using tomal's 8.5 ROM, best for me
tomal roms are great. the new 8.8 is very good. but you must try before you decide
Everything's in the sticked.

I'm not asking for the best of the best or anything like that, I have read some of the ops for the ROMs, now I'm asking for opinions on what would be a good stable ROM, one that doesn't have to be updated for a while. This is for my wife, and I really don't want to flash 50 times to find one that makes a good dd. So if you all would be so kind please post your opinions and the ROMs, and explain pros and cons of them...
Thanks for the help.
What is "stable" for someone might not be what you consider as stable. Unfortunately only way to know is your very own testing. Thread locked

Hey everyone. I actually used a lot of ROM So far and I can't find something really good. most of the ROM I tried are good but not really stable. Please any suggestion will be great and what ROM are you guys using for daily driver. I am looking for something fast stable. I hate all the At&t apps that I can't delete and it is taking to much space for no reason at all
I will appreciate any suggestion with a link please it might help me and help other to find what actually fit their needs
Thanks
Best threads are normally frowned upon. Its really all a matter of personal opinion. What's best to you, may not be to someone else. You really got to try them yourself to see what you like.
Just my 2 cents...

Hey, Let me get my two cents in before they close your thread....
two words.....
1.Read
2. Test
That will be all, thanks for listening!:silly:
ALL ROMs are the best for those that use them
Follow the advice above as what is best for one may not be best for you as all phones/users/setup/signal strength are different
hi guys... i live in costa rica and i need sharing my internet with my wife and want to know what is the best rom for my one x on this moment.
Thank u
Asking which ROM is best/most stable/fastest/prettiest, or asking for a suggestion isn't allowed so I can't answer that, here's why. To say one ROM is better is to infer that the others are inferior in some way. This is disrespectful to the devs who spend their spare time bringing us these awesome ROMs free of charge. Each user has different tastes anyway, the best way to see which ROM suits you is to flash a few and find out for yourself.

Greetings,
There is no such thing as "Best Rom". Everyone has their own opinion.
The best thing for you to do is read and flash and find the "Best Rom" for you.
Therefore I'm close this down.
Thanks,
