hi all -
can anyone help i have some great icons and want to make a custom slider bar (the one at the buttom of the screen home, email, sms, stocls etc) i tried hdwall but the cab files it produces don't do anything when installed.
i have seen alot of people screen shots with custom sliders so i guess its possible.
i am using the stock 1.6 rom.

Hello together,
I'm playing around with all these apps, themes, roms since 2 days and I already changed a lot of things which are nice, but there are still some things which are bugging me and I can't find a solution for them. it would be really nice if you could help!!
I have installed MaxManila 2.5 V3.0 and the DKBlack theme and several other little stuff.
So now the problem is:
1. that my digital clock has a transparent background, is it possible to change this back to a white or something else? just transparant doesn't look so good in my opinion.
2. The icons on my home tab for the shortcuts are the old ones, how can I change them to new ones which I've downloaded and which are already working in the main menu?
3. Maxmanila produced a crazy flame background for me which is already not correctly centered I think, so at my phone the background is already zoomed in, so its not very sharp. Also I haven't found a way to change the background because it doesn't work with the normal menu. I don't want to stick with the flame bg
4. The Maxmanila Links for Last call,, calender etc. don't make any sense in my opinion, I mean I still have the same links at the bottom, so how can I remove them or replace them by something more useful, like a birthday reminder or something like that?

Hm...is MaxManila really for HTC HD2?? I mean I realized that they don't have the normal HD2 menu at the bottom? I want to keep that, but now it makes sense that they installed this 4 icons for calender under the clock.
So is Maxmanila really for HD2 or is Cookies Home tab the better choice? Is there a way to change the clock also with the cookies home tab?

I'd like a mix of the HD Mini Lockscreen and original slider/iPhone.
Or, in other words, exactly the Mini lockscreen but with a side-to-side-slider.
I dont want any other features. No clock, no appointments, nothing else.

Reason for this is that when I use the original leather pouch, I have noticed that ever since I installed the Mini lockscreen, I often accidentally unlock the device when I put the phone in the pouch. Not good.

Yes I have, but it is far to many features for me. If I could only have the slider, without scrolling text, without all the incoming call features, without having to manually delete/make images transparent to get rid of them - then it would be close to perfect. But for now it is to hard to make it clean.
I ended up tweaking my own.
Standard Lockscreen, slider in the middle (portrait) and in original position (landscape). No appointments, no clock.
In the attached .cab for anyone's use
if you make one with clock for me it'd be great . i also like it clean but i need the clock at the bottom cuz i don't wear a watch and i use the stock sheath. i like to just pull the phone out a bit to see the clock. without it i'll have to pull the whole phone out and unlock it to see the time.

I love my HD2 and I wouldn't change it to anything else. But there's one thing that drives me crazy when I look at the homescreen. It's the Sense 2.5 default slider icons.
Does anyone know where can I find the original slider icons (icons+slider background) from TouchFlo3D from Blackstone or any other VGA/WVGA device? I'm trying to find it, but all I have is some modified versions. I'd really love to have good old TF3D slider... Please, help me with that or at least tell me what to enter in the search engine (I've tried slider / icon / iconset / default / manila / stock etc. in every possible combination - I get tousands of threads and posts and no answer).
I'm sure, that the original PNG files for the icons are somewhere there, but I simply can't manage to look through all these thousands of posts that i find and the search doesn't help at all.
If someone provides me with the link to these icons I will make a package with only a slider using HDWall and put it here for other users like me trying to find it...
Or maybe there are some ready manila files to put straight to the /windows folder to overwrite the default Sense 2.5 icons? If anyone seen that, please, provide the link.

Oh, and please, don't say anything like "why don't you try GTX or Dusk or sth". I tested it already, but I just want the old slider, not the full theme...

I opened up the GTX theme and have taken all the slider files from there...
Normally it should cover everything...

whats up everyone...cant seem to load dinik slider and keyboard but was able to load his icons and taskbar. strange. i already loaded the sdk cab file. i loaded the keyboard and slider but they dont change...did restart and everything...what am i doing wrong? please help me figure this out...thanks in advance.
I have stock ROM TMOUS and the versions which worked for me are: Keyboard 2.1 (use the new sdkcertsnew2015) and Slider Selection 2.0 A (by Kurt).
Which slider are you talking about? The one in the homescreen? or the slider selection icon when you select the tabs (those two are different but are given the same name by those who are doing the mods). If you are talking about the slider in home screen, i don't have it anymore but what used to work for me were either Dinik Slider 1.3 or 1.6. (Must be installed to device if prompted).

is there application i can use to set custome icon (i choose) in slider tab? not a theme or fixed icon, i am looking for something like csmi but for tab slider

the answer is no, not really.

haven't used it myself for that purpose, but it says it can work. but really the best way is to edit the manila files yourself.
