Is it possible to create a rom that has the iPhone customizations built in? Slide to unlock, program mananger, dial pad, sounds, etc? Has anyone tried?

The first beta will be out this evening (Eastern Time) according to the developers... Will be very interesting to see how this works on a Wizard.

FSpece "Playstation emulator" doesn't work.

One of the greatest programs FSpece "Playstation emulator" doesn't work.
It never worked properly due to the slow processors in WM devices and now we have a great device and the program doesn't start....anybody got ideas?

Posting on that website gives no answer at all..........

There is a new version coming out, version 0.10. I think the demo video has it running on the Omnia 2.
So I'm sure it will run on the HD2 mate.

But how come even omnia 2 has a USB host and HD2 doesn't?

Fpsece 0.1 is bound to work on HD2, at least is what they told me on the forum, so all we have to do is wait and see (btw those overlays look really nice)
My gratest disappointment is about Finalburn Emulator which runs great on the touch pro, but due the lack of hardware keys it will be really hard to use it on the HD2

fspece 0.9.6. works for me with wvga fix3 very smoothly...

Are you sure the HD2 doesnt have a USB host feature? I am quite sure you are wrong =)

How do you control the games without a d-pad? is there a software d-pad?

So WVGAfix3 works without causing any problems?
What settings do you have in the emulator (CPU/GPU etc)?

yes, wvgafix3 works good, i have it installed... than i have gfx driver set to vga... joypad is emulated... everything is very nice, but i`m missing multibuttons
EDIT: processor is set to armv5 and recompiler

OK, those are the settings I had.
It loads the orange cube PSX icon, but then a FPSece splash screen pops up that I can't dismiss - do you get that?

where do find the bios file for the HD2 to put in the bios directory in order to get fpsece to start?

i checked and it requires the flashlite_mmi.dll
it is available in Omnia2 dump OS.nb.
Dont know if it uses any more sensors from Omnia. I would like also to use this one on HD2. Any more advance ppl could help maybe?

We can try to install the adobe flash lite 2.1. Now I can swtich on the setting button in the startMeun. But the srceen lock still can't run. >_<

Maybe we could trick/hack the G-Sensor or smth.

I really don't see anything impressive in that. Actually useless to me. Just as a a guy at the begining of post said: Iphone like fetish... Nice, but useless.

Why can't we have something nice, even if it's useless?!
I completely understand: The iphone is a toy, the HD2 is a powerful device with endless productivity possibilities... But why does that have to mean that the opposite is also true - Only the iphone can have cool toys? Never understood that argument...

HTC Leap Feature for Sense 2.5 on htc hd2

Is there an update for htc sense 2.5 manilla where you can have the leap feature. (may be just manilla update not the whole rom update)
Seen it on the htc desire its quite cool, hence was wondering if it was available to for the htc hd2?

Yes this is exactly what I'm looking for. However that is for the HTC Rhodium: Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 > Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 and I'm not sure this would work with htc leo aka htc hd2?
Any idea on this?

Yep same here its not working on the leo. You install it on the phone and restart it. After that the programm icon comes on the phone and once you click on it; it works. However once on the homepage and you try to pinch and zoom for the menu to turn up it doesnt???
Has anyone got it working on the HTC leo aka hd2?

Try this thread and install the HomeScreenJump.CAB.
This will create a start menu shortcut to Homescreenjump. I do not own a Leo so I do not know how to assign it to the hardware buttons.

yeah i figured it out, you have to assign a hard key to it for it to work. i havent really messed with it, its kinda buggy and not as cool as you'd think, but i would try it out if you wanted to see...its cool for a while

Looking for touch screen test app

I rock a Droid Eris (yes I'm pissed that Verizon isn't going to release a Stock Froyo ROM) and before I root it and put Froyo on it JUST to spite Verizon, I want to make absolutely sure the phone is in good working order before I void the warranty.
I think I'm getting phantom screen taps but I'm not sure, so I'm looking for an app that will do the following:
1. Log the number of screen taps in realtime
2. show where on the screen the latest few taps were located on the screen, using colors, crosshairs, ect.
Can anyone recommend such a touch screen test app?

Although I did find a good touch screen test for the tablets I sell. I think its called "TouchUtil" or something similar. If you are still interested, I'll go to work and see what its exactly called.
