anybody have the default fuze tf3d theme?

i really like atts default here. i just dont want that background and can only change it on the home tab. i figure i will just take the default theme, modify the background image and upload it with diamond tf3d config that i have installed to get rid of the att tab and other stuff. thanks!
i installed the cab for manila customizer. did a backup but that didnt help. is there anyway i can rip the theme so i can customize it? no one seems to have it for download. come on! this is the only thing i have left to get my fuze exactly how i want it. (yes i friggin love it and everyone who doesnt thing it isnt the most brilliant phone in the world must have holes drilled in their heads, the damn iphone freaks!)
Check this out dude: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2831041#post2831041
Restore the default AT&T theme.
Use mUn Background4AllPages, which will replace the default grey background with a transparent image, allowing the custom background on the Home tab to show through.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951
mUn Background4AllPages was originally done for the OEM HTC TF3D theme, so there may be side effects since the AT&T theme uses a custom clock. Be sure to read the thread for any extra info.
yeah i tried that. it doesnt work. the background is solid black instead, the clock doesnt work and everything is moved a bit out of place. thanks for trying though.
i found out more how to do it. these files are under weird things named 4a087e41_manila and 5c9aa261_manila and i tried using manilla editor but its just freaking out with errors because the program isnt well written. it would be alot easier if that background4allpages worked. oh well ill just wait for something better. thanks anyways.

How much of the 6.5 start menu can be customized?

I know the background of the start menu can be changed by:
1) changing the phones wallpaper like normal
OR
2) replacing the startmenu_background_screen_"resolution".png from within the windows folder.
The second is only if you want a different wallpaper in your start menu to the rest of your phone. (the default file is just a transparent .png which shows your normal wallpaper underneath)
I know you can also change the folder icons, by changing around other png files in the window folder.
My question is how can you change the font style or more importantly the colour?
Also, is it possible to change it so it resembles the wm6.1 start menu instead of the honeycomb?
(please dont say "just use a 6.1 ROM" because i dont want to. lol. I like wm6.5 as its quicker and more finger friendly, i just want the old start menu back)
no one know how to do these things?
anyone?
PLEASE?
im desperate here
lolz
As much or as little as you wish.
Have a look at some of the stuff I posted in here :-

Should answer a few of the basics.
Thanks for your reply, but those replies are about the today screen. I dont even use titanium any more. I find M2D more useful.
What i want to know is how to edit the Start menu.
the list of programs shown as hexagon icons
I want to change it to like how it was on wm6.1.
Just a grid of icons with words on a white background
OK, I have got what you are after... sounds like a registry hack somewhere....
Unfortunately the holiday(UK)/vacation(US), season is upon us, and I may not have found the solution for a week or two. If and when I do, I'll post it here and send you a PM.
Thank you.
Its appreciated

Click to collapse
I second this question. And what I want is better not the 'grid view'.
Better we have a registry tweak way, so that we can make a HoneyComb Toggle.
In some cases when I want more RAM, it's better to shutdown the honeycomb and the titanium today plugin.
So another question is do we have a tool to toggle the titanium? Like we can do to M2D? I know we can do it through today settings, but I'm looking for a way like regitweak or mortscript, so that I can use a shortcut to map it to a hardware button, do it within one touch.
[Edit: Got some sence for the half of first question from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509160&highlight=start+menu
Seems the WM6.5 honeycomb start menu is an executable called shell32.exe. If so we can shut it down with a powerful task manager like DotFred's TaskMgr.exe or let it show up in the htc task manager by registry tweak and kill it. Will report it back after I test it next week. Or anybody can test it right now?
But the first question still need an answer.
Edit3: So what is the process or service of the WM6.1 start menu ? (for that I think it's not an exe) This may help to answer the question of how to resemble old start menu back.
And then what is titanium? An exe, a process or a service? Got a name?]
Thanks for any help.
there isnt!
there isnt a way to back to 6.1 start menu...
but you can use the Qucik menu that is a lil same... but you need to leave blank the cpr file for grid scene on your windows folder... then use the Quick menu that Utaker post on devs and hack forum just search with this exact words " Quickmenu instead honeycomb" you may get all the answer you need there... Oh and the honey comb can be modded in maaaany ways just search all over the devs a nd hack sections
thanks bye.

Changing the bottombar?

Hi.. I'm totally new to this WM-world... Just wanted to ask if its possible to change the bar at the bottom (the one that says "phone" and "settings"?
If it is, and im pretty sure it is, would somebody be able to make something that looks like the bottombar on Sense for android? Wouldn't it "just" be a trip to photoshop and some nifty .cab compiling?
If you look at this pic, of an Hero, you can clearly see how cool it looks... I know that WM only has 2 actions at the bottom, but i think a cool design, close to Hero's, is achievable

[Q] Wanting to make an epic Fallout theme.

So I saw some of the Pipboy themes from Fallout on the market and I don't really like them. I was wondering how I could make my own ?custom theme? Not one that is a skin applied with Panda Home, but a full theme?
I even wanted to use the loading screen from fallout as the phone's boot screen.
I assume that this is something difficult to do but maybe someone who also likes Fallout could help me?
All tips advice and links are greatly appreciated.

Hrmm maybe this will be more difficult then i had anticipated?

A Few AddOns for IC 3.4.1 ?

Hello my dear Friends,
I have the IC 3.4.1 Mods with the newest Bricked Kernel. I want to have just a couple of more improvments, can you help me out?
1. Is there an smooth, transparent app drawer with Pages for IC 3.4.1 ?
2. I cant set a full wallpaper, even if its in the sensation resolution, i can only choose a small cut out of the picture.
3. I have problems with the GSM reception, what Radio should I install for a german network?
4. Maybe a CRT animation for IC?
Thanks and excuse my English
Hi
OK, about the first two questions, You could flash the Thyparancy Theme found in the themes section which will give you that transparent app drawer like you wanted, right now there isnt too many sense 3.5 themes but that will change.
Second, Yeah it is a bit annoying but it seems that HTC has removed the wallpaper scrolling part, but not from where you select the wallpaper. I found the best way around this was to use photoshop or any editing program and add extra canvas on the sides, which allowed me to put a thin image as my background. Hope that made sense..
I don't know about radios, but there is a thread about radios in the Android Development part for the sensation.. maybe try there
