Does anyone know if there is every going to be a bluetooth fix? I had to enable some registry hacks to get the phone to pair with my GARMIN NUVI 760 and it doesnt access the phone book correctly and doesnt show any of the missed calls etc log.. the phone book seems to get some contacts doubled if I change something in one of the contacts... It also doesnt handle contacts that only have company names and not first and last names (those names show up as a number but I can still type the company name in the search on the garmin). Any ideas?

Can anybody recommend some software that will show the call durations of each call made. I would just like to see how long each incoming and outgoing call made has gone for. At the moment, the closest thing I can get to this is pressing the caller history button, but it only shows name, number, and the date/time of the call.
I'm quite suprised that I have no been able to find anything like it yet, I thought it would be quite in demand. (unless I've missed something simple)
EDIT: silly me, I just realized that if I click on each item in the caller history, in a baloon popup it shows the rest of the information that I wanted to see - call duration, date and time. However, if anyone can find some software that shows all the information without having to click on each item, I'm still very interested!
I've found one that works alright, it even shows me a % signal strength!
It's called PhoneDashBoard. Unfortunately, it only shows me the phone number dialled in the call tracker history, not the associated name in my contacts list.
My old Nokia 8310 used to show me the name of the mobile tower I was connected to, i.e. Osborne Park or Perth CBD for example, has anyone seen something similar that can be used to do this? Phone dashboard just shows what network I'm connected to.
I also tested DKToday, unfortunatly I couldn't see any of its features as everytime I clicked on it on my today screen, it powered down my XDA. (running 2003 se)

Click to collapse
Looks like youve been talkin 2 yourself here.....
I use the Phone Dashboard also... I have found it to be the most capable/stable yet, and works well on my PDA2K.
hi dudez,
Sometimes when i got call i dont see name of call just show me number, There is a fix for this problem?
Thanx anyway,
ZPDY
that means the person calling you is not in your address book
I don't think zdpy means a person not in his address book!
I have noticed the same thing - intermittently.
The individual ringtones of CallerID aren't working at all on my Magician (I ALWAYS get the default ringtone), and sometimes even the name is not displayed.
I suspect this happens because I seem to have too many contacts (>600, overall >1500 phone numbers)...
I have been removed CallerID and still sometime show me only number with no name even the number store in my addressbook.
Hi,
Does anyone have any idea on how to change the dialed out numbers without modifying Contact entries? Reason for this is that I have listed all my contacts with a +countrycode, areacode, telnumber for the purpose of me being able to sms out even when overseas. However there are times that calling the same number when roaming overseas would need me to change the + sign to *123countrycode,areacode,telnumber. What's happening now is that I need to manually type in the new set of codes plus the tel numbers before I can dial out. Using the autosearch function of the Phone would not allow me to change the number shown.
Mon
Anyone who has idea on how to handle this? tried to search web but no one seem to have this problem. Any idea?
Hey guys,
I just started using Treo 750. I love it so far except few things I miss about my old Nokia. Earlier I used to dial a calling card number and then just choose the contact's destination number by selecting "Touch Tone" option from the menu while in call, and it would touch tone that number for me and I was connected. Now, WM5 phone app doesnt seem to be able to do it, and I have to write down the contact's number on a paper first before dialing calling card access number.
Also, I know a comma can be used a 1-second soft pause, but any possible way to add hard pauses in the phone number like traditional cell phones can do... Its cumbersome carrying calling card's PIN code in pocket, and then entering it after dialing calling card number and then punching in destination number from a paper again... its frustrating...
I tried to look up a lot of dialers and apps, but none was a helpful find. Could someone suggest any way out.
anybody???

I am using a product called MagiCall which has the calling card feature as well as calls filtering and SMS filtering.
I think it can help you.
Hi guys
Just wandering if anyone can throw some light on the reason my gear s3 refuses to voice dial, it understands my request no issues and displays the command on the screen
" Call dave" for example, the s3 hears it, displays it correctly
there is one contact with dave who has 1 number assigned
the s3 thinks for a second or 2 then displays " i did not get that" or " who do you want to call" it simply refuses to read contacts
stupid thing, it just displayed everything it needed but it just refuses to work, initially i thought contacts would be transferred to the watch, now i realise its a server thing but this has been like this now for a week since i got it so i cant see it being a server down issue
The phone i am using is a S7 edge with latest update and it is not running anything other than standard firmware and a square home from end, which is the w10 look
i tried resetting the watch but no joy, i tried changing the watch language to US no joy, checked the phone is syncing contacts to samsungs storage
and doing a search on the net actually brings up very little info on this issue
has anyone got any thoughts, here in the Uk having a device that voice dials whilst driving is a real must, i have BT in the car but dialing it is a pain so the watch would be a real help... if it would freakin work
TBH i wish i could use Cortana for voice assist, but that aint gona happen
The more i try different voice commands the more the issue points to lack of sync with contacts... what am i missing ?? just tried to send a text via voice and the s3 watch cant find any contacts
Hmm i had an almost whilst messing with the thing just now, i changed language from English auto to just English... now when i ask it to call a name the watch displays ( Contacts syncing ) that is as far as i have got, it still refuses to dial anyone, and checking my contacts in the watch they are all there
i have a similar issue, when I say call XXX, its then says "syncing contacts" and sites there, If manually go into contacts and call someone its fine, why it decides it needs to sync contacts at this point I dont know, why, must be a bug.
