I am going on a holiday to Indonesia and that is why I was wondering if it may be interesting to shop a new phone in Jakarta.
Any experiences with buying a cellphone in Jakarta?
- Where do I have to go
- Are the prices lower?
- Are HTC mobiles widely available
Any information is welcome. Curious what you all have to say
It depends on what device are you looking at? if you're looking such as HTC Tytn II Brand New thatn it's less cheaper than those in the UK.
The TyTN II is on my list
But the prices are the same as here??
I also consider an older model like the Trinity...
Does any body know where i can purchase the HTC Victor without the T Mobile branding >?
Cheers
Tim
Hi Sorry if this is misplaced.
I'm trying to contact HTC head office to ask the question listed below. If I use the HTC web site, my query gets defaulted back to the HTC agents in South Africa who don't answer my questions as they don't support Windows 7 any more only Droid
Question1: Is : HTC HD7 T9292 Schubert Smartphone - (16GB) (Black) (Unlocked/No Contract) still current or is it going to be discontinued or replaced with a Super LCD screen. I notice that an 'S' version has been launched for the States?
Question 2: :Will the HTC HD7 T9292 Schubert Smartphone - (16GB) Rom be upgraded with Mango by HTC shortly?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi
I am oppening my own repairshop of HTC and other android phones.
Could someone help me find a great, legit and somewhat cheap wholesale partner in the uk?
(im from Denmark)
thanks in advance.
Hello,
I tried to find an answer in the forum but couldn't, sorry for the new thread.
Well, I received my HTC Sensation XE today (Orange UK), but when I looked at the black sticker on the box I was frustrated to see that it's made in China
(with all respect to China)
The label inside the phone says that too.
I was hoping for a one made in Taiwan, as my current HTC HD2 is made in Taiwan, and HTC is a Taiwanese company.
I'm wondering, are most of the Sensation XE's made in China? Or did I get a bad deal here?
Are the ones made in China 2nd grade or something?

Labor is cheaper materials are cheaper, but a company like HTC will maintain quality.
Just because it's made in China, doesn't mean that it's a substandard product.
Nowadays almost all phones are made in China. It doesn't matter if it is HTC, Samsung or Apple.
It does not affect the quality of the phone.

Thanks guys. Yeah I know that iPhone for example is made in China... But still hoped my sensation was made in Taiwan.
Does Orange UK usually ship Chinese phones or it's just my luck?
