Recently installed Opera Mobile 10b2 on my HTC Touch 2 (Mega) WM6.5
Unfortunately can't watch videos or play flash games. It does link me to the adobe site, but theres nothing there.
Installed Flash Player v7 from the adobe site, but it still doesnt work.
Apart from using Skyfire (which is messy) is there any other solution, or does anyone know if Adobe are going to bring out a new version of flash player for wm6.5 soon.

I'm looking to get flash working on the Fuze...I would like to watch videos from joost, youtube, etc.
I found this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401643
Will that work with the raphael, seeing we have the landscape mode compared to the diamond?
Thanks!
yes, it works well
..Has anyone had luck watching movies from Hulu.com, Joost.com, etc? This was the main reason i installed the new opera...and the page either freezes up or says I dont have flash installed.
...yes I installed flash lite 3.1
Thanks!
Hi,
I have a HTC Touch HD (Rom version: 1.14.405.3) and sometimes when I try to watch a video online (streaming using Opera or IE) I get a message: Adobe Flash outdated or Javascript disabled.
You Tube Application plays videos fine, but any videos on different websites does not... is this a flash issue...?
I tried to download Adobe Flash 2.1 or 3.0, but I couldn't find the download link on Adobe.com.
Is this a known issue...?
Flash on Windows Mobile
Flash on Windows Mobile is rather problematic at the moment and very hit and miss. Some sites work fine, others do not. You can try looking for a new version of Opera, which I believe has some better flash support. I've also found that skyfire is working quite well for some of the different sites I've tried (e.g. Hulu, Youtube, etc.).
I have opera version 9.5, build 2682.
Can I get the link to the cab file of Adobe Lite 2 or 3...? I found a thread here but the link was removed due to Adobe Compliant.

Hello...
this is really a big problem... On wm6 they developed a YouTube program only get you tube videos on fuze...
so... I unlocked my fuze and trying several ROMs, there was one that I've liked more than others. On my old ROM (original from HTC) I used to watch channels on JUSTIN.TV only by the Skyfire, because my Opera was'nt able to do that.
Now, I have the newest Opera (10), it doesnt work on justin tv(some streamings it works), and says I have to install adobe flashplayer 10... On the IE, it appear an icon with an F9(flashplayer 9)... and finally... on the newest Skyfire installed by me, it doesnt work also, doesnt mean needing any program or anything, and just keeps black, with no video and with a blank expression...
What should I do? Is there any flash program to do ALL on opera? Because I prefer Opera than other all programs, or a solution... Please
why no answers? Is it impossible to do?
Hello guys.
Have any of you had problems trying to view coreplayer youtube?
Apparently it is a problem so us TG01 Cannot view youtube because we are running an outdated version of coreplayer.
We will not be receiving an update therefore we cannot view youtube through coreplayer.
So i have tried downloading and installing various youtube applications, but none of them seem to support TG01 WVGA display coming out blurry.
I have tried: Google Youtube (blurry), HTC Youtube App (unable to play videos), YoutubePlay (blurry)
Can anyone suggest a good free youtube app (cab) that is fully functional and supports its screen resolution. I cannot find one!
(pleased do not suggest flash browsers i.e skyfire i have tried them and not impressed would prefer a built application.)
Thank you much apprieciated,
Oliver
KINOMA player work perfect, with seach engine very nice. is amazing!!!
sorry not the answer you're looking for, but INHO the latest version of the google app is pretty decent...
you could also try opera 10 as this now supports youtube or skyfire (which is my new best friend as far as flash based sites go)
or you could buy the latest coreplayer (no, i wouldn't either)
lemme know if you need me to post any cabs, i have all i mention above (bar the paid version of coreplayer)
cheers

Re Core Player - I already had the paid Core Player from previous devices and can confirm taht the latest edition works fine, while the one that was included in the TG01 ROM doesn't - it was one key bug they sorted in the last update.

I agree with you, i am not willing to pay to upgrade my coreplayer version. i already had opera mobile 10 as my default browser, but am not to keen on watching youtube on that.
as my first post stated, i have also used skyfire aswell, but i wouldpprefer to view youtube through a built in application rather than a flash browser.
I have also just tried the latest google youtube app. still no screen resolution fix...
any other suggestions?
thanks for your help,
Oliver

I use Youtubeplay with success on TG01. My version is v1.0.0.11
http://tinyurl.com/youtubeplay
You can even download videos as FLV with it.
You say that videos are blurry. In fact some few videos are blurry but most of them are OK, I think that it depends of the source, not the player...
Greetings from BCN
i agree with olly, i've got the exact same problem. Ibelieve what he is asking for is an app called WVD which no longer works, it capabilities of viewing youtube vidz in 3gp, flv and mp4, and allowed you to download all videos. it was extremely fast aswel.
anyone know of a similar app or good substitube for WVD?
Hey brian,
In arag0ns manilla rom, he includes a working htc youtube app. If you are not looking to flash a new rom, perhaps you could contqct him and ask him if he could kindly provide us with a cab of A working HTC Youtoube.
htc manilla youtube app that can be found in aragon's roms isnt bad ... but it doesnt support Accounts !! so u have no idea if u got any new subbed videos
best thing rite now is m.youtube.com , and trust me i know it was ****ty last time u checked it , opening a stupid player app , but theyve stepped up their game and have account management , Flash player embedded , not the best quality but its lightweight and responsive .
hey guys..
okay so this is really pissing me off.. there is not ONE browser out there that supports all kinds of flash.. ive tried opera default, 10, internet explorer, skyfire( which doesnt work in my country!) and iris, which is great but still doesnt support all kinds of flash e.g. stream videos..
can someone help me out?
try m.opera.com on the device and install correct version or download freeware uzard web browser ..hope this helps

He is asking for a browser supporting ALL versions of flash - AFAIK there is no plugin for Opera that supports Flash 10. I've been using Uzard alot and have to say that it gets the closest to full flash support I've seen.

Agreed, Uzard isnt bad but not the perfect solution. I havent yet but mate flashed his HD2 to android and said the flash on this system works great, fast etc. Much better than Uzard :-(

Does it work on every site? I doubt it! It shouldn't be able to play Flash 10!
Skyfire plays ALL flash on any website (tried it on myself with misc sites) WORKS 100 %
You can get it from OMarket!!

skyfire isn´t supported in every country and it can´t really handle flash on all sites. if your watching a video it isn´t very fluid. no comparison to the android version of skyfire or the froyo browser.
i think uzard is the best you can get on winmo at the moment.

+1 exactly!
Haven't tried Uzard, but will. I hear it's good. Skyfire is hit & miss for me. I can watch some videos, with a lag. But it won't play YouTube! So it is only a temporary solution until something better comes along, like Uzard from what I am hearing.
I tried everything for Wm and skyfire and uzard are the closest you'll get to full flash but its not perfect.
I just boot into android (froyo builds) to get proper flash 10.1 sites.
Would highly recommend it. BBC iplayer works brilliant through the froyo browser.
All the flash sites I tried (like miniclip.com) were much better on android than on uzard/skyfire/wm

alrite thanks! ill try uzard right now
according to the uzard website, it supports VGA and QVGA and as far as i know hd2 is WVGA.
how to set all the page fit into the screen? I dont want to move arround.
I don't like uzard because when I try to rewind a video it starts all over.

I have to say that i agree here, while booting into android is a pain just to watch a flash video, the performance is impressive... video sizes to screen very nice and is quick.
If you are just missing youtube though have you tried the you tube app? I have had great success with that...
It will be good if we have true full flash support browser on windows mobile but personally i prefer to go on android... and the fact that hd2 soon will have android flashable rom makes me excited a lot!!
Is there a chance that the upcoming Adobe Flash 10.1 for Windows mobile 7 can be ripped for using with WM 6.5(.X)?
