Nope. At least not until someone ports Hero 2.1 onto the Nexus. I like to use Swift.
Twidgit Lite is a great Twitter widget as well.

I noticed that we have the HTC News app and the HTC Weather widget, but where is the HTC News and Weather app? Has anyone testing this .apk and if so, can you share please?

Thank you so much Sph33r. That's the one I was looking for. I rooted the Desire ROM onto my N1 immediately and just assumed it was an HTC thing. It does look very HTCish to me.
hey does anyone know if there is a good theme out for the Beautiful Home widget to make it have that Droid x/2 motoblur theme? i cant find anything that really fits in with my home screen, and if there is no such thing can someone make one for me if they know how to ? thanks
HA, i would say 90% of everyone comes here to get away from the moto blur.
Your gonna have a long road ahead of you trying to stick with that "theme".
That being said, to answer your question. No, I dont think there is one. Scrolling the whole list in BW clock skins and lots of google searches is what your in for my friend.
Everyone seemes to hate blur. I dont have my X yet But from what ive seen i dont mind the way the way it looks. But also from what i have heard and the fact that ive already purchased launcher pro plus when i had my captivate i will be using that instead of the stock launcher coupled with beatiful widgets will be awesome but a theme like this could be cool

This launcher looks pretty cool to be honest. Not sure if others would be interested in it or not. It seems to have a few bugs and might even require 2.1 OS but im about to give it a try on my X10.
The features are cool, most especially being able to organize the app drawer. I previously owned an LG EVE and although the phone itself sucked with Android 1.5 the LG native features were pretty decent. Ill let everyone know if it works on our phones or not. One other X10 owner seemed unable to install it so its up in the air.

So the Home selector apk will install but its useless as the Home apk itself will not. My guess is that its for Eclair and above as the Optimus Z runs on Eclair. Seeing as the 2.1 update is due this month im assuming no one is interested in trying to get it to work on 1.6. Maybe its not even possible...I dunno.
Yup, i tried it to. Was a no go. Guess we have to wait till we have atleast 2.1 . When is that happening by the way? Hear spain anounced it for end of September.

Guys don't flame me for this, but I really love the HTC Sense UI, but the form factory of the HTC Evo View leaves a quite a lot to be desired when compared to my Galaxy Tab Plus. I've tried to get some of the lookalike HTC widgets from the market, but the integration just Visn't as deep as I want really. For example, the Sense calendar on the Evo View is fantastic. In landscape, you get a really graphically rich grid calendar on the left half, and an agenda view on the right half. Everything just looks a lot more polished IMO than Touchwiz
Would it even be possible to get the honeycomb version of the HTC Evo View and flash it onto the Galaxy?

no, you could port it, but not install the actual ROM guaranteed not to work.
HTC is totally diff from samsung, HTC working on any other device is actually quite a bit of work. Sense can be ported but is usually a PITA if device is not HTC.
I would advise you not to attempt to install any other device's ROM on your device.

Thanks, I was doubtful it would work but I thought I'd pose the question. I'm actually surprised that the Sense stuff isn't ported more often, but I know it's kindof a love or hate with Sense...

Realistically and unfortunately no.
I've been on an HTC evo 3d for a long time and the email application they use as a part of sense is amazing.
It feels and acts like a microsoft developed extension of Exchange / Outlook integration. It is awesome for business and I am missing it big time on my new Nexus 5.
Does anyone have a good recommendation on an alternative as my initial google searching has lead me to believe that the HTC app is tied to sense and not portable.
Maybe someone will develop a Sense 5 port for the N5?
PSA: I haven't the faintest idea about what I'm talking about and have no idea if it's even possible. I just know I loved the Sense 5 port on my Evo 4G LTE lol and if I ever had to go back to a "skinned" phone, Sense 5 would be my choice.
