Hello all
i got in service a htc magic A6161 , the client said , he used only softwares from android market , but the phone actualy it looks like a bricked brick it does nothin' , now ideas would be great , a j-tag who suport the cpu's msm7200A and msm7201 must arrive , but from my knowledge i'll need some binary files instead nbh , someone could help mewith some infos or to revive this brick?

sorry this web sites cant help me i have p300b no p300, rom no compatible, the firs have bluetooth/no camera, the second have camera/no bluetooth.

-Thank you user 22 but another time you confused,
p300=yakumo omikron, i dont have a yakumo omikron i have
p300b= woxter i-pocket 200, not the same pda, the first have camera(no bluetooth)the second have bluetooth(no camera), and the upgrades and roms of p300 dont run in my p300b.

Somebody can teach me to extract rom from eten p300b??
if i extract it from a friend pda, i will flash mine.

I seen that you are allready registered on there but...
I still have a Eten P700 rom image in my PC, maybe if you do the .bin dump ,then you can use the USBDL_200.exe that is coming with it. Rom image can be on .bin format or .nb0 format.
Something more to try, nothing to lose.

ok, I dump the rom from a friend (the same pda : woxter,p300b) , in 64 Mb. But when is flashing at finish the process stop and dont finish the flash....is not problem from pda because i flash on it a yakumo rom and finish and say to me that the rom isnt compatible....but finish!!
Somebody help?why the woxter rom dont finish the flash??

i truly do not know how it works, (on my htc pro 2 , i do know), does this also work with the magic, do i need to place an hard spl , before do a rom change, and how do i do a rom change.
please can someone help me.

I have found that the vodafone magics do not need to have the SPL flashed (I have one myself). If you use the recovery image from this post

you can flash a ROM from your SD card. Just call it update.zip. You will need the android SDK. Being new-ish here myself this is the way I found to do it and still do use.

Compiled from official firmware for HTC Snap. Only the English language. Keyboard layout as on the devices from Vodafone.
