I have modified the MoDaCo 2.0 rom to fit my needs + likes. This is a great ROM thanks MoDaCo you have done a great job again.
I take no credit for any of this great work. It was all pulled from different ROMs I just made this for myself and figured why not share it with everyone.
Thanks to MoDaCo, Flipzmode, Obelisk79 and others for all your hard work. I have just taken
what I like from all the ROMs and made a update.zip to flash from recovery.
I flashed this over Obelisk79's Modified MoDaCo 1.3 ROM and have no FC's so far and it is
running Super Smooth and Fast.
Known Issue with MoDaCo 2.0 ROM -- Reboot command is not working in Command Prompt or Ouickboot App. Once he releases a fix should be able to use it fix this version of the ROM since it is just a modified MoDaCo ROM.

Changed Bootscreen to Hero Nexus Hybrid with sound

My wifi seems to be working fine but i have not used it a lot yet. I will do some testing and get back to you.

This is the New MoDaCo ROM core it is pretty fast but you may want to do reading in the original ROM forum to see if anybody compares the two.

Should not have any problems with doing that but remember roise only changes some things to green not everyting like the fresh rom. The status bar etc will remain normal.
Looks very nice! I'll give it a shot in the next day or so. Where can I get that cool battery gauge in the notification bar?

I went back to Fresh 1.1 and no problems with WiFi. Again not sure if it was just my phone or not.

Still testing this but all is good for me. Someone else had this issue and i guess the fix was to clear all the saved SSID's and re-connect

If you're using JIT, you should remove JIT, flash launcher, then reinstall JIT. That's not my launcher fault, is the Jit behaviour messing dalvik-cache...

There are 2 main "branches" of this mod:
the 0.6.x branch is (and always will be) for Android 1.6 donut ONLY.
the 0.7x branch is for Android 2.1 eclair and will grow up.
At the moment the Eclair branch is considered EXPERIMENTAL/UNSTABLE and is not a *proper* port, neither has the right support for different screen sizes/resolutions, so use at your own risk
Installation method:
Put the ADW.Launcher.zip into the root of your sdcard.
Boot into recovery.
NANDROID (just be cautious )
Flash the file.

NOTICE
Some settings will force launcher to shutdown itself after aplying, so if your launcher shuts off on settings exit, you should "relaunch" it pressing your home phisical button.
Theme-related things
This thing is not "themed", it uses default highlight colours, etc, so if you're using a themed launcher or a themed rom, it will overwrite it and you'll loose those changes.
Solutions:
Ask your themer/rom dev to change this launcher images.
Try using metamorphs out there to change it yourself

How many screens do you have in your actual setup?
I've heard having more than 5 makes the fc party when flashing things like this.

2-wait till i can merge this onto adv.launcher if i ever can

I got a 963 Quadrant and battery is pretty nice
963 is pretty good...I'm gonna flash it and try to run it for a while...I'm already running noobnl 1.0.3 with his latest kernel released last night...my quadrant surprisingly is only 930

none that I know of, noobnl's stuff is solid that's why I used it
did u get permission from all the devs to use their apps? I dont think its allowed to have market apps in roms without authorization from the dev......i may be wrong tho

Install the ROM with clockwork recovery. The icon pack just unzip on your sd and apply them with ADW by long-pressing your desktop and selecting custom shortcut

Yes you need to be on the latest update "DI07" and the icons are for shortcuts on your desktop or app drawer(if using LiveHome)

I like the new kernel...it is pretty smooth although I got better quadrant scores with an earlier version I think the 132 version...

Re engineered link FIXED. new linky, should fix F/C, if you are not installing on a fresh install and have problems IDK what to do, I don't use this ROM, I only made it as it is EVO framework. So, do a clean install, load the rom once, then back to recovery and flash this, worked for me...

I'm not familiar with that ROM, but if it uses the EVO framework then it should work not a problem.

try installing it after loading the rom fresh i think that may be only the way, sorry man, im not sure why, but it works for me

Ha! Yeah I am with cellular south still. 99% of the custom roms for the hero are based on sprint stock though. Like Kyle said the eri.XML is where the carrier name is located. It can be changed to say whatever you like.

loving the theme! i have developed 1 problem since install. not sure if it's related to the theme or not. i cant make calls...i get error " the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." anybody else run across this? any solution short of restoring nandroid? thx.

Yep I did too! Missed two calls because of it
i nandroided back to an earlier release, 02-06 i think....all is well now. will reflash 02-10 later probably. probably a dumb question, but once this theme is installed, is there a way to uninstall with out reflashing, restoring nandroid? i did try changing to another theme in theme chooser...it didnt fix the problem though.

I just tested the dialer and had no problems. Not sure why you 2 are... I use dialer 1 as default anyways but I did test the stock phone apk and it worked. Try reflashing the theme.

To get rid of a theme you just have to reflash the rom. No wipe needed.

Yes, it is 2.2.1 but HTC planned to update it to Gingerbread *soon*.

Thanks man, i was almost there last night, i was on the lockscreen, but when unlocked, white htc screen the night was to short, had to go to sleep... 6.30am hehehe.
Will see if i find some time to make it work.

Sneak peak uber-mega-alpha don't know what works and what will make the device detonate (well wifi and network location work..). I'm shamelessly using your latest rom as a base for folder structure, scripts and stuff
edit: Before someone asks, no, for now the camera doesn't work

I personally think it's better to port this dump right now, than Huashan one

I'm trying to get the camera working for the Inc S dump (for Droid Incredible), and have tried all the fixes I remember...But still getting a black screen. I know I'm missing something...
Here's where I'm at:
1. Replaced libs with known working versions
2. Decompile HTCCamera.apk, edit DisplayDevice.smali (for 720p)
3. Replace hw with known working versions
Any suggestions?
