I have a diamond 2 with windows mobile 6.5
And I have IGO 8 but for execute I need go in windows explorer and run the igo8.exe
I want to put this program in the quick link but I can´t because I can only choose from program, contac and bookmark.

Try creating a shortcut for igo8 and sending it to the start menu. Then you should be able to select it from a list for the launcher.
As Ted put it...
go to your storage card and find the igo8.exe file...and select "copy".
select windows/start menu/programs and simply "paste shortcut"
Rename "shortcut to igo8" to just "igo8" and you're set
Go to today screen, select blank cell and scroll down to find igo.

I have change accordingly but the photo is still small. The layout of the phone keypad have changed except the photo. Must be install on main memory or can I install on sd card?

2. goto \windows directory and rename the old phcan.rc with something else
3. copy the phcanrc.dll to \windows
4. Restart it...[/QUATE]
After step 1, it ask to restart to complete the instalation. Should I select OK or go to step 3 before Soft reset(restart).

Hello everyone I need help with a gps program install. I have a gps cab when I install it the cab auto install it in my device. but I want it on my CF card so what I did is cut and paste the gps file from my device to my cf and when I use file explorer I can access the program from there. How can I add a shortcut on my device so dont have to do thru file explorer to start the gps program. I did a search and no info on this thanks
just select the exe file and select "copy", then go to "\windows\startmenu\programs" and click somewhere into
the white background at the end of the list for some seconds and choose "paste shortcut" and you're done....

before WM6 "Storage Clear" I`ve had a nice settings my taskbar items. They was windows xp style. After reset I can't find those options, because default taskbar items laying out (I mean programs) is very uncomfortable.
There is picture, what I want:

I'm able to do so thanks to a wonderful button/qwerty remapper found on XDA (for TP2 only), the only problem is I don't know the path for HTC's All Programs.
I rarely ask questions here, 'cause 99% of them has been already asked and answered, but this time I really can't find the solution.

EDIT: Also, could someone please extract the bk_Program_List.qtc file from \HTC\Assets\Images\programlauncher\ ? I think that if I'll play around with it I could actually change the background of the All Programs Tab.

When I click into the green square , manila open htc messaging , its a default option.

Changing softkeys on SMS tab is more than just a registry tweak. You have to tweak the manila files which is more involved.
You can change softkeys on home tab through registry, or you can use Cookies Home Tab to configure a portion of your home screen to open what you want, or assign it to a hardware key using Topaz Keyboard Controller
